The staff was amazing, so helpful with reservations for dinner and booking the beach club chairs and umbrella. Beautiful hotel with private access to the beach. Rooms with a sea view are wonderful. You will not find a better place than this in Tropea.

Beautiful location sitting on edge of cliff. Book early and get ocean view room as locals flock here for good reason !! Walkable to everything. GO to main part of old town !! Wonderful breakfast and bar area..

Excellent hotel with sweeping views. Steps down to beach (185!) with chairs reserved and a delicious restaurant recommendation. Walking distance to the town center. Nice breakfast and great bartender! Easy parking in front of hotel.

This hotell is in prime position, overlooking the water and a 12 minute walk into the town centre. To get to the beach, they have stairs (184 steps, i counted) snd you can either sit on one of the private beaches, or like us, buy a €10 umbrella and ger comfy on the sand (the hotel supllies brach towels, no limit). The staff were all anszjng snd accommodating, could not fault them. Always ups for a chat, with a smile and they even laughed at our Aussie humour. Our room (305, seaview) was ok sized, with a great L shaped balcony overlooking the sea. The room was a little tired looking, the rain shower didn’t work well as most of the holes were rusted and clogged, but tge hand help shower was supee poweful, so i was happy with that. The breakfast was ggod, greek yoghurt, fruit, museli, nuts, cold meats, cheeses, bread, cakes, boiled eggs, bacon scambled eggs, sausages, espresso coffees (whatever you like), tea, juices and water. All in all in was a good 4 star hotel, but for the average price we paid €390/night, ww have stayed in better. But you do pay for the view. Also, the pool is a plunge pool/spa, not very large, so if like us you wanted a pool to swim, then be aware of this. Would i go back there....hmmm, i did love the position and the staff but fir the price, probably not

This is a lovely hotel in a great location…10-15 minute walk to the old town with restaurants and shops. The ocean views are wonderful with chairs all Ali g side in order to enjoy it. The ocean is reachable by a staircase…lots of stairs but I felt safe using them. Our room was large, beds and pillows were comfy. The room was cleaned every day. Breakfast which was included was delicious with lots of variety. The staff were all very friendly. Francesco is the bartender and was always there when we wanted a drink and snacks. He made great Mai Tais. There is a small pool…about twice the size of a hot tub. This little pool came in handy for me when I reached the top of the stairs from the beach…very refreshing. Beautiful outdoor lounges and table and chairs. My one complaint would be their hair dryers…just a nozzle really with hot air. Other than that, I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Misleading photos. Rooms are tiny and dated, pool is more like a tub, and the “beach access” means 180 steps to a public beach. Only plus was the terrace view. Tried to check out early, but no one at the front desk at 7 a.m. On the bright side, the staff and bartender were very nice.

Very disappointed - not as represented on site. Room had a smell. Hotel is dated and areas were not clean. Staff tried but manager seemed like everything was too much for her to handle and she complained to guests.

The hotel was extremely clean and updated. Hospitality was 100%. From the moment we walked into reception from a long drive the excellence began. We were greeted with a complimentary drink and snacks and an exquisite view on the terrace. Fine Details of our stay was explained by patient staff member. Even upon checkout we were departed with complimentary waters to go. Cannot wait to return.

The breakfast was ggod, greek yoghurt, fruit, museli, nuts, cold meats, cheeses, bread, cakes, boiled eggs, bacon scambled eggs, sausages, espresso coffees (whatever you like), tea, juices and water. All in all in was a good 4 star hotel, but for the average price we paid €390/night, ww have stayed in better. But you do pay for the view. Also, the pool is a plunge pool/spa, not very large, so if like us you wanted a pool to swim, then be aware of this. This hotell is in prime position, overlooking the water and a 12 minute walk into the town centre. To get to the beach, they have stairs (184 steps, i counted) snd you can either sit on one of the private beaches, or like us, buy a €10 umbrella and ger comfy on the sand (the hotel supllies brach towels, no limit). The staff were all anszjng snd accommodating, could not fault them. Always ups for a chat, with a smile and they even laughed at our Aussie humour. Our room (305, seaview) was ok sized, with a great L shaped balcony overlooking the sea. The room was a little tired looking, the rain shower didn’t work well as most of the holes were rusted and clogged, but tge hand help shower was supee poweful, so i was happy with that. Beautiful Property high above the beach in Tropea. The staff here really make it wonderful - incredible views. Small, but refreshing pool. Bartender makes great limoncello spritzs. Excellent breakfast with lots of fresh fruit. We had a room with huge patio and jaccuzi bathtub on patio, which was nice at night without the heat on. Room on the small side - shower in room had paint peeling on bottom & hard help shower attachment holder was gross - has been repaired a lot. Otherwise, very pleasant and again, that patio was fabulous. The staff her really make it special. We sure and go all the way into Tropea's old town for great restaurants and wonderful strolls at night.

Room 211 was perfect. The balcony was large, had a private jacuzzi, and a beautiful and unobstructed view of the sea. The staff was warm, welcoming, and super helpful. It was only a 12-13 minute walk to the old town. We would stay there again and again.

