This was my second stay at this hotel. It remains a convenient location for Fort Drum. Very clean room and overall facility. Would recommend more lighting in the parking lot - very dark at night which is nice for sleeping, but just a little creepy to arrive late. Reasonable pet fee to bring my cat. Very pleased with free washing machines and dryers that were easy to use - as long as you bring your own soaps, etc. would have loved to have a continental breakfast, but having a kitchenette in the room is an excellent alternative especially for longer term stays. Would recommend and would stay again.

Enjoyed the stay i.t’s nicelyrenovated. Shower gets hot and beds are extremely comfortable. There is no continental breakfast however their store is open 24 hours with available breakfast food fl heat up or cook. The rooms are fully furnished with microwave, full size refrigerator, dishwasher with dishes and silverware to use and cook with and hot stove.It’s near Walmart, Dollar Tree, Arby’s, Dunkin Donuts and a few other shopping stores just a walk away.

We only stayed one night and I wasn't very familiar with the area. Staff was super friendly, the hotel was very quiet, and plenty of room (grass) for my dog to sniff and roam around. I loved the center right across the street - lots of dining and shopping options. There were also other dining options around if you didn't want what the center had. Didn't get a chance to use the fitness center, but I saw that it had a variety of equipment and I would have loved to try it out.

I didn’t take anything off my rating for this, but they do not serve breakfast. I did not see it listed anywhere as a perk, so I was not disappointed. Just wanting to make anyone aware. The facility is good. We’ve stayed here and at the one on Ft Drum base. The one on base was a bit better. The honor system of buying snacks from the cantina was weird. Anyone coulda taken the money I put in the unlocked drop box.

As we arrive in the entrance seemed clean take the elevator to our room piles of garage in the hallway. Next morning garbage still there. No one cleaned. Room okay but not great. Water pressure weak no hot water.

It was an okay place to stay for 2 nights. The bed wasn’t super comfortable which made for lack of sleep. The room itself had just been “cleaned” upon our arrival. As soon as we walked into our room it reeked of ramen noodles, assuming it was from the last guest. They could have at least sprayed something to make it smell better. That smell lasted the entire time we were there and was nauseating. For the price we paid per night just would’ve thought the room would be a bit better.

My only complaint about our stay here was that the toilet bowl had not been cleaned completely. Not bad, but a bit off putting. The rest of the room was nice and clean, beds were comfortable, and the freshly ground coffee was a great touch.

Very disapointed overall. Room is tiny, not what I am used to with a "suite". Not clean at all, toilet, shower, window, cooking station. Cofee machine was dirty also. Toilet is making a flush sound every 10min. The bathroom fan\'s making a ticking nose when it\'s off, annoying. Sorry but I won\'t go back there.

The room had Dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash for the shower! The kitchen had all the items…utensils, paper towels, toaster, and more! Friendly staff. Dogs were happy with the stay as well!

Staff was very nice however our AC in our room stopped working and it quickly became very hot and the hot water in the shower worked only for about 10 minutes.

It's simple and cozy. I was there to visit grandchildren, not for a scenic vacation, but upstate New York is gorgeous, even in winter. I like having a kitchen. It made life with little kids simple.

We were in Room 202. Directly above our room was constant pounding on the floor. Starting at 5am! Sounded like someone was continally stomping. Went down to the desk and was simply told "Sorry" This went on BOTH days we were there. Obviously we were not able to sleep, and would not return.

We liked we had free cancellation until one day before the check-in date. We also liked the location which was relatively close to a number of attractions in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I did not like the scratches on the bath though it did not make much difference. Sometimes we heard other people.

It's a good place to stay when I visit my daughter, who lives a little further north. The staff has always been very helpful and kind. The rooms have always been clean. I slept well and enjoyed spending time with (and away from) my grandchildren.

The Front Desk Clerk, Kelsey, was very helpful and knowledgeable. Awesome. I appreciated the cleanliness and secure atmosphere. Got a great night of sleep. Kelsey was the perfect hostess and is the reason I’ll be back.

