Das Hotel Wildbad Rothenburg ob der Tauber befindet sich in einem beeindruckenden historischen Gebäude, das an eine Burg erinnert und stellenweise mittelalterliches Flair vermittelt, zugleich aber viele neuzeitliche Elemente vereint. Architektur, Materialien und Dekoration lassen spüren, dass dieses Haus zur Zeit seiner Eröffnung ein ausgesprochen luxuriöses Erholungsziel war. Umgeben ist es von einem wunderschönen Park in traumhafter Lage. Ich hatte ein EZ für eine Nacht in der siebten Etage. Das Zimmer war eher klein und schlicht eingerichtet, bot jedoch alles Notwendige. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die außergewöhnliche Sauberkeit. Auch das Bad wirkte nahezu neuwertig – glänzende Fliesen, saubere Armaturen, absolut makellos. Das gesamte Haus strahlt viel Klasse aus und ist mit großer Liebe zum Detail gepflegt. Man fühlt sich wie auf einer Reise in die Vergangenheit. Das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine überraschend große und vielfältige Auswahl, insbesondere an Wurst- und Käsesorten – in einer Qualität und Vielfalt, die man in dieser Preisklasse nicht häufig findet. Die Mitarbeiter waren äußerst aufmerksam und freundlich. Nachts war es absolut ruhig – trotz meiner Hellhörigkeit habe ich hervorragend geschlafen. Heizung und Ausstattung funktionierten einwandfrei. Die Altstadt ist in wenigen Minuten über ein paar Treppen erreichbar. Ein besonderes Hotel mit Charakter, Geschichte und Stil. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt und komme gerne wieder!

Very good. Beautiful old building. Very quiet. Rooms clean. We had a balcony which was great, like being in a castle. The beds are comfortable if not high quality. Walk into town is ideal. Lots of steps but one you have done those, you are there! Free parking which was beneficial to us. If following sat nav, look out for sign on sharp corner which states hotel entrance. Hotel entrance is hidden and it’s a narrow private road into grounds. Breakfast sufficient. Great find!

큰 기대 없이 당일에 예약하고 갔는데 너무너무 좋았습니다. 천정이 높고 침대는 편하고 발코니로 나갈 수 있고 창을 열면 숲이 보이고 화장실은 작은 듯 하나 환기가 잘 되어 좋았습니다. 아침식사도 여유롭고 깔끔했습니다. 로텐부르크 관광만큼 호텔 구경이 흥미로웠는데 꼭대기층에 채플과 도서관(영화속에 나올법한 공간이었어요)이 있었고, 층마다 로비랄까 살롱이랄까 앉아서 커피를 마실 공간이 방들보다 훨씬 크게 준비되어 있었습니다. 그리고 숙박을 하면 근처의 온천/사우나/수영장을 무료로 이용할 수 있는데 그 곳에는 파노라마라고 큰 창으로 바깥 풍경을 보면서 사우나를 할 수 있는 곳이 있어서 너무 좋았습니다. 직원분들도 너무 좋으셨어요. 제가 묻는 것마다 친절하고 자세히 답을 해 주셔서 감사했습니다. 시내로 가는 계단을 오르는 것이 아주 조금 힘들었지만 숲 속 산책을 한다 생각하면 할만합니다. 하루밖에 머물지 못한 것이 아쉽고 다음번에는 일주일정도, 푹 쉬는 데만 집중하며 머물고 싶다고 생각했습니다.

Kult hotell, godt vedlikeholdt og har mange fine detaljer fra gammelt av. Fine store rom. Flott området og kort vei til byen. Obs svømmebassenget er en liten kjøretur unna.

Fantastisk smukt hotel i smukke omgivelser. Værelset var pænt og rent ligesom resten af hotellet. Morgenmadsbuffet var god, det samme var aftenmadsbuffet, dog lille som det også fremgår af spisekortet. Personalet var søde og meget opmærksomme på om alt var som skulle være. Minusser swimmingpool spabad m.m. er ikke på selve hotellet, og der er begrænset parkeringspladser, så kører du en tur er det ikke sikkert du kan få en p-plads når du kommer tilbage.

Almost a fairytale place with wonderful surroundings trails and Tauber river runs along with the hotel. Walk up a stairway easily to get into the town Rothenburg. A free sauna and swimming facilities in walking distance, it was a wonderful package we could not let it pass by without giving it a try! We love everything about this hotel, it will be a place to stay any time we come to this part of Germany!

The pool is not in the hotel. You do get a free admission voucher, but it is the town swimming pool which is a 10 min walk or a short drive away. The hotel is accessed by car via a winding road or quite ademanding

Gorgeous building and setting, walkable to historic Rothenburg, clean, attentive staff, nice breakfast - all adding to a pleasant overnight stay. Glad to have on-site parking but spaces were very tight.

Flot hotel, ret slidt. Vi havde booket en barneseng til vores datter, men der var ingen madras i, og da vi bad om en fik vi bare et tæppe at ligge i bunden. Vores datter endte med at sove i den store seng, til megen besvær fordi det var to enkeltsenge skubbet sammen, så der var en stor revne. Værelset var ret slidt og lidt beskidt. Da vi spurgte på anbefalinger til spisesteder fik vi ikke rigtig noget svar. Morgenmaden var hyggelig og med et fint udvalg.

