Nice location and property was nice and clean. Only problem was the hot tub (there are 3) which all were just warm. Mentioned this to the front desk staff and was told they “old” and would “reset” them. The following day they were still very inconsistent in the temperature.

Stayed here the night before camping in the mountains. Was a perfect spot, cozy lodge like feel, warm, lovely hot tub and heated pool, rooms had all the basics you need and a gas fireplace. Would stay again for sure!

The good - staff was nice, room was clean. The bad - hotub jets didn't work on all 3 hotubs and no air conditioning. Our room was super hot and couldn't sleep a wink. The small ceiling fan didn't help.

Covered parking garage is accessed via key card entry. Lockers for ski gear so you don’t have to haul it up to your room - required. If bringing bikes, must use bike locker inside parking garage that is a chain linked room accessed by keycard entry. Beds were comfortable, kitchen fully equipped with pots and pans. Lovely stay!

Such a beautiful resort. My room had a great Mountain View & was so spacious. Loved the 3 hot tubs and heated pool as well. Can’t wait to be back.

The hotel is located at the base of the ski area and is close to area shops and restaurants. It is surrounded by beautiful forest. The rooms are well decorated and have all the amenities for a long stay. The pool and hot tub area is very nice and parking is located under the property, which made it very easy to come and go during our stay.

Each condo is individually decorated and have variable views from the balconies. The staff was very helpful in assisting us to obtain a room with a better view than we originally had.The room was clean and comfortable. We made use of the heated pool and spa but only 2 of the three spas were open and the jets didn't work in the one in which we sat. The facility could use some updating but over all we were pleased.with our stay.

The rooms were amazing, with a full size kitchen, 2 bedrooms with 1 room had an attached bathroom. It was good enough for my family. However, what ruined it was the staff. One guy was very rude. We had a party of 5 families in different floors but we'd all get together in the lobby and hang out. The staff would always be warning us to be quiet even though there was another wedding party that made a lot more noise. Even during check-in while we were waiting for him to attend to an existing guest, he was quite rude to the guest and almost rolling his eyes and then taking to us. We asked if there are any other rooms and his response was NO... If the staff are not happy to work there then they should not be in the hospitality business. Other than that the property was great, even had 2 Jacuzzi's swimming pool and 2 BBQ gas grills. These grills were so clean as if they were brand new. The pool timing was from 10 am - 10 pm so wished they could keep it open longer. I'd recommend this property for the rooms itself. We enjoyed it but don't expect to much from staff. Only 1 guy was awesome and friendly.

Our condo was a decent size. We stayed in the Condo with a King bed and balcony. Unfortunately we were on the side where the workers driver through so it gor a bit noisy in the morning. We found clothes in the drawers from the precious guest so that challenged the cleanliness of the room for us. Also I was disappointed with the overall full service housekeeping while we were out. The only made the bed and didnt even restock toilet paper, towels or clean the kitchen/dishes. All staff seemed friendly for the most part. Not a bad spot in town at all. There is a trolley in the parking lot if you dont want to drive. We stayed for a week and saw first snow. No skiing on this trip.

We stayed in October so no skiing and only had a view of the parking lot. It’s a nice hotel but the carpet in our room was stained. The beds were comfortable. Mammoth Lakes are worth visiting. What a magnificent location.

We stayed at Juniper Springs Resort on August 31st for what was supposed to be a 2-day stay, but it turned into a nightmare. The first night, we discovered a mouse (possibly even a rat) in our room, which made it impossible to get any sleep. When we reported it, the management refunded the second night since we canceled, but only gave us 30% off the first night—even though we spent the whole night uncomfortable and disturbed. For a place that calls itself a “resort,” this was extremely disappointing. The experience felt more like staying in a low-end motel than anything close to a 3-star or higher property. Cleanliness and basic comfort should be the minimum standard, and unfortunately, Juniper Springs Resort failed on both. I would not recommend staying here.

The condo was spacious with a well equipped kitchenette, although a bigger coffee maker would be nice. Place was quiet in general but footsteps from upstairs could be heard. Good parking.

While we enjoyed our 1-night stay here, there are a few things to be aware of: the rooms are fairly dated, and the additional costs. We found our 1-bedroom suite to be dark, tucked as it was into a corner. There were numerous stains on the carpet, to the point where it appeared almost dirty. The couch and chairs were similarly stained and dated. There is no AC in the units, meaning a hot sleep, even with the screened window open. I was surprised at the additional charges for both parking and “resort” fees. Take these costs into account when booking, as they add quite a bit to your final bill. All up, a nice place and location to stay at, but some serious work needs to be put into modernising the whole hotel!

The room was in need of some updates, for sure. The TVs are old and do not stream and Juniper was kind enough to bring a cable box to the room. One TV (living room) needs three remotes to work. The carpeting was old and the floor actually felt like it moved and squeaked. The bed was way too soft and the pillows were lumpy. The fridge was too cold and the electric stove-top had a grill that was not working. Needless to say, I did not get good sleep at all. The staff tried to help me find another room but no go. I love the resort and will come back again. But this room really needed some TLC.

This was our second stay this October. One bedroom condo is perfect cozy size for me and my wife. Staff here are amazing. Very friendly, responsive to requests, and helpful. It's about a mile from the Village and town, so it feels more private. Noise from the pool can be annoying since its kept open until 10 pm. There's no A/C (for hotter days) or central heat (for colder days), so inside temperature is difficult to control. Plus, it depends which way the condo faces as far as having a breeze or no breeze and the windows don't fully open. Easy underground parking. Nice amenities. Love having a kitchenette with full refrigerator. Mattress is not the most comfortable but the linens are very nice.