I liked how quiet the area is. Also, when walked into the room I could see that it was clean and looked forward to jumping into bed for a good night sleep.

I loved the center right across the street - lots of dining and shopping options. There were also other dining options around if you didn't want what the center had. Didn't get a chance to use the fitness center, but I saw that it had a variety of equipment and I would have loved to try it out.

We only stayed one night and I wasn't very familiar with the area. Staff was super friendly, the hotel was very quiet, and plenty of room (grass) for my dog to sniff and roam around. Over all I was a bit disappointed with the term "long term stay hotel" and that it didn't provide an included breakfast. I don't remember seeing that description when I booked it and I'm pretty sure the cost would have been the same to stay at the Candlewood Suites a few minutes/miles away. The beds were very comfortable / ac system was wonderful / great quality tv / mini kitchen worked great I guess I'll have to call in advance to verify the amenities before booking online.

This was my second stay at this hotel. It remains a convenient location for Fort Drum. Very clean room and overall facility. Would recommend more lighting in the parking lot - very dark at night which is nice for sleeping, but just a little creepy to arrive late. Reasonable pet fee to bring my cat. Very pleased with free washing machines and dryers that were easy to use - as long as you bring your own soaps, etc. would have loved to have a continental breakfast, but having a kitchenette in the room is an excellent alternative especially for longer term stays. Would recommend and would stay again.

Hotel is tired and there is no complimentary breakfast as advertised on hotels.com. Also says pets welcome. Does not say $50 charge for one night with one dog. Mold in bathroom in all areas.

Enjoyed the stay i.t’s nicelyrenovated. Shower gets hot and beds are extremely comfortable. There is no continental breakfast however their store is open 24 hours with available breakfast food fl heat up or cook. The rooms are fully furnished with microwave, full size refrigerator, dishwasher with dishes and silverware to use and cook with and hot stove.It’s near Walmart, Dollar Tree, Arby’s, Dunkin Donuts and a few other shopping stores just a walk away.

My only complaint about our stay here was that the toilet bowl had not been cleaned completely. Not bad, but a bit off putting. The rest of the room was nice and clean, beds were comfortable, and the freshly ground coffee was a great touch.

I didn’t take anything off my rating for this, but they do not serve breakfast. I did not see it listed anywhere as a perk, so I was not disappointed. Just wanting to make anyone aware. The facility is good. We’ve stayed here and at the one on Ft Drum base. The one on base was a bit better. The honor system of buying snacks from the cantina was weird. Anyone coulda taken the money I put in the unlocked drop box.

My husband and I were impressed with the room. The kitchen was a surprise as it was fully equipped. We were also pleased with the little store that allowed us to get coffee and other items we needed. Coffee was delicious. We would stay again

My son and daughter-in-law and their child stayed in the room and there was a leak from the air conditioner that made the carpet extremely wet. They told the staff at the front desk a number of times but nothing was ever done. They stayed for a week and avoided the wet area.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but my stay at Candlewood Suites Watertown was honestly very disappointing. Carla at the front desk was kind and accommodating, and she was probably the only positive part of the experience. The room smelled terrible, like a closed unused room full of dust and mold. There were spider webs everywhere, flies inside the room, and the living room area smelled very bad, like it had not been cleaned or used properly for a long time. The curtains were broken, the windows were covered with dead flies and thick dust, and even the exhaust fan was packed with dust and dirt. It was obvious the room was not being maintained properly. The suite setup was also inconvenient because the AC and heater were only in the living room and barely reached the bedroom. I had to leave the bedroom door open the whole time just to get airflow, which made it difficult to sleep because the room kept getting too cold or too warm. I called the front desk to ask if they had a portable heater or fan available, but they told me they had none. Their only solution was to downgrade me into a smaller room while still charging me the same price. I was also surprised that housekeeping is only done once a week. I ended up getting sick with severe allergies and fever symptoms. I was visiting my military partner after 6 months apart, and this experience ruined our stay. I should have taken more evidence, but the staff already knows these issues exist.
