Welcoming owners, and quirky rooms. Great location for strolling into the city centre, and Nottingham Playhouse. Pre booked on site parking was well worth an additional £10 per night. Brilliant international breakfast menu offered.

Room was nice although not the cleanest. Bed very soft which didnt really suit me. Fairly quiet but could hear outside noise and some from corridor. No parking space on arrival was disappointing and inconvenient.

Wonderful individual boutique hotel. Great location with car parking. Easy walking to anywhere in Nottingham. Kind hosts who will help with any request. And let’s just say the impressive and varied international breakfast menu on its own is worth coming to stay for!

A fantastic, uniquely decorated room. Comfy beds and spacious en suite bathroom, with a modern bath and separate large shower. Received a warm welcome with advice on parking. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Very unwelcome when collected keys, room was full of dust in lamps and on skirting boards, paint peeling from walls and around shower Sink plug hole dirty rooms were looking very tiredrooms size does not resemble picture Felt as though we was on a time limit as couldn’t come and go as we wanted to with a car due to no bleeper given for the gate Breakfast was a poor quality and chef having argument on phone when cooking breakfast, however the atmosphere should not been taken out on the customers Cut 2 night stay short as felt very claustrophobic in room and imprisoned. Double bed was very small ideally that room would be better with a single

The property is very clean. Lovely in fact. Bed was comfortable. The room was facing the road so it was noisier than I would have liked, still not that bad. Owners are not bad people, but I didn’t feel there was a personal service there. I came in with a lot of small items in my hands, I wasn’t helped or even shown to my room. This is a B&B, so you’d expect at least ask if I needed help. I was also quizzed why I didn’t book directly through website - a bit too much for my liking - so much so I fell into explaining how this was a last minute trip. The other disappointment is the parking. I was first told I cannot park for the following day - fine - I did ask however if possible. The owner told me to drop my stuff and that it will probably be a couple of quid. I came back and for half a day said it’ll be a full days charge. No explanation. Not even an alternative. I paid. I am new to the city, didn’t know. Finally, the check out. On the way out there was no warmth or desire to find out how the stay was, if everything was okay. I dropped my stuff in the car and came back to address some of the issues and at least ask about the parking but when I attempted, as i handed the key back, the owner said “okay. Bye!”. Cannot stress how important is building relationships with your customers as a small business. The small things make a difference. Yes, I do support small businesses but there are different ways to handle things and for me, this was an awkward stay.

Great looking room. Bed comfortable. Only negative was a broken shower that only delivered scolding hot water - which you discover once your in the shower. Obvioudly no opportunity to fix as only there one night and tried to shower in the morning If you want a parki g space ring them needs to be booked and costs £10. I messaged my requirement, but recieved no response, so assumed that parking would be ok, as with other properties.

Friendly owners, very unique guest bedrooms as every room themed, lots of amenities in the room, location close to the town centre arena etc, parking outside if you get there early enough but quite pricey

We stayed in the Paris room, and even though the decor is a tad over the top, the room was comfy, big and offered everything we needed. The owner/manager was very helpful and nice to talk to. We paid $10 to park in the inn parking lot.

Was comfy & warm! Had the London room which was great! The breakfast was really good and worth booking and paying extra for! The only downside is you had to pre book the parking (£10) which we were happy to pay but told on arrival it was full ! I didn’t read anywhere you had to pre book, and even emailed 2 weeks prior and they didn’t say then! So parked on the street £1:50 an hour.

Quirky place to stay and so central for Nottingham town centre. Clean and comfortable.

Cobwebs on the legs of the bedside table, a large long black hair by the pillow and in the bathroom, as well as a filthy pillow and dirt on the floor next to the side of the bed. We were not told that we had to preorder breakfast in fact we never actually got any check in information just a key handed to us. When we arrived at breakfast we were told in front of the other guests that is was not possible as we hadn’t preordered and they were a small establishment - who knows what they would done if we had preordered as it was full!! No offers of a continental or partial breakfast that could be eaten in our suite, nothing. So we said we would leave and not to bother, we went straight up to get our things and before we could even vacate the room the owner entered the room without knocking to start the change over process. Both owners were the rudest most inhospitable hosts I’ve come across in all my extensive travels! Avoid. Definitely not worth the money. I wish I had read the “tips” section on one of the other sites that mentioned several times how rude and unfriendly the owners are - I would never have booked!

The room was small.so hot with only a small fan which was no good at all. If two people had to pass each other by the beds you had to do crab steps so you could get passed each other. On one of the chairs in the room the back was completely broken. For the money I paid for that room i would have stayed in a sauna and been more comfortable Tokyo room absolutely terrible.

We stayed in the new york room . Very large, comfortable. Apart from noisy metal furnishings (wardrobe, bed side cabinets, side board) it was a good room.

This place is run by a couple. The only real good thing is the breakfast. Not fantastic, just good. Matress in our bed was completely worn down, and the internet was so bad, it was in reality useless. Guys! - May I suggest that you keep your personal toxic arguments away from your customers? I see this place has been good - once upon a time. "Has been" is unfortunately the best description.

On a busy road, aware of the traffic noise as I chose to have the window open at night. But was everything we needed, and gave us a great stay.

The owners are very friendly and inviting! Had a wonderful stay here and the rooms are really cool with a great attention to detail and care put into them! Well worth a visit for an alternative hotel experience.

Large old house, no lift , Room clean and nicely decorated. Female staff member pleasant and welcoming. Male staff member aggressively called me about missing room menu after checking out. Very rude and unpleasant questing about missing menu. Not worth the price

We stayed in the Tokyo room and it was lovely, we opted to have breakfast the next morning and glad we did it was so good and the dining room is beautiful. Had a lovely chat with the host just as we were leaving loved Bertie the dog.
