Comfortable, clean. Love being right on the beach. Elevators would be nice after toting 2 toddlers luggage up and down the stairs several time a day...but I know that's a big ask. But we would come back to this spot! The pool was great too.

Nice room, clean pool, clean hot tub, lots of lounge chairs around the pool. A highlight is that the property is very close to the ocean and we could see the ocean from just outside our door. We were able to walk to the water in a couple of minutes to dip our feet in. What we didn't like was that we were on the 5th floor and the place did not have an elevator. It was hard lugging baggage up and down the outside staircases. We helped others who were struggling to do so. While not having an elevator may be typical of many older hotels in the area, we recommend mentioning this in the hotel's description.

It was right on the beach. The stairs were a bit of a climb with all our stuff, but the view was nice. Once you make the climb over the sand dune, you are on the beach and can enjoy the ocean. This was our first stay here, and we would return.

Other than a slightly leaky toilet, it was great! Property even has Adirondack chairs at each unit. Which was awesome to watch the sunrise/sunset. And the beach was right behind our unit. I will definitely revisit this location again.

Right on the ocean! The front desk manager was fantastic, very nice and helpful. No elevator, so be prepared to carry luggage up stairs. Easy access to a beautiful beach, literally right outside the door.

The property is good, very close to the beach. The beach is really nice and quiet. We enjoyed convenience of the outdoor shower. What was very disappointing was the beds. Extremely uncomfortable, even my two kids could not sleep well. I hear they are renovating rooms, so maybe ours is still in the list. We drove a long trip and really wanted to sleep.

Super cute!!! My boyfriend and I stayed her for a week to get away. The room smelled nice, the area was clean, the AC was amazing, and fresh towels were delivered every other day (if not daily)! The beach is also extremely accessible, breath taking, and clean. The hotel kindly provided convenient beach showers to wash yourself and beach things. Definitely recommend!!!!

We were in 312. Condo was spacious for my family of 4. The kids loved the bunk beds. All of the beds were comfortable. The decks were nice with chairs. Back deck had a great view of the ocean. Unfortunately, the tide was high the entire time so there wasn’t a beach. There was a smell to the condo, we purchased a candle to help. The bathroom could use some TLC. Would be nice if there were essentials such as Salt, Pepper, coffee, etc. The pool & hot tub were nice & maintained.
We were in 312. Condo was spacious for my family of 4. The kids loved the bunk beds. All of the beds were comfortable. The decks were nice with chairs. Back deck had a great view of the ocean. Unfortunately, the tide was high the entire time so there wasn’t a beach. There was a smell to the condo, we purchased a candle to help. The bathroom could use some TLC. Location was very nice, I was charged 2% extra as after getting confirmation from Expedia my card company not sure why declined the transaction. They said merchant provided incorrect details . And when I called property they took care of it with 2% additional charges. 1) Coffee. Provided in room was substandard (Really horrible) 2) Water in bathroom had weird smell So overall it was just OK

It was amazing! Excellent view oceanfront 🏖️. I have not stayed in a lot of beach hotels but many & this by leaps & bounds was the cleanest I’ve seen!! Great time & views.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in the poolside doubles. The location is perfect it truly can’t get any better. You walk right onto the beach, which was beautiful. Our room was clean and spacious enough for two adults and one child. Our beds were made every day, and the cleaning staff ladies were super sweet and helpful. That said, there are several things that could be improved, and they’re deal-breakers for me, probably why I will not stay here again. The coffee machine was terrible, and the coffee itself was awful. The water from the sink and shower had a sewage smell, so we had to buy gallon water to brush our teeth. The toilet handle was broken; after flushing, you had to manually lift the handle back up, or the water wont flow back down. Lastly, the pillows were so thin and uncomfortable that it was hard to get a good night’s rest. Overall, the room was okay but could be much better especially for the high price!

