Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt! Das großzügige Familienzimmer hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Großer Pool, der auch Mitte September noch geöffnet war. Zentrale Lage, in 15-20 Minuten ist man mit dem Auto in Siena oder Colle di Val d‘Elsa, in weniger als 10 Minuten am Stadttor von Monteriggioni. Toskana Feeling pur! Einzig beim Frühstück gibt es noch Luft nach oben - bitte mehr Auswahl an Brot, den alten Toaster gegen ein neues Modell tauschen (es dauert einfach ewig und man steht Schlange für eine Scheibe Toast) und gern auch vegetarische oder vegane Optionen anbieten in Zukunft.

Beautiful property, very nice pool, and great spa/sauna area. Breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. Would've been nice to have property shuttles to be taken around but we managed with taxis from Siena area.

Sono anni che frequento questa struttura con la famiglia ed è sempre piacevole tornarci. Camere decorose e molto pulite, personale gentile e disponibile, zona piscina comoda e ideale per i bambini. Ottima la colazione a buffet e il servizio ristoro a bordo piscina è stato migliorato. Consigliato anche per la vicinanza a Monteriggioni.

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes und sauberes Zimmer. Das Personal war überaus freundlich. Die Poolanlage verfügt über bequeme Liegen und genügend Sonnenschirme. Das Restaurant ist schön und die Speisen waren ganz hervorragend. Der Barkeeper war super und hat sich total gefreut, wenn man sich mit ihm unterhalten hat. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut, aber die Säfte aus dem Automat waren wässrig. Der Kaffee war ok. Das Hotel bietet gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Nach Monteriggioni sind es mit dem Auto ca. 5 Minuten. Zum Laufen wäre es nicht weit, aber man muss an der Straße entlang laufen - nachts nicht ganz ungefährlich. Insgesamt haben wir unseren Aufenthalt wirklich sehr genossen und können das Hotel bedenkenlos von Herzen weiterempfehlen.

Hotel nella media, niente di particolare, camera comoda e pulita, colazione a buffet nella media. Ho provato la spa in esclusiva per 80 min., ma non è un’area riservata, c'è il.passaggio di gente che credo vada in palestra. Il bagno turco era impraticabile, troppo caldo anzi bollente, la vasca idromassaggio con acqua leggermente fredda, comunque un'esperienza non di mio gradimneto.

Hotelzimmer in die Jahre gekommen, Frontoffice muss kundenorientierter agieren.... Frühstück schwach.... am Pool finden ständig Parties statt, auf Kosten der Liegen für Hotelgäste, die dann keinen Platz zum Liegen finden...

This stay was perfect. Location was out and alone but the property was safe and comfortable. Clean pool, nice breakfast and luxurious rooms. I would go back again in a minute! We all loved our stay here.

2* Hotel aber sicher kein 4* Hotel. Für 130 Euro die Nacht eine Frechheit. Einzig positiv und 5 Sterne für den sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Herr an der Rezeption und die sehr gute Zimmerreinigung. Zimmer: Erbärmlich, keine Lüftung im Bad bzw. funktioniert nicht, kein Mülleimer im Zimmer, man muss alles in den kleinen Badmülleimer werfen. Terrasse seit Jahrzehnten nicht gereinigt, altes Laub und Dreck, kein Tisch und nur ein Stuhl draußen (für ein Doppelzimmer). Matratzen steinhart und unbequem ohne Ende. Außerdem Zimmer extrem hellhörig. Uralte Einrichtung, leider nicht nostalgisch und romantisch alt, sondern nur alt. Im Zimmer zur Begrüßung zwei billige Plastikflaschen im Kühlschrank. Ein 4* Hotel sollte hier eine Glasflasche mit zwei Gläsern anbieten und dazu einen Keks oder Gummibärchen legen, nichts davon ist hier vorhanden. Keine Infozettel im Zimmer zu WLAN, zum Hotel, zu Aktivitäten in der Region, kein "herzlich willkommen" Zettel, nichts. Kein Wasserkocher mit Tee oder löslichem Kaffee im Zimmer, für 4* eigentlich selbstverständlich. Dusche ist für Zwerge, aber nicht für Menschen. Frühstück schwach, nur 1 Käsesorte, kein Brot, keine Semmeln, nur Toast vorhanden. Kein Frischkäse, keine Margerine, keine Tomaten, Gurken etc.. Es gibt Eier aber keine Eierbecher, die heißen Eier pellen wird dann eine Herausforderung. Keine Mülleimer am Tisch. Das bisschen was es gibt schmeckt aber gut. Pool ekelhaft verdreckt, Zigaretten Stummel im Blumenkübel. Parkplatz ungepflegt.

