Good location close to bus and trains. room was very clean, Food in the onsite restaraunt was very good - dinner and breakfast. The onsite WIFI needs an upgrade as connection was spotty and not even password protected. As I was travelling for work I could not connnect any work devices to this network due to lack of basic security measures.

The elevator wasn't working which got us off to a bad start. The room wasn't very clean, especially around the edges. We needed to move a bed to access a single outlet. No USB ports. The room was dated, as was the property in general. Breakfast buffet was adequate... nothing special. The staff was very friendly and helpful and offered to help take our luggage up the stairs. The restaurant was obviously a popular place for locals to celebrate special occasions.

Our room was so nice, spacious and very modern. We had a wonderful stay. The only downside was the parking lot was very full because there is also a restaurant on-site, so we had some difficulty parking which was a little frustrating after a long day of travelling - but the friendly staff who helped us check in made up for it. It was also a tiny bit awkward walking through the restaurant to check-in and to get to our room (we had to lug our bags through the dining room) but it was so nice to smell the yummy food as we walked to our room.
Our room was so nice, spacious and very modern. We had a wonderful stay. Two carparks both good size, Warm friendly greeting all info given, lift to all floors Room was on the small size , bathroom ok size Bed very comfortable Shower good Wifi excellent Breakfast not included but could add if wanted to. Do to late booking as hotel originally booked had overbooked,and there wasn't much in the area at the time was rather pricey for what you got tbh. Location is close to the town center and a 3 mile walk to the kelpies along the river highly recommend doing so ! Would probably stay again if it was a bit cheaper (was at 95 when I wrote this review I paid 169 on the night I stayed!) .

On checking in we were on the 3rd floor but unfortunately the lift was out of order so we had to get the stairs up with our suitcases, my husband suffers with a bad lung so this wasn't very convenient for us, we dropped our cases in the room and went to ask if there was any chance we could get a ground floor room the lady on reception said this wouldn't be a problem but it would have to be the next morning straight after breakfast and she would have someone bring our cases down and put them in our new room.

We had a decent sized room on the ground floor with a king bed and a spacious bathroom. The room was a bit dark because the window opened to a fence but the bed was comfortable and the heater worked great like the towel heater in the bathroom and nice hot shower. Breakfast was included and good, we had dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent. Big parking place on property.

Hotel was clean and tidy. Room was spacious and not cluttered. Breakfast was buffet style and plentiful. All staff we spoke to were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would stay here again if in the area. Fantastic base for visiting the Falkirk Wheel and Kelpies.

First room was full of dust broken bed cracked mirror and door stopper. Went to reception and they where amazing giving us choose of 2 other rooms and getting the manager. Who was so apologetic and offered meals on hotel. However we where going out for food so have us a few drinks. 2nd room was a lot better although for some reason regular TV channels didn't work and a light was on in bathroom all night with no way switching off. Bed was 2 single beds pushed together. But where comfortable. Breakfast was really good but no sausages or continental but what was there was amazing and cooked well. Some staff and hotel need some customer service training esp lady on check out Would I return? Yeah although problem with 1st room nearly put me off the lady's we spoke to about it changed my mind. If housekeeping up their game and some staff. This can be our go to for when in Falkirk

Breakfast service and provision of things was very limited (ran out of plates, juice, no dairy-free milk options available, everyone had to put hands in to big bread bags to get the bread out which didn’t seem hygienic). Very shallow / cheap mattress and pillows, two single beds pushed together despite booking a double room. There was a decent bathroom which must have been recently done up.

Unfortunately I thought there were a few things that fell below expectations. Lots of hairs in the bath, on bed and towels. Breakfast and dining options very limited for vegan guests. The fire alarm also began sounding for several minutes, which was strange and not well communicated if this was a test. The hotel is in a good location but given the other points mentioned it was not comfortable enough to justify returning again.

Food is fab in this hotel but the rooms are awful dingy and run down, disgusting when I run my hand across the windowsill so much dust, made my son’s chest bad. Marks on the walls, hair on the sheets, wallpaper coming off, would not recommend staying here

The hotelnis a bit dated and tired inside and this is the same with the rooms. Staff were excellebt, but the place just needs a revamp and a sprice up asthisnis what lets it down. Its in a great licatin so feels like a lost opportunity. Beds were comffirtable but the room was tired and needed some tlc. Such a shame as the staff were excellent friendly and helpful

Having booked a superior room we had a window which was permanent closed by blinds a look through thr blinds only saw a yard room .number 79 A bed which i believe was 4 foot and had to go sideways at the bottom of the bed to get to the bathroom. After having said wasn't happy we were change to a better room

Hotel needs an update especially for the price paid for a very basic room. The room was very basic small and dated. Staff were lovely and the evening food in the restaurant was good. The breakfast unfortunately wasn’t. Cold food even though I was up very early for breakfast.

The bath plug wouldn't unplug after my bath. The walls were paper thin (I could hear next door snoring like I was sharing a bed with them!). The breakfast was unappetising and salty. I felt the room was chilly but I couldn't find a way to warm it up. There were three channels available on the telly. The pillows were flat and flimsy and there weren't any spare. The bed was in poor condition and fraying. The walls around the window were damaged with rawl plugs and holes. The room was poorly lit. I could go on. The only reason it's not 1 star is because the receptionist was fantastic, I got early check-in and she was extremely helpful and friendly. Well done that lady, you're doing a great job 😊

Close to some activities. The king bed was 2 twins put together, they were at different levels and this made the bed uncomfortable. If a mattress pad had been added it might take the gap and unlevel mattress better. They also put us right next to the parking lot and it was noisy when buses were picking up people.