Most of the staff was very pleasant, but one lady at the desk felt compelled to telephone my room and let the phone ring for 50 or 60 times, about 5 minutes straight, while I was on a Zoom conference with a customer which was simply uncalled for and rude I had already informed the desk I would be down to run my credit card again. (She also felt it necessaryto check my ID, AGAIN, to extend one more night). When I asked her about the weird phone behavior, she gave no apology at all. The next day, I walked to the front desk and asked another very nice lady for 1/2 hour late checkout to finish another call which she kindly extended. At exactly 11:23, the same anxious lady with the glasses phoned me to inform me it was 23 minutes past checkout. She didn't check with the rest of staff I'd already communicated with, she just felt compelled to badger me again. I went to the desk and again asked her why this inhospitable behavior was necessary especially since there wasn't a cleaning cart in sight on my floor. Very odd behavior, and left a bad taste.

Everything about our stay was great from start to finish. We arrived and were greeted by Kevin. He was extremely helpful and patient, and he was very helpful in helping us decide what to eat for dinner. He also suggested a few things to do that we eventually did the following morning. The hotel itself was very well kept, and the amenities like the pool were amazing.
Everything about our stay was great from start to finish. We arrived and were greeted by Kevin. He was extremely helpful and patient, and he was very helpful in helping us decide what to eat for dinner. He also suggested a few things to do that we eventually did the following morning. The hotel itself was very well kept, and the amenities like the pool were amazing.

We had the pleasure of being greeted by Georgia at the front desk, and she truly made our stay exceptional from the very first moment. She took the time to talk with us, making us feel welcome. Our stay at Juniper Resort in Mammoth was overall fine, but the front desk experience was disappointing. The first staff member spent a very long time with the guest ahead of us, which made check-in feel unnecessarily slow. Then, the second lady who helped us came from the back and immediately said, “sorry if I smell like garlic, I was eating”—unfortunately, she really did smell strongly of garlic, and it was quite unpleasant. Her attitude also felt a bit unprofessional; she kept insisting we don’t smoke or we’d be fined, which was unnecessary since we don’t smoke. The unit itself was okay but very dated. The shower soap dispenser was empty, and there were no pillows for the pullout couch. On the bright side, the maintenance staff were fantastic—10/10! They came quickly and kindly helped when our little one plugged the toilet. Overall, it was an okay stay, but the resort could really benefit from more professional front desk staff and better room upkeep.

We stay here several times a year. Disappointed this last stay. The room, the grounds, the hot tub: All excellent as usual but the staff was not The desk clerk at check in was visibly bothered when we asked for the upper garage to be opened AT 7:20PM!! He rolled his eyes, sighed heavy and said he would have maintenance manually open it. We have a high parking clearance vehicle and he told us to just “park across the street, the upper garage is already closed.” We informed him we paid for the services on the property. He was unprofessional. This will cause us to research other lodging options for our multiple seasional trips every year.

Juniper Springs resort was a great place for our family to stay. We enjoyed the suite room with a full kitchen and spacious seating area with a big kitchen table. The resort had a complimentary shuttle that we used to bring us over to the village. The driver was friendly and efficient. Overall this was a great place to stay and would definitely stay here again.

Loved being able to ski on/off at Eagle. Not a lot of dining options nearby, so have to drive or take the shuttle. The jets in the hot tubs weren’t working. However, everyone was lovely and it was generally very easy. We’d stay here again for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Juniper Springs Lodge. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and spacious. The location is really good and about a 10 minutes drive to the Village that has Shops and Restaurants.

Bon hôtel, avec une superbe piscine et des jacuzzi, très agréable pour le retour de randonnée. L’hôtel est un peu vieillissant, mais la cuisine est grande et pratique. Les restaurants sont assez loin (il faut prendre la voiture)

We stayed in a 1 bedroom Condo which was spotless and far more modern than the pictures of the room, it must have been recently done up! The kitchen facilities were brilliant and clean, I felt like we had everything we needed in order to cook a meal like at home. The bed was really comfortable and the bedroom being away from the front door meant that it was basically silent in the night which was a dream!! The pool area and hot tubs were lovely. There's no bar / restaurant on site but plenty in the area. If anyone is keen on stargazing, while you're in Mammoth Lakes be sure to head to Minaret Vista point after dark to see the milkyway and millions of stars! Must see!!

This place definitely deserves a second visit, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms have everything you could need. There is also an extremely beautiful view of the mountains and a very easily accessible parking garage. They even have their own door delivery option for many of the local restaurants so you don’t need to go out into the cold unless you want to.

Amazing 5 Star. Only issue was the fire pit was down. Other than that, absolutely love this place. Will be back in the future! Can’t beat the stocked kitchen, just bring food and drinks. Mountain views from our balcony was top notch. A deer was down below us eating grass. The heated pool and hot tub are A+ in the crisp Mtn air. My son asked if we could live here! They even lent us a board game one evening.

Not enough towels and wash rags. Need to upgrade tv’s to smart tv’s. Internet was terrible. check out instructions were ridiculous with the fees that are charged for each if not done.

Here is an honest evaluation:Pros:Location is fantastic for skiing. Right next to the Eagle Lift/Lodge.Pool and 3 Hot TubsUnit was cleanCons:Soft bed in second bedroom (really a den) and sofa bed in living room were not comfortable. Suggest putting a real queen bed in second bedroom.Basically only one towel per person. If you want more towels 25 charge. Ladies always want at least 2 towels.No body wash, shampoo and conditioner in bathrooms except for a tiny starter amount. Check out items all had crazy penalties.