I was supposed to stay here for seven days eight nights and from the first look of it the room that they gave me did not even have a window air conditioner was broken place was super dirty so I went to the staff to try to get to see if they can refund me the money they will not even do that. I called Expedia Expedia trying to dispute, the cost honestly, I would not recommend anyone to stay at this place. It’s too far from the sites. It was awful.

L'hotel il Piccolo Castello è una struttura deliziosa a due passi da Monteriggioni. La piscina è il punto strategico dell'hotel, l'area andrebbe potenziata con più servizi, soprattutto la zona bar. Buona e abbondante la colazione. La stanza da bagno che ci è toccata in sorte avrebbe bisogno di una messa a nuovo, soprattutto la vasca che presenta parecchi segni d'usura.

Il Piccolo Castello è una sicurezza. Ci andiamo da anni e ci siamo trovati sempre bene. Camera spaziosa con affaccio sulla piscina, ben tenuta e pulita. Ottima la colazione. Invoglia a tornare. E poi la vista su Monteriggioni è impagabile.

Very nice and charming facility. Kind and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Excellent restaurant. I would have appreciated softer and more comfortable beds. Otherwise it is a wonderful hotel in a beautiful setting.

This is a “tired” hotel with an unfriendly staff, good food in the restaurant and in a good location if traveling by car. Proper maintenance is lacking such as missing or broken parts on doors and windows. And we had a hard time open the closet door. This is a very pet friendly hotel and I almost tripped over a dog laying on the floor at breakfast. We got to see a nice dog fight in the lobby and listen to a happy poodle barking at people as they walked by during lunch. We reserved the hotel through Expedia, along with 12 other hotels, during our travel in Italy. This is the only hotel that never returned any of my messages through Expedia. When we arrived, desk person was very nice. They had a wedding going on so I had to park in a field behind the hotel. Other front desk people were not very helpful. The wait staff had “snooty” attitude. We would not stay here again.
This is a “tired” hotel with an unfriendly staff, good food in the restaurant and in a good location if traveling by car. Proper maintenance is lacking such as missing or broken parts on doors and windows. And we had a hard time open the closet door. This is a very pet friendly hotel and I almost tripped over a dog laying on the floor at breakfast. We got to see a nice dog fight in the lobby and listen to a happy poodle barking at people as they walked by during lunch. Abbiamo soggiornato una notte . Posizione comoda poco distante da superstrada. Parcheggio e servizi in generale buoni. Unico neo il wifi che funzionava a singhiozzo. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt! Das großzügige Familienzimmer hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Großer Pool, der auch Mitte September noch geöffnet war. Zentrale Lage, in 15-20 Minuten ist man mit dem Auto in Siena oder Colle di Val d‘Elsa, in weniger als 10 Minuten am Stadttor von Monteriggioni. Toskana Feeling pur! Einzig beim Frühstück gibt es noch Luft nach oben - bitte mehr Auswahl an Brot, den alten Toaster gegen ein neues Modell tauschen (es dauert einfach ewig und man steht Schlange für eine Scheibe Toast) und gern auch vegetarische oder vegane Optionen anbieten in Zukunft.