Hot breakfast food was cold. Dinner menu was boring & bland. Fire alarm rang Friday evening at 21.30. We were on 3rd floor. Evacuated quickly only to be told false alarm but it shrieked loudly for a long time. Deafening in the bedroom! Saturday at 06.30 it went again. Shocked awake, quickly dressed & evacuated room but stopped within 5 minutes so returned to room but I feel like my hearing has been damaged. Hot breakfast food was cold. Dinner menu was boring & bland. Fire alarm rang Friday evening at 21.30. We were on 3rd floor. Evacuated quickly only to be told false alarm but it shrieked loudly for a long time. Deafening in the bedroom! Saturday at 06.30 it went again. Shocked awake, quickly dressed & evacuated room but stopped within 5 minutes so returned to room but I feel like my hearing has been damaged. Spent a night before and after my trip to the Highlands. Accommodations and dining were great. Since the elevator was out of service the first night of my stay, Charlie came to the rescue with our bags. He also went beyond the call of duty by providing me a fresh cheese and cracker plate late at night due to seagulls that ate our leftover chips when outside on the patio. Lol. Very kind and attentive service. Signed, Florida woman who enjoyed her stay.

Room was adequate, pillows were very thin. Staff was great, very helpful. The breakfast included was the same every day, not alot of choices. Their coffee has a burnt taste to it and was undrinkable. The dinner menu was the same every night, food was good, not alot of vegatables.

The bath plug wouldn't unplug after my bath. The walls were paper thin (I could hear next door snoring like I was sharing a bed with them!). The breakfast was unappetising and salty. I felt the room was chilly but I couldn't find a way to warm it up. There were three channels available on the telly. The pillows were flat and flimsy and there weren't any spare. The bed was in poor condition and fraying. The walls around the window were damaged with rawl plugs and holes. The room was poorly lit. I could go on. The only reason it's not 1 star is because the receptionist was fantastic, I got early check-in and she was extremely helpful and friendly. Well done that lady, you're doing a great job 😊

On checking in we were on the 3rd floor but unfortunately the lift was out of order so we had to get the stairs up with our suitcases, my husband suffers with a bad lung so this wasn't very convenient for us, we dropped our cases in the room and went to ask if there was any chance we could get a ground floor room the lady on reception said this wouldn't be a problem but it would have to be the next morning straight after breakfast and she would have someone bring our cases down and put them in our new room.

3 night stay. Friendly welcome. Room on 1st floor. Looking out the back so unfortunately poor mobile signal but free wifi. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Short walk into Falkirk. Handy for train station.

Two carparks both good size, Warm friendly greeting all info given, lift to all floors Room was on the small size , bathroom ok size Bed very comfortable Shower good Wifi excellent Breakfast not included but could add if wanted to. Do to late booking as hotel originally booked had overbooked,and there wasn't much in the area at the time was rather pricey for what you got tbh. Location is close to the town center and a 3 mile walk to the kelpies along the river highly recommend doing so ! Would probably stay again if it was a bit cheaper (was at 95 when I wrote this review I paid 169 on the night I stayed!) .

The room was fairly clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable. The hotel is in a very convenient location, with just a short walk from the Railway station and also a good walking distance along the canal to the Falkirk wheel. Breakfast did leave quite a bit to be desired. Again, it was acceptable. Only tour groups seem to have croisants, bagels or bread rolls, otherwise there is only sliced bread, for jams and making toast for beans and scrambled eggs etc. There weren't any cold meats or cheeses either and I didn't see fresh fruit every morning. If you want a big fry up with tinned tomatoes and haggis you will be in luck. It's not all negative. I did book 2 extra nighs and I would stay there again. It was OK for the price

Hotel needs an update especially for the price paid for a very basic room. The room was very basic small and dated. Staff were lovely and the evening food in the restaurant was good. The breakfast unfortunately wasn’t. Cold food even though I was up very early for breakfast.

Unfortunately I thought there were a few things that fell below expectations. Lots of hairs in the bath, on bed and towels. Breakfast and dining options very limited for vegan guests. The fire alarm also began sounding for several minutes, which was strange and not well communicated if this was a test. The hotel is in a good location but given the other points mentioned it was not comfortable enough to justify returning again.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was just what we needed with bath and shower. The restaurant at the hotel was ace, local people come to eat and they book up, the menu is wonderful and the food taste amazing. They have a function room for party which we didn’t see but saw people use. All broad is bed and breakfast is a Scottish breakfast buffet, the kitchen staff will also make different types of eggs, which was great as am lactose intolerant.

Room was clean but dated. Carpet jamming under the door so couldn’t fully open room door to get in or out. One of the hallway sections on the ground floor smelt very strongly of something undesirable. Staff friendly enough and food was fine.

The staff were extremely helpful and understanding. The room was clean but a bit cold. They immediately brought me a portable heater and all was well. The buffet was full of variety. Had a very enjoyable stay! Highly recommend.

The room was ok, quite basic but clean. The staff were very helpful and polite. I didn't rate the breakfast, tinned fruit, nothing fresh. The croissants were very dry and so were the rolls. There wasn't a very good selection of breads, for example just brown or white, no sourdough offered and it was all basic, nothing really fresh or different. The hot selection was very average, the haggis was very sloppy and the scrambled eggs were cold on the first day, better on the 3rd (we ate elsewhere locally on the 2nd day). There was no food or snacks available at the bar, however we were told this was due to having been cleared out by people staying the previous night, but I was disappointed they hadn't re-stocked it during the day.
