Days Inn by Wyndham Greeneville

Room was in very poor condition. Bathtub was badly cracked in the bottom due to no support under it. Paint peeling badly in bathroom. Sink faucet handle loose and difficult to adjust water temp since it had a single handle. Toilet paper holder was broken. At one point the toilet tank didn't fill but then later did. ??? Assorted bugs were seen. Damaged wall behind entry door. You get the idea. On the bright side the parking area was well lit. We slept well even though the bed was worn and linens were made fresh both days we stayed.

Property is run down and needs to be torn down. No parking next to hotel. Really shabby but fairly clean. Tiles coming off the wall in the bathroom.

I walked into the lobby for check-in and the door is stuck on the tile. With a forceful push, im able to open it. It sticks again. The gentleman behind the counter stands up then answers the phone without greeting me or even giving me the apologetic, "One moment," mouthing that comes with the territory. He seemed aloof, hardly interacting at all. The room was very clean and all amenities were as they should be. It was a bit noisy because the building sits right beside a restaurant. That's not the fault of the motel, however. The adults that were staying in the motel had no decency while being outside of the rooms, either. Again, not the fault of the motel.

The hotel was under renovation but when i arrived there where burn holes in my blankets in a non smoking room the ceiling was cracked and falling in the bathroom and i lost power to the hotel room for over 5 hrs due to the renovation with no warning.

The bedspread has cigarette holes burnt in it the next blanket had diet on it.. there was not a light at the sink. There was hair on the towel, after, after cleaning after the first night there was hair in the shower. Only left one was cloth for 2 people. Office was under construction when you went to the window no one would answer. Very disappointing, will not stay here again.

They're remodeling you can tell. First room smelled like smoke even though it was supposed to be nonsmoking. The lights in the bathroom and sink area didn't work. So the lady at the front switched us rooms. Second room didnt have a working light in middle of room but it was better and didn't smell.

The building is not well kept. The lights blinked.

Property undergoing renovations. So hopefully the disorder will be cleared soon. It was disturbing to have been placed in the room where a HUGE construction trash container was placed in front of the window. No visibility to the PKG area or my car. This is a safety concern as well.

This hotel was terrible! It was under construction and they put us in a room right outside the dumpster. The room was partially redone, but there was no place to put our luggage or clothing, and no place to hang our coats. We asked for a luggage rack, but they said what you see is what you get. There were no tissues or hairdryer. The TV didn’t work, but at least they came to fix it The Toilet paper holder was busted. The only thing available for breakfast were some packaged muffins and coffee. What is Hotels.com putting a hotel like this on their website? Never again!!

This was the worst room I have ever stayed in, the floors were nasty, my socks were be black on the bottom just walking to the bathroom. The plaster on the walls was falling off ,all the lamp shades were nasty and stained, the smoke alarm was hanging off the wall, one of the lamps by the bed was leaning over like it was going to fall and didn't have a light bulb, There were multiple stains on the chairs and the ice machine didn't work. I would be embarrassed to let anyone stay in such a nasty place.

I would never stay here again. Our room had not been cleaned, dirt on the floor, toilet wasn’t flushed, food in the fridge, stains and CIGARETTE burns in the bed sheets/blankets in a non-smoking room. How would you even claim to clean something with those obvious defects? Front desk moved us to another room, did look more clean but still a very run down and dingy place. Holes all in walls, paint cracking. One of the worst places I have ever stayed in.

The room smelled horrible, the towels and bed and room were dirty. There was a hole in the bathroom wall. Looked like mold was in room. The moment I walked in the room I looked around and walked out and refused to stay in those conditions.

I dont like to do bad reviews, I just dont ! But..... Wyndham/ Days Inn needs to really really be Way More Paticular when grading this Facility. The room appeared clean when walking in except it Smelled bad! The bedding was Filthy with unsightly stains on the mattress pad, hair on the sheets, the towels were stained black and the toilet had urine on the back behind the seat, the shower curtain was dirty, the microwave had dust ( lots ) on top of it along with food exploded top, bottom and on the glass tray. inside. Perhaos this facility usually deals with folks who are Not too paticular about cleanliness.I say this based on what I witnessed in and around the prooerty.I have to give a thumbs up for very hot water but you need it to feel even the least bit sanitary! You could do a Heck of Alot Better Wyndham in atleast being clean!

Had bug bites all over. Went to take shower and noticed that was already used soap open in shower Wash clothes and towels was dirty. Stains on bed sheets

I ASKED FOR A NON SMOKING ROOM AND DESK CLERK ASSURED ME THAT IT WAS AND THE ENTIRE ROOM, BEDDING, AIR CONDITIONING FILTER, AIR -EVERYTHING REEKED OF SMOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!! There was a CIGARETTE BURN HOLE in the top sheet!!!!! There was NO SMOKE DETECTOR - the entire unit had been pulled off of the wall and the wires were hanging out. There were ROACHES crawling on the bathroom floor. The toilet seat had DRIED PEE on the seat and the bathroom smelled like urine. The SHOWER was SO DISGUSTING I wouldn't use it even though I needed one. The TOWELS were STAINED, YELLOW and smelled SOUR. There was STICKY SPOTS and RESIDUE on the nightstand and all of the table surface had dirt on them. I used disinfectant wipes on all surfaces and cleaned the stowaway cabinet under the TV (which yielded black dirt and dead flies) before I put my luggage in it. The handles to it and the entertainment center had STICKY DIRTY FINGERPRINTS on them. I used a paper towel to open it.The window sill had black dirt on it. The inside of the door close to the handle and the wall next to it had BLACK DIRTY MARKS the entire length of the door. JUST BREATHING now that I'm out of the room smells of smoke in my respiratory system. I have been sneezing all morning. I am an ADAMANT NONSMOKER and health conscious individual and am concerned about the health risk of breathing all the particulate matter that I continue to breathe and will be breathing for hours to come as it's TRAPPED in my respiratory system. I AM ANGRY!