This hotel was lovely!!! The location was perfect and the view was absolutely gorgeous. All the staff were very kind and helpful and the room tho on the smaller side was very comfortable I've got no complaints. I would book again 100%.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location…10-15 minute walk to the old town with restaurants and shops. The ocean views are wonderful with chairs all Ali g side in order to enjoy it. The ocean is reachable by a staircase…lots of stairs but I felt safe using them. Our room was large, beds and pillows were comfy. The room was cleaned every day. Breakfast which was included was delicious with lots of variety. The staff were all very friendly. Francesco is the bartender and was always there when we wanted a drink and snacks. He made great Mai Tais. There is a small pool…about twice the size of a hot tub. This little pool came in handy for me when I reached the top of the stairs from the beach…very refreshing. Beautiful outdoor lounges and table and chairs. My one complaint would be their hair dryers…just a nozzle really with hot air. Other than that, I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

The staff was amazing, so helpful with reservations for dinner and booking the beach club chairs and umbrella. Beautiful hotel with private access to the beach. Rooms with a sea view are wonderful. You will not find a better place than this in Tropea.

Very disappointed - not as represented on site. Room had a smell. Hotel is dated and areas were not clean. Staff tried but manager seemed like everything was too much for her to handle and she complained to guests.

I was assigned a wheelchair room and it was not suitable to us. The bathroom facility was terrible. The toilet was so high I couldn’t touch the floor. Staff was average in accommodating our requests. Always felt like I was asking too much even if it was just for ice for our room. Towels were very worn. Apart from that view was amazing.

My family and I have been fortunate to travel a lot and this hotel, the location, and staff was the absolute best. From check-in, we realized we were going to have a great time. Georgia made us feel welcome, spent time with us giving us information, and introduced us to Pavel, the bartender and he immediately made us feel like we’ve known each other for many years. The complementary Prosecco was an absolute treat and we had it while sitting in the outside patio that was magnificent and the view was out of this world. Thanks also to Selina and the two young ladies that served at breakfast. We would recommend this hotel for all that it offers but the staff is above and beyond expectation. Claudio and Angie Di Nota.

The hotel was extremely clean and updated. Hospitality was 100%. From the moment we walked into reception from a long drive the excellence began. We were greeted with a complimentary drink and snacks and an exquisite view on the terrace. Fine Details of our stay was explained by patient staff member. Even upon checkout we were departed with complimentary waters to go. Cannot wait to return.

Georgia was awesome as well as the ladies at the coffee/bar/ restaurant ! Perfect location with steep steps to the rocky beach. If you prefer sandy beach you need to walk towards the city center which is about 15 minutes away. We didn’t mind walking as we love the exercise and helps to walk off the drinks / food ! Lots of restaurants in the area in town.

Excellent hotel with sweeping views. Steps down to beach (185!) with chairs reserved and a delicious restaurant recommendation. Walking distance to the town center. Nice breakfast and great bartender! Easy parking in front of hotel.

Rarely have I gone to a hotel and been treated so well. I felt as though I was welcomed not to a hotel but to a family home. Getting to the hotel is easy and you are located right in front of the beach. Head down the stairs and you are there. This is indeed a special place. Such a well run hotel deserves this kind of praise.

at a little home away from home. After travelling from Australia for 4 weeks, this was our last stop and it was refreshing to have good old fashioned home-style service, and a premium quality breakfast buffet! My tip, is to take their recommendations on everything, from tours, transfers and of course restaurants. Quality all round. 👌👌👌

Beautiful outdoor lounges and table and chairs. My one complaint would be their hair dryers…just a nozzle really with hot air. Other than that, I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel.
This is a lovely hotel in a great location…10-15 minute walk to the old town with restaurants and shops. The ocean views are wonderful with chairs all Ali g side in order to enjoy it. The ocean is reachable by a staircase…lots of stairs but I felt safe using them. Our room was large, beds and pillows were comfy. The room was cleaned every day. Breakfast which was included was delicious with lots of variety. The staff were all very friendly. Francesco is the bartender and was always there when we wanted a drink and snacks. He made great Mai Tais. There is a small pool…about twice the size of a hot tub. This little pool came in handy for me when I reached the top of the stairs from the beach…very refreshing. Upon arriving checking was very quick, we were provided a hotel overview and we were welcomed with a drink, the staff were very friendly. Great selection of breakfast, unfortunately we were not able to bring the food out on the wonderful hotel terrace, we had coffee on the terrace and ate inside. Great location with a 8 min walk to the city centre and hotel has a private stair case (180 steps) to the beach. I would recommend.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in diesem schönen Hotel. Das Zimmer war geräumig, die Terrasse mit dem Jaccuzi mit einem traumhaften Blick auf das Meer und den allabendlichen Sonnenuntergang gelegen. Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich und ausgesprochen lecker. Jeden Tag gab es unterschiedliche Specials. Der Service war herausragend. Die Lage des Hotels ist auf dem Berg. Der Weg in das Centro storico ist daher auf dem selben Niveau. Zum Stand sind es ca 190 Stufen, was anstrengen kann. Letztlich macht man das aber ja nur einmal am Tag. Die Aussicht entschädigt dafür mehr als genug.

The staff here was amazing, particularly Georgia who booked us into the most amazing dinner spots and organized a private cooking class for us! We walked everywhere here, it’s a lovely town and very safe. Breakfast was amazing and we loved sitting on the patio at night with our glass of wine. Our room was brand new renovated and it was large comfortable and clean, best shower ever, highly recommend.
