We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved sitting out on the the balcony. It was very relaxing and the weather was perfect. Normally when it gets dark we would have to go back in the room but this time the bulb on the balcony was replaced and turned on when it got dark. It's all about the little things that make a difference.

Good location. Nice sized room. Pool open till 11pm. Neither ice machine was working. They sell ice. Had not seen that before. Breakfast was coffee, juice and Nuti Grain bars. No seating.

We stayed 8/19 to 8/23. The first night the tv didn't work, they did fix that the next day. The elevator didn't work and we were on the 3rd floor. The room was clean and comfortable.

Charming motel. Our room had a lovely private balcony. A table and two chairs made it easy to eat a quick dinner in the room as needed and the balcony was excellent for morning coffee. The hotel was very quiet. My only trouble was that the air conditioner had an old-fashioned dial control and it was hard to get a comfortable temperature dialed in. I had to turn it down much lower (i.e. warmer) than expected or else got too cold at night. This is very minor and I am anxious to stay at this hotel again in the future.

Noticed a group of about 8-10 raccoons hanging out at the rear of the hotel. I think patrons on the first floor may be feeding them. I'm pretty sure they also scuffled with a skunk around 4:00am and the smell drifted all the way up to the third floor. Some may see the wildlife as a bonus. Otherwise the room was nice. Traffic noise from main road was an issue I took care of with ear plugs.

Room was not swept mopped or vacummed before or during our stay. Sheets and pillow cases were on inside out. There were dead bugs and food that looked like it had been there for awhile. Had a nice sized balcony with chairs, and all was dirty. Could not use it.

Upon arrival to our room we were greeted by none other than roaches!!! The room was outdated, stunk and dirty. Other guest before us had left their personal stuff left behind in the room. Will not be staying here ever again.

Unfortunately we were not told ahead of time that the elevators were broken and has been since the end of August. I know it's been broken that that long because another traveler told me. Also the room on the 3rd floor, with the rocking chairs, was closed because they had to put their cleaning cart in there. I stayed in the same room that I did about 6 months ago and I couldn't believe the difference in the room. The carpet was so nasty and stained, the chair at the desk had all the vinyl peeling off, the bathroom ceiling had lots of mold, the hanging card that talks about using towels twice was stuck up in the bathroom ceiling between tiles, there had to previously been a large dog because the door separating the rooms has large scratch marks and the pillows need replaced. We did enjoy sitting outside watching the scenery and wildlife. Since I've stayed here previously I already knew to bring cleaner and rags to clean the chairs and table outside. I'm just really shocked with the difference in this motel in a short amount of time. I really hope that measures are taken and not just the same response that I have read in previous reviews. If I stay here again I will definitely ask to see the room first. I'm really hoping I see an improvement because I've been coming here for at least 15+years. It just takes management making sure certain things are getting done correctly.

The place is very outdated with the bathroom sink as the exception. It didn’t look like the room had been vacuumed in a while. The smell of the room was bad. Burn marks in the bed covers. Some kind of residue crusted on the night stand. Very dusty. Shower head was crusty and a bit of hair left in the shower.

The positive: staff that we dealt with were friendly. I asked for extra towels and all he had were pool towels, though. We did not use the pool. Our river view balcony was not what it was hyped up to be; though the 8 or so raccoons we got to talk to was admittedly fun. The balcony left little to be desired; i would not sit in the chairs at all. Little table was worse. Bed was hardish but comfortable. Seemed clean but i didn't want to investigate too hard. Floors were absolutely disgusting though. I would not recommend walking around barefoot. Shower had black mold, and something I can only describe as dried blood on the "conserve water" sign. Never turned on the air because they were gross; I was afraid to see what blew out of it. Mini muffins and coffee in the lobby were it for the "free breakfast". How this hotel was rated an 8 on hotels.com is beyond me. We will not stay there again.

Room itself was decent, the beds were nice and the carpet was decent and not worn. Bath tub and shower was rough, needs to be updated/replaced. I did see 4 cockroaches in the room at night though. Not cool! I told the front desk and they said they would get exterminator out.

The first room we were given smell so bad that we could not sleep. We went to the staff first thing in the morning and reported that there was a terrible urine odor in the room and we were moved to another room. The carpets in the 2nd room were visibly dirty/stained in numerous places, but it didn't smell bad so we made due. On the morning of our departure, we spotted a roach running up the curtain. I reported it to the front desk and showed them a picture of it, but was told that it was probably random.

Every piece of the property was dirty. Corridors, elevator, carpet, doors, curtains, bedsheets. Room was stinking. I was coughing when sitting on couch. Door knobs don’t work as expected on the first try. Breakfast doesn’t exist. The option saying breakfast included was totally deceiving. A total overpriced property.