This hotel is unique, clean, and has amazing with restaurants on site. The breakfast is a buffet style with big selection of fresh options. Had dinner at the restaurant as well and absolutely everything we ordered was on point and delicious. The staff was super helpful, nice, and welcoming. The only bad part was that my stay was for a very short time. The courtyards are so beautiful. I will definitely plan to stay here in a near future

Agréable séjour dans ce bel hôtel avec bonne prestation piscine , bar snack et restauration du soir. Par contre, on entend les voitures. Et malheureusement notre chambre était mal insonorisée et proche de l’ascenseur de service et de l’entrée du personnel donc nous avons entendu des bruits de chariots jusqu’à 23h30. Et à 7h30, nous étions réveillés . Dommage pour un établissement de ce standing .

2* Hotel aber sicher kein 4* Hotel. Für 130 Euro die Nacht eine Frechheit. Einzig positiv und 5 Sterne für den sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Herr an der Rezeption und die sehr gute Zimmerreinigung. Zimmer: Erbärmlich, keine Lüftung im Bad bzw. funktioniert nicht, kein Mülleimer im Zimmer, man muss alles in den kleinen Badmülleimer werfen. Terrasse seit Jahrzehnten nicht gereinigt, altes Laub und Dreck, kein Tisch und nur ein Stuhl draußen (für ein Doppelzimmer). Matratzen steinhart und unbequem ohne Ende. Außerdem Zimmer extrem hellhörig. Uralte Einrichtung, leider nicht nostalgisch und romantisch alt, sondern nur alt. Im Zimmer zur Begrüßung zwei billige Plastikflaschen im Kühlschrank. Ein 4* Hotel sollte hier eine Glasflasche mit zwei Gläsern anbieten und dazu einen Keks oder Gummibärchen legen, nichts davon ist hier vorhanden. Keine Infozettel im Zimmer zu WLAN, zum Hotel, zu Aktivitäten in der Region, kein "herzlich willkommen" Zettel, nichts. Il Piccolo Castello è una sicurezza. Ci andiamo da anni e ci siamo trovati sempre bene. Camera spaziosa con affaccio sulla piscina, ben tenuta e pulita. Ottima la colazione. Invoglia a tornare. E poi la vista su Monteriggioni è impagabile.

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes und sauberes Zimmer. Das Personal war überaus freundlich. Die Poolanlage verfügt über bequeme Liegen und genügend Sonnenschirme. Das Restaurant ist schön und die Speisen waren ganz hervorragend. Der Barkeeper war super und hat sich total gefreut, wenn man sich mit ihm unterhalten hat. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut, aber die Säfte aus dem Automat waren wässrig. Der Kaffee war ok. Das Hotel bietet gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Nach Monteriggioni sind es mit dem Auto ca. 5 Minuten. Zum Laufen wäre es nicht weit, aber man muss an der Straße entlang laufen - nachts nicht ganz ungefährlich. Insgesamt haben wir unseren Aufenthalt wirklich sehr genossen und können das Hotel bedenkenlos von Herzen weiterempfehlen.

The kids enjoyed the pool, it is a relaxing setting but the service could be a lot better. They certsinly dont make you feel appreciated for booking theough discount sites like expedia. Discounted service on discounted price, but the breakfast menu deserves praise.

When our travel plans changed, we were very lucky to get two room at this hotel. A one night stay made us wish we had booked a whole week here. The hotel is easy reached, being only a short distance off a main highway. The rooms were large and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in checking in/out and arranging dinner for us when we arrived late. All in all, a great stay and close to our travel goals in Tuscany.

Beautiful property, very nice pool, and great spa/sauna area. Breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. Would've been nice to have property shuttles to be taken around but we managed with taxis from Siena area.

I was supposed to stay here for seven days eight nights and from the first look of it the room that they gave me did not even have a window air conditioner was broken place was super dirty so I went to the staff to try to get to see if they can refund me the money they will not even do that. I called Expedia Expedia trying to dispute, the cost honestly, I would not recommend anyone to stay at this place. It’s too far from the sites. It was awful.