I greatly enjoyed my stay here. The historic building and expansive grounds made for an intriguing location. The staff were friendly and the building environment was warm and immaculate. There was an extensive buffet for breakfast. It would have been nice if my room was a bit bigger (it was a single room) and had an upholstered chair in it for relaxation. It did have a table and chair, however, which was helpful as my time there was partly as a work get away. Other than the size, the room was very pleasant and comfortable. I hope to go back to Wildbad Rothenburg.

Beautiful place! Recommend using the address of the hotel as at night it is difficult to find since it is in the forest. The breakfast was amazing. We had twin rooms. The beds were very comfortable, but the rooms were pretty austere. We were on,y there for one night and found it to be a pretty cool place.

Very good. Beautiful old building. Very quiet. Rooms clean. We had a balcony which was great, like being in a castle. The beds are comfortable if not high quality. Walk into town is ideal. Lots of steps but one you have done those, you are there! Free parking which was beneficial to us. If following sat nav, look out for sign on sharp corner which states hotel entrance. Hotel entrance is hidden and it’s a narrow private road into grounds. Breakfast sufficient. Great find!

We had a wonderful time. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and very traditional German. The room was very large and warm for the winter weather. The shower water was very hot. The grounds are beautiful to explore. We felt like we were staying in a castle.

Mooie schone kamers met mooi uitzicht op de tuinen. Je waant je in de middeleeuwen. Ontbijt uitgebreid en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Centrum op loopafstand . Gezellig centrum. Wij waren er op zondagavond en kregen geen tafel meer vrij in een restaurant. Aanrader: vantevoren boeken.

Wish we had more than 1 night booked. Beautiful hotel and room. The American in me wishes there was AC, but luckily it wasn't unbearably hot. Staff was so friendly and the 24 hour drink and snack salon was really nice.

The hotel's architecture and grounds were amazing. Just beautiful. Around every corner something new to behold. 15 minute walk to town. Breakfast was exceptional lots to choose from. We had a twin room which was very basic considering the opulence of the hotel.

Check in times was only a four hour window which for traveling was not convenient. They sent an email stating the hours, however, my train would not have arrived by then. I never received an email back from the property asking what would happen if I did not arrive in time. Was not able to get a refund and do not find it acceptable that an answer was never received.

We had problems with bats in our room. Unfortunately there is no hotel personnel on the premises after 8:00 pm. We found an emergency number but nobody came to help and they said they didn’t have access to room key to switch room. With the help of hotel guest we were able to let the bats out. But it was well after midnight before we could use our room. They did refund our money in the morning. Also the breakfast buffet was excellent.

Dårlig skiltning ved indtjekning. Morgenmad og aftenbuffet var meget mangelfuldt og blev ikke fyldt op. Aftenbuffen var særdeles tarveligt. Startede kl 18.00 kl 18.35 gik de første og kl. /18.00 var begge lokaler tommer.

Fantastisk smukt hotel i smukke omgivelser. Værelset var pænt og rent ligesom resten af hotellet. Morgenmadsbuffet var god, det samme var aftenmadsbuffet, dog lille som det også fremgår af spisekortet. Personalet var søde og meget opmærksomme på om alt var som skulle være. Minusser swimmingpool spabad m.m. er ikke på selve hotellet, og der er begrænset parkeringspladser, så kører du en tur er det ikke sikkert du kan få en p-plads når du kommer tilbage.

Morgenmadsbuffet var god, det samme var aftenmadsbuffet, dog lille som det også fremgår af spisekortet. Personalet var søde og meget opmærksomme på om alt var som skulle være. Minusser swimmingpool spabad m.m. er ikke på selve hotellet, og der er begrænset parkeringspladser, så kører du en tur er det ikke sikkert du kan få en p-plads når du kommer tilbage.

We had a wonderful time. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and very traditional German. The room was very large and warm for the winter weather. The shower water was very hot. The grounds are beautiful to explore. We felt like we were staying in a castle.

We arrived late due to missing a conncection on the train and they were polite enough to wait late for us. They were very friendly. Food was great. Beautiful location and hotel. Very nice walk to the center. We loved it here.

We loved our stay at Wildbad, living like princesses in the castle and exploring the grounds. The hotel is in a quiet park in convenient walking distance to the city centre and medieval town. We also enjoyed very much their diner grill buffet, a very healthy option and great ambience, different to the local touristy places. Breakfast was excellent as well, would only recommend to change the plastic tea bags.

Gorgeous building and setting, walkable to historic Rothenburg, clean, attentive staff, nice breakfast - all adding to a pleasant overnight stay. Glad to have on-site parking but spaces were very tight.

Hotel mit einem außergewöhnlichem Ambiente. Das Zimmer war sauber, schlicht und zweckmäßig eingerichtet und das Frühstück lecker und reichhaltig. Parkplätze waren kostenfrei verfügbar und die Altstadt fußläufig erreichbar.

Well, our room felt like it was in the servants quarters or in an asylum, which actually was nearly correct because the hotel was converted from a convalescence home! The room was basic, no drawers or wardrobe, only 4 coat hangers and no kettle and being as it was a long way, and up many steps, from any kind of bar or reception area it was annoying not to have the ability to make a hot drink. The breakfast was nice, plenty of choice. There were 242 steps and 2 lifts to get from our room to the top of the hotel which is on the town level, so it's a good thing we're fit! Yes, you could drive up but then you'd have parking issues, the walk along the winding road would have been very long and steep so the steps were the better option. The grounds were very pretty and relaxing, the building was very impressive and had an interesting history and is definitely well positioned for a visit to Rothenburg obT. As a bonus guests can use the nearby outdoor/indoor swimming pools for free, which was great.