Our TV did not work. We had to go three flights of stairs to go get batteries for the remote. You should have maintenance to fix things like this. Never got it fixed so we moved rooms when we did we checked under the beds to make sure we did not leave anything and it was dirty underwear. We get to the next room and there’s dirty socks. I’ve never been to a beach where we had to fight sandbags. I guess this place is meant for younger people. 70 years old and have to carry your luggage upstairs is too much. I guess I didn’t check into it enough. We were just meeting friends there. We will never be back sorry

We loved how close we were to the beach!!! Just steps and you we on the lovely beach!! The rooms were pretty basic but had everything you need. Our only complaint was the bed could have used a better mattress. The check in process was super easy and they texted me that our room was ready at noon with a door code and never even had to go to the front desk.

The location is right on the Hatteras beach with waves breaking almost under your deck. But the room, while in good repair and nicely clean was very small and Spartan. We expected housekeeping on Saturday and that didn't happen. The room amenities were the bare minimum. We liked the online reservation and checkin, but having to remember a 6 digit key code to get it the room proved inconvenient. On the plus side, the response to online messages was virtually instant. So a mixed bag. At the price, especially off season, more was expected.

Clean and comfortable room with ease of access. We enjoyed the stay and felt safe and secure while on property. There are a few noise issues with people above you as they have no idea how loud they can be to the people below but not extremely concerning to us. The room was large and had space but could use a table and chairs of some kind. It only had a lounge chair which served as a luggage rack honestly. We liked it overall.

We were super excited about this stay .. the apartment itself was clean and beds comfy however there was limited towels/clean sheets etc we had to virtually beg for a bed change.. the towels are tiny we could hardly get dry the tv didn’t work neither did the internet no personal service at all we never saw a soul .. not a warm welcome

Liked hearing the waves crashing at night. The view was nice. Too many fisherman right in front of our area to enjoy the beach without worry of hooks and fishing line. Never did find a " lounge" Small room , but that was our choice.

Reservation and check in process was very good. On site service was very helpful. Biggest negative is there are no elevators. A third floor room is a real struggle for a couple in their 70’s. Thanks to a neighboring guest, we managed. TV offers no major network programming in its hundreds of options.

Excellent management and staff focused on making our trip a great experience! Rooms cleaned every day! Which was important due to all the sand. Really A wonderful experience, while at the same time doing careful reconstructions of barrier wall after all the recent rain damage..

Checking in was VERY easy, as was checking out. Room service on 2 mornings, at 8:30 and 9 respectively, knocked and attempted entry without a chance to respond..which wasn't ideal. Also, we received a notice at 9:30 that "planned" bug extermination property wide would be occurring that day. If it was planned l, why wouldnt we have had a chance to prepare. This creates anxiety for many travelers. Having a compromised immune system, I am not supposed to be around these types of chemicals. Do I get the need for extermination? Yes. Just an observation and opportunity to maybe plan better.

We loved how close we were to the beach!!! Just steps and you we on the lovely beach!! The rooms were pretty basic but had everything you need. Our only complaint was the bed could have used a better mattress. The check in process was super easy and they texted me that our room was ready at noon with a door code and never even had to go to the front desk.

Checkin could not have been easier. Everything was done through text. Door access codes, pool code, linen exchange info, everything. It was so nice to ask a question and get an immediate response! They provide everything we needed. We didn’t even need to go out for anything extra! you could cook a 4 course meal as EVERYTHING was provided! Just bring your own coffee and creamer and your set. Cook your own breakfast, run the dishwasher with tabs provided. Wash dishes with the provided washcloth, strainer, dish soap. It comes with a full size oven, fridge, microwave. Couch, Arm chairs, table and chairs for eating. Everything was just so clean and comfortable, I really can’t say enough! The foot was on the ground for washing off your feet before going to your room, the clothes line with pins for wet stuff, the timber tech deck chairs and side tables in the front and Back! Really well thought out, well taken care of and amazing experience! We want to make it a yearly thing and come back for a week next time!

Exemplary responsive helpful staff! Nice rooms, well kept with ongoing general maintenance. Great property with many regulars each year. Beach issues right now due to storms but there isn't anything the property management can do about that piece.

Everything was done by text and email. No personal touch at this hotel. The room had a musty smell that was reduced during the stay. Not the greatest if you are on business as there is nowhere to work in the room. Excellent location on the water. Had to leave because of a major storm so did not get my morning walk on the beach.