The hotel is easy reached, being only a short distance off a main highway. The rooms were large and comfortable. Abbiamo soggiornato una notte . Posizione comoda poco distante da superstrada. Parcheggio e servizi in generale buoni. Unico neo il wifi che funzionava a singhiozzo. Colazione di discreta qualita e scelta. Buon rapporto qualita prezzo. Anche il ristorante risulta di un buon livello forse con prezzi non troppo in linea alla qualità. Giudizio generale positivo

What a lovely stay! Perfect for a roadtrip around the Tuscany! Breakfast and service is great! we left at 6am before the breakfast started and they did a special breakfast to -go for us.

This hotel is unique, clean, and has amazing with restaurants on site. The breakfast is a buffet style with big selection of fresh options. Had dinner at the restaurant as well and absolutely everything we ordered was on point and delicious. The staff was super helpful, nice, and welcoming. The only bad part was that my stay was for a very short time. The courtyards are so beautiful. I will definitely plan to stay here in a near future

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes und sauberes Zimmer. Das Personal war überaus freundlich. Die Poolanlage verfügt über bequeme Liegen und genügend Sonnenschirme. Das Restaurant ist schön und die Speisen waren ganz hervorragend. Der Barkeeper war super und hat sich total gefreut, wenn man sich mit ihm unterhalten hat. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut, aber die Säfte aus dem Automat waren wässrig. Der Kaffee war ok. Das Hotel bietet gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Nach Monteriggioni sind es mit dem Auto ca. 5 Minuten. Zum Laufen wäre es nicht weit, aber man muss an der Straße entlang laufen - nachts nicht ganz ungefährlich. Insgesamt haben wir unseren Aufenthalt wirklich sehr genossen und können das Hotel bedenkenlos von Herzen weiterempfehlen.

Camere pulite personale cortese colazione????? Chi tardi arriva nulla trova. Diversi vassoi vuoti, perché le cose esaurite non venivano sostituite. La nostra camera affacciava verso il bosco, però non è presente all'esterno nessun tipo di illuminazione.

This stay was perfect. Location was out and alone but the property was safe and comfortable. Clean pool, nice breakfast and luxurious rooms. I would go back again in a minute! We all loved our stay here.

Il Piccolo Castello è una sicurezza. Ci andiamo da anni e ci siamo trovati sempre bene. Camera spaziosa con affaccio sulla piscina, ben tenuta e pulita. Ottima la colazione. Invoglia a tornare. E poi la vista su Monteriggioni è impagabile.

The staff were excellent, the accommodation clean, the gym was very good. The pool was quiet magnificent. When we arrived we were concerned that it wasn't possible to easily walk to Monteriggioni. However the receptionist was able to provide a walk that avoided the awful road. The room was very dated. Dark & somber. Breakfast was a very Italian! (Very questionable quality) In the evening the restaurant music was irritating as it reverberated in our room until late. I had to ask for it to be stopped - especially as there wasn't anyone listening to it! As a non smoker I was initially pleased that smoking wasn't permitted, but as with all things Italian, this wasn't actually true. People were smoking by the pool and on the communal terraces. And, finally, we ended up with our room in the middle of a family who needed two rooms. The family from hell. The children screaming, swearing, spitting food on the floor, throwing clothing & shoes from the pool. We had to complain to reception. This did calm the family from hell a little. However this completely ruined our stay. We found ourselves having to go out to avoid this awful family. So what was supposed to be a special stay turned out to be a huge disappointment.

Vi hadde et veldig hyggelig opphold! Rommet var stort, fint og komfortabelt, og aircondition var et stort pluss. Betjeningen var utrolig hyggelig og hjelpsom, og vi følte oss godt tatt vare på. Vi måtte reise før frokosten startet, men hotellet var så behjelpelige at vi fikk med oss en lunsjboks til reisen. Veldig god service og en fin avslutning på oppholdet. Anbefales!

The rooms are a little dated, with a strong smell of damp. But for the few nights we stayed, it was acceptable and comfortable. The receptionist wasn't particularly friendly. The breakfast is good, and the pool is nice. The location is lovely.
