The owner was pleasant and provided great recommendations for local dining. We will visit again.

My experience was less than warm and welcoming from the usual NC mountain fall getaway. This establishment is lacking the bare minimums to run an adequate, friendly B&B. The fireplace was barely on, on the coldest Thanksgiving day and days after. Never got a Good morning or Happy Thanksgiving let alone a Thank you for staying with us at checkout! Hot water for tea was a long drawn out process and normal coffee supplies were always out. Always had to ask for normal things that should have been readily available with a smile. This B&B appears to be running at a loss and was noticeable and discussed by other guests also.

It is a place where you can relax and be in a great environment. The mattress on the bed was not comfortable to me, but, probably adequate for most. The house was decorated beautifully and the sitting areas were comfortable.