The place has a great view but that's because it is almost a part of the ocean. I do not think the property will be there much longer before nature reclaims it. The beach is gone. There are giant sandbags in covering the beach in a last ditch effort to save the property. I was there less than 2 years ago and the beach was much wider with soft sand. Now you have to do gymnastics to get over the sandbags and to the beach. And the beach is mostly hard, broken shells. The houses near by are almost gone as well.

Outstanding ocean front hotel! However, there is virtually no beach area even at low tide. Sand bags make it very difficult getting to the beach.

Floor in kitchen was raised by 1/4” with a sharp surround. It was a major tripping hazard and my adult son sliced his toe open within an hour of arriving. Beach is eroding and the entire beachfront of the property is covered/blocked with sandbags. Strange layout with outside door opening directly into bedroom. BTW - cannot see the lighthouse.

Location is excellent with a great view of Cape Hatteras lighthouse, however, this area lacks in dining options, so it is VERY beneficial to take advantage of rooms/condos with kitchens. The rooms are clean with lovely beach decor, however, the king size beds are not the most comfortable (bc my bed at home is ridiculously comfortable, so I'm spoiled) and the rooms could really use a small table and 2 chairs for eating or card/game playing. There are no elevators at this accommodation so plan accordingly if you need an accessible room (there are no ground floor rooms, this is very well stated in all correspondence and in many places when booking . The pool and hot tub are clean and well maintained. There were no ice bucket liners in any of our rooms and some toiletry amenities were missing in a couple of our rooms. We also, never physically met with or saw an office person, but we didn't seek then our either. They use a coded door system instead of keys and they email/text the door codes ahead of your stay. For in season stays I felt the price was decent. Overall, it's a cozy little place to stay and a good value. Being oceanfront was a huge bonus!

Good stay, very clean, it seemed just redone/new. Right on the Beach just as advertised. Plenty to do up and down the main drag. Good coffee place across street. Highly recommend Orange Blossom Bakery!

Location was very nice, I was charged 2% extra as after getting confirmation from Expedia my card company not sure why declined the transaction. They said merchant provided incorrect details . And when I called property they took care of it with 2% additional charges. 1) Coffee. Provided in room was substandard (Really horrible) 2) Water in bathroom had weird smell So overall it was just OK

I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in the poolside doubles. The location is perfect it truly can’t get any better. You walk right onto the beach, which was beautiful. Our room was clean and spacious enough for two adults and one child. Our beds were made every day, and the cleaning staff ladies were super sweet and helpful. That said, there are several things that could be improved, and they’re deal-breakers for me, probably why I will not stay here again. The coffee machine was terrible, and the coffee itself was awful. The water from the sink and shower had a sewage smell, so we had to buy gallon water to brush our teeth. The toilet handle was broken; after flushing, you had to manually lift the handle back up, or the water wont flow back down. Lastly, the pillows were so thin and uncomfortable that it was hard to get a good night’s rest. Overall, the room was okay but could be much better especially for the high price!

The place is awesome. Beautifull, clean and calm beach without cars. The service is fantastic. Rooms are clean and confortable. The bed was way too soft for us. Room and cleaned every mornings very early and because the hotel is made of wood, this is very noisy. Lots of restaurant options around but not in the hotel itself.

Pool and hot tub were very nice, but construction on beach prevented us even seeing the ocean. Internet was very slow. Cable TV kept buffering.

Our stay at Lighthouse View was unfortunately not what we had expected. We were aware that beach nourishment work was taking place, as we received a 7 day notice before our arrival. However, we were already in the United States and on an ongoing trip when the notice was sent, so we did not properly review it at the time. We accepted the situation and found another beach to use, but the construction equipment starting as early as 7:00 a.m. was very disruptive and affected our stay. What was particularly disappointing was the response we received afterward. The property stated that we had been asked at checkout how our stay was and that we had not mentioned any concerns. This is not what happened. No one asked us how our stay was. The person at reception simply said “safe drive” when we left. We understand that the beach construction was outside the property’s direct control, and we also understand that their inspection after our departure did not find evidence of bed bugs. However, we feel that our experience and concerns were dismissed too quickly, and that their description of what happened at checkout was inaccurate. Overall, the stay was disappointing
