Our room was clean, nicely furnished and cozy.(smallish...but efficient use of space) We brought our dog (she has a small number of rooms set aside for pet lovers) and the property has a decent sized grass area for them to take care of business. This place reminds me of my grandparents camp by the lake...an abundance of chairs, shady overhangs and friendly folks having conversations outside. I'll make it a point to stop here again.

For the price, this was an amazing motel find! Everything was so clean, and in good condition! The rooms are small, but have everything you need in an overnight room. Two chairs outside each unit for relaxing and a very nice and well kept bbq area. Would definitely stay again.

Vera was great! We were traveling with a tow behind camper and decided to do a motel for one night. Vera took great interest in helping us find a place to park it next door as well as went out of her way to open a gate temporarily so we could carry in suitcases and a cooler in through a shorter route. Little extras like two bottled waters and a breakfast bar were nice. Even had decent coffee in our room!

Really weird arrival at the motel - note on door for Lorraine W. room 2 and 'Mary room 1'; all others, no more rooms available. Huh? The sign said open, but the office was locked. I went to the room, and there it sat - open with the key and my sales receipt to be signed on the table. The problem was that the office was locked, and I had no access to the ice machine. As for the room, it was all I expected, which was fine.

Really like the quietness and all the outdoor seating. Included a coffee pot, fridge and microwave. Also an ironing board with iron, a rarety. Booked another stay since I liked it and the price.

I liked the motel enough that I opted to stay there again during my return trip. The rooms are clean and comfortable, at least for a single traveler. The price is excellent for a room with a queen bed, with a small fridge and microwave in the room, along with a couple bottles of water for travelers. They have a tiny ice maker in the main office - barely enough for a cup of ice - but it was enough for me. There are places to eat nearby, and a grocery store about a mile away.

Drove up and Vera met me by the car!! She had the keys, receipt in the hotel room, with heater turned on since it was getting cold , WHAT SERVICE!! The room was clean, all the amenities, perfect for one night stay!

Very clean motel. Check in easy and staff was pleasant! Great motel with coffee and water with fridge and microwave in my room. Bed very comfortable. Remember, this is a motel and I’d recommend this place if you’re in Ely and on a budget!

This is a very nice motel with upgraded rooms. The room was larger than many, very nicely decorated, very clean, great shower and clean bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable. The price was very good considering how nice the room was.

This is an older property that is covering up overdue maintenance with "cleanliness." The smell of disinfectant was overwhelming but did not hide the holes in the wall, the patched ceiling, old curtain rod holes, worn carpet, vertical blinds that cannot cut the light from parking area, and the 52 decibel window unit set on low fan. The smell from the disinfectant was so strong it set my asthma off and we had to leave after 2 hours. There was nobody in the office when we checked in or left.

One of the worst stays of my life. Truly terrible host with such a bad attitude. Very unaccommodating and the room was filthy. Most uncomfortable night's sleep I've had in a long time.

Second time staying here. I chose the upstairs room with a view of the mountains and private balcony. Clean, quiet, and private with a nice breeze. Short walk to a great dinner/steakhouse. My new go-to place to stay in Ely!

We stayed at Rustic Inn on the upper level in a room that has a balcony w two chairs/table and view of the town. Our room was clean having a refreshing shower & the motel area was quiet especially after long travel day. A couple items that would make the stay better: having a Keurig coffee machine & extra pillows. There was a drip coffee maker that looked like it had seen better days.

Perfect roadside motel stop. Comfortable room. Plenty of dinner options nearby. A bit of hwy 50 traffic noise but the AC helped to drown it out. Price is right for a quick stop. We also visited the railway museum which is worth it.

Super nice place, Nearly perfect for budget oriented travelers. The only downside is that wifi speed was not up to par, we had a terrible time hosting a web meeting, has to go with our phone hot spot, which is not perfect but managed to get by.

I did not spend the night there. The AC didn't work. And they would not move me into another room. So when I asked her a refund, she called me a piece of c***, white cracker, told me that I had to leave or she would call up a few of her family and have meet beat up.

My stay here was excellent! Vera, the owner, is a true hostess. Very accommodating and all around nice woman. This is a woman owned/woman run business. The room was spitfire clean and the little thoughtful leaves ,(bottled water and granola bar), were a comfortable touch. I would definitely recommend Rustic Inn and will be staying here again when visiting the area.

I travel at least twice a year from CA to CO to visit my grandchildren via Hwy 50 & stay in Ely,NV. I used to stay at a local chain motel, but after staying at Rustic Motel, I’ll be staying there from now on. Price is great & I like the small, cozy atmosphere.

I liked the motel enough that I opted to stay there again during my return trip. The rooms are clean and comfortable, at least for a single traveler. The price is excellent for a room with a queen bed, with a small fridge and microwave in the room, along with a couple bottles of water for travelers. They have a tiny ice maker in the main office - barely enough for a cup of ice - but it was enough for me. There are places to eat nearby, and a grocery store about a mile away.

Owner, check in, room and parking were all excellent. The problem was Route 50 had an enormous amount of traffic right next to our room so the noise level was terrible.

Comfortable bed. Good location for walking. Walls are thin...could hear snoring and coughing from the adjacent room. Did not like the "no contact" registration.

Perfect roadside motel stop. Comfortable room. Plenty of dinner options nearby. A bit of hwy 50 traffic noise but the AC helped to drown it out. Price is right for a quick stop. We also visited the railway museum which is worth it.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Easy check in and out. Very clean and pleasant. Close to our destination which was the train station. In a busy street but our room was at the back and upstairs. Even had a little back deck for morning coffee.

Second time staying here. I chose the upstairs room with a view of the mountains and private balcony. Clean, quiet, and private with a nice breeze. Short walk to a great dinner/steakhouse. My new go-to place to stay in Ely!

Vera was great! We were traveling with a tow behind camper and decided to do a motel for one night. Vera took great interest in helping us find a place to park it next door as well as went out of her way to open a gate temporarily so we could carry in suitcases and a cooler in through a shorter route. Little extras like two bottled waters and a breakfast bar were nice. Even had decent coffee in our room!

Really weird arrival at the motel - note on door for Lorraine W. room 2 and 'Mary room 1'; all others, no more rooms available. Huh? The sign said open, but the office was locked. I went to the room, and there it sat - open with the key and my sales receipt to be signed on the table. The problem was that the office was locked, and I had no access to the ice machine. As for the room, it was all I expected, which was fine.

I went to Ely, Nv. from Prescott, AZ for a Motorcycle activity. The Hotel is in a part of town that is away from Casino Street Hotels. It is quiet and the rooms are beautifully decorated. The Manager is very Customer friendly. The rooms even have Reeses Candy treat to welcome a traveler and the coffee cups are porcelain instead of styrofoam.

I was very happy with my stay at Rustic Inn. It's a small, privately-owned older property. It's centrally located. The rooms are clean and quiet. I was especially pleased with the woman who owns the Inn - she was very friendly and helpful. I would happily stay at the Rustic Inn again.

We had the king bed ..suite it felt like, only issue was going up stairs, but had hand rails. Staff greeted us and was helpful. Ice room not open but owner shared her’s. Nice room with amenities.