There was no breakfast except for watered down coffee and a few cellophane wrapped muffins that were left out every morning. It appeared that they were working on some part of the building and there were always strange people just roaming around. We didn’t feel safe and moved to a different hotel for the remainder of our trip

Easy check-in process. The room had just been cleaned, and looked good.

The Wi-FI never worked. The walls were dirty. The lighting was very dim and places were ripped. A very uncomfortable stay. The staff was nice, but the place was just horribly maintained. I only stayed there one night

It was okay. Staff was friendly and helpful. But the room said "queen size" beds and they were barely doubles. Also, there was about an inch of open space between the bottom of the door and the floor. It was 5 degrees outside.

The TV didn't work. The heater didn't work but was fixed. The continental breakfast was six pre-packaged muffins for the whole hotel. No coffee or drinks of any kind. Sink was dirty, floors were dirty.

I felt like this property was misrepresented especially in the photos listed. I didnt feel safe staying there with my teenaged daughter. The room entrance was exterior and I had anticipated interior rooms. The road traffic was extremely loud and there were several trains that went by in the few hours we stayed. I felt like we were in an abandoned area of town. We ended up leaving because we just didnt feel safe.

when i walked across the room my socks were wet from moisture coming out of the floor an my room had a smell to it that wasn't pleasant

There was a governor on the hot water in the bathroom, so the water did not get hot enough for a good shower. Water was hot in the sink, but not in the tub.

Overall the room was good. The internet would not stay connected and the tv stopped working. I did not bring it to the hotel’s attention so I should take on part of that responsibility

This hotel booked my stay, then cancelled it without notifying me and still charged my card!! They are scammers and fraudulent thieves.

Check-in was very slow. They charged double the advertised rate for pets. The owner was rude when I pointed out that Hotels.com shows a different rate. The room had only a couple of lights working, very dim room. No smoke detector, a crack in the bathtub, the curtain was not hanging properly, and we had to keep adjusting for privacy. The room was grubby.

Noone at front desk and it was only 8pm. Could not even get into the lobby, had to speak to front desk through a window outside. Pended ove $100 as a deposit! Got to room and door to it would not lock. Room was small and had major damage to some of the walls. The guy at front desk was rude and not even polite. The breakfast they serve is not breakfast but just snacks. The pillows were not even regular size pillows. Would not recommend a stay here even at the price we paid.

They refused to honor my reservation which I had made for and paid in full three days before.

I had reserved the room and paid for it days in advance. When we went to check in, I was told my room had been canceled because the hotel was overbooked. I said I had already paid for the room, had received no notice of cancellation and we had driven a long way to get there. All of a sudden a room opened up because he had a cancellation. Got general scammy vibes from the person checking me in. This property was not up to Days Inn by Wyndham standards. It was dirty, had a lot of people conglomerated around that were very sketchy looking and just felt unsafe. Would never stay here again.

The bed was comfortable. The hotel was quiet. The shower head had good pressure. We had parking near the door. Staff responded quickly to requests. We did not have the breakfast.

The pictures on the website are not a good representation of what the outdoor area looks like. I arrived late and the area was kinda scary. They told me someone had kicked in a door a couple days before my stay. Made me uncomfortable to stay there even 1 night.

It was central to our activities owners were great people

Terrible place. The website said Breakfast included. That was muffins, coffee and juice. That was not my idea of breakfast. We had to ask for them to make coffee. There was one pkg of muffins finally. There was 4 in our party. Had to ask them to replenish everything. Not very friendly. The obvious entrance was locked. Room was dirty. Never stay at a Days Inn again.

sink was clogged had to brush my teeth and wash my hands in a clogged sink. iron board had no cover on it and the iron had a piece of toilet paper holding the water in. No breakfast.

Was only given 2 towels for 4 people, I asked for 2 more towels. I was given them. We stayed for 3 days, I asked for more towels before I left. I was told they would charge me. I told them to keep them. The top of the stairs was uneven, and unsafe. 4 towels for the entire 3 day stay!! Make sure to bring your own towels! Breakfast consisted of two mini muffins they had coffee and orange juice but I didn’t have any, it didn’t look like it worked!

Friendly enough staff though no one at front counter when checking out. Condition of the property is outdated, poorly maintained and dirty. Towels and sheets all stained. Breakfast was cancelled due to Health Department. Wouldn't have eaten there anyway due to cleanliness.

The room was very clean. The breakfast was less than thrilling. Basically they had coffee and pre packaged muffins. That was it. We ended up going out to breakfast instead.

Killed cockroaches in the night. Sink stopped up. No bath towels. No continental breakfast as was advertised. Heating unit did not work properly. Had to buy own pillows and sheets as theirs were nasty. Terrible experience

The morning coffee was the only good thing about the stay. The breakfast muffins were so stale we couldn't eat them because they crumbled. Totally crumbled.....
