Everything was very good as always. Went for a second visit to Have the fillet steak to check the new oven wasn't a fluke from the previous week but it was just as good. Christian said we have swordfish as a new dish so had that for lunch that was amazing too. Didn't find out my Mum was there with friends and she also had the swordfish lol in the main restaurant as i was in the bar lol.Breakfast was also as good as always, Thanks Gill. Till next time as only 25 mins down the road..

Lovely, independent restaurant and hotel in stunning surroundings. The rooms are well maintained and nicely done. The staff are friendly, very helpful, and really look after you. The breakfast in the mornings is great and really appreciated all the efforts the staff went to over the Easter bank holiday.

Excellent food and service. Staff are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back and will highly recommend. We stayed in room 301 and the views are outstanding Thank you for a lovely stay.

The Plough is fine. It is looking a bit dated and in need of refurbishment. The rooms are spacious enough and the aircon works well. I stay in a lot of hotels and think the Plough is overpriced for what it offers. That’s probably why occupancy was quite low during my stay. At dinner the waitress spilled wine over one of the diners at my table. The waitress didn’t know what to do and laughed, probably in embarrassment. She evidently needs retraining on how to deliver service properly.

We are local to the area but decided to book to stay the night here after a Sunday roast. The staff went above and beyond in getting our room ready early. Our Sunday roast was top notch! Unfortunately, our stay was cut short due to the collapse of one of our dogs, whom we had to rush to the vet hospital in Carmarthen that evening. We would just like to thank all of the hotels staff for their support and assistance, in what has been a very distressing situation.

We are local to the area but decided to book to stay the night here after a Sunday roast. The staff went above and beyond in getting our room ready early. Our Sunday roast was top notch! Unfortunately, our stay was cut short due to the collapse of one of our dogs, whom we had to rush to the vet hospital in Carmarthen that evening. We would just like to thank all of the hotels staff for their support and assistance, in what has been a very distressing situation.

Very helpful staff. We were in the apartment which was lovely, our own space and an area for us all to gather and natter with a cuppa. The bed was huge. Tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and toiletries all available in the room. Breakfast was very good, great choice too. We ate in the restaurant on the first night, booked for us by the hotel. Very handy as we didn't have to think about finding somewhere. The food was very good. We would stay again. Thanks

Very helpful staff. We were in the apartment which was lovely, our own space and an area for us all to gather and natter with a cuppa. The bed was huge. Tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and toiletries all available in the room. Breakfast was very good, great choice too. We ate in the restaurant on the first night, booked for us by the hotel. Very handy as we didn't have to think about finding somewhere. The food was very good. We would stay again. Thanks

The worst aspect of the stay was the food. The duck meal I had was heavily spiced with cinammon or nutmeg- both the sauce and red cabbage. There was no mention of this on the menu. I dislike the flavour and I complained but there was not even an explanation or apology. The breakfast also was uninspiring. Considering that we spent £100+ on food and some drink I would have expected better

Warm friendly greeting from reception staff on arrival. Very generous sized room with the welcome addition of air-con, very useful given the temperatures. Evening meal in the restaurant was delicious with a good menu choice.