It is an older hotel close to the highway which wasn’t a big deal earlier in the week but the weekend was so loud, also they only had grab and go breakfast. Cereal bars and oatmeal crème pies most of the time and occasionally mini muffins. It was a big room though like a 2 bedroom apartment so was a great size for our family.

For what we paid we weren’t expecting it to be amazing. The pictures on the website do make it seem like it’s in better shape. Check-in was easy but room wasn’t great. Cigarette burn in the comforter, bathtub faucet dripped the entire time, walls could use a scrubbing, and patio and patio chair were dirty. If there were quiet hours they were not enforced. The ability to close doors in between beds was a nice to have. It was ok. Good location to doing things.

I've stayed at Super 8 quite a bit now and everytime I stay, it's relaxing, and peaceful. Everytime I check in the same woman is always there and I'm upset I can't remember her name because she is absolutely AMAZING lady. She's always smiling and great with small talk. Shes an older lady with shoulder length white-ish gray hair, and shes probably 5'1 or 5'2, and I'm assuming she works the mid shift. Anyways you have hit the jackpot with that wonderful lady. She's one of the main reasons I continue to book with that same hotel (Super 8 Winfield Dunn Parkway) and the other would be the rates of your rooms. Everything is always nice and clean and I truly enjoy it. One thing I would love to see you guys get and that's a snack vending machine. Just one on the second floor would be perfect.

I did the pre check in with my id and credit card which it said would make check in much quicker. No it was not. I had to give my id, my credit card and car information as I had already completed online. I told the girl at the desk I had already completed everything and she said it didn't matter she needed to do it. What I had done online meant nothing. The front desk staff were great. We were told there would be breakfast the next morning. We did not expect it to be a lot but there was only apple and orange juice. When we got to the room the smell would knock you down. It was like the room had been closed off for a while. We did go to the Dollar General close by for Lysol and room freshener. The place is in need a several upgrades. I know the taxes and fees added a lot to the bill but it was definitely not worth the money we spent. Could be a nice place if they put some effort into cleaning it up and fixing the breakfast areas instead of broken chairs and empty boxes thrown around the room.

Stayed here previously and lady at check in was great and room was ok. This stay the guy at front desk was not friendly at all. We saw a few roaches in our room. Glad our stay was 1 night only then we switched hotels. Property is noisy if you stay in the beds upfront bc of traffic. The road in front of property is busy.

Experience would have been great but the Lady and the front desk just wasnt very helpful 😕 but Matthew and leon were awesome anytime we called were more than willing to help out in any shape or form you guys keep up the good work and for the lady at the front desk i know your job you deal with alot of people but being nice goes a long way

Our stay at this hotel was overall pleasant, especially given the unbeatable price for the area. We loved the room setup, which had a separate door for the kids' area. The balcony overlooking the water was a nice touch, and spotting a few raccoons and cats around the property added some charm. Super 8 was great on price, and I thought I'd give it a try for trip to Gatlinburg for a bridge tournament. Arrived pretty late on Sunday night. Clerk was polite, attentive, and very personable . . . making great impression for my stay. Room was adequate and clean. Would recommend this hotel if you are on a budget and need basic service in prime location.

We stayed on the third floor, the balcony there had a great view. We sat in the rocking chairs and enjoyed it every night. We will definitely return, less congested, friendly and accessible to convenient store and fast-food restaurants.

We enjoyed the convenient location of this hotel. We did not want to stay in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg due to the traffic and crowds. Sevierville was close enough to all the activities we did. This is a budget hotel so don't expect anything more. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable and we liked that the two bedrooms were separated. We also enjoyed the patio looking out to a creek and wildlife. We brought our own food for breakfast. The only real negative is that the walls are super thin so road noise was a problem in the front room. We had to buy earplugs for our daughter. We could also occasionally hear noisy neighbors. Another negative is that alot of guests smoked on their patios and in many outdoor spaces so we had to put up with the gross smell of secondhand smoke outside of our room.

I chose to stay here do to the price. The room was very spacious, the pool was just what we needed. Office personnel was over and beyond helpful with a reservation issue. They helped me as well as hotels.com to resolve it. My only issue is, and its no fault of Super8 because again i chose to stay there, is that its pretty far from the attractions and restaurants.

The check in person was not very friendly but tge person responsible for moving us 3 times because of bathroom ceilings leaking was very nice. They said breakfast was offered but it was coffee, juice and packaged muffins. Not a real breakfast. The doors should be thicker on such a busy road. Has huge potential.

Good for the price. Didn’t have an actual breafkfast, they offered mini bite muffins and nitro grain bars. The shower and tub were water stained and streaked with a little mold on the ceiling, but the remainder of the room was clean and the sheets were clean and bug free. Staff was attentive, (we needed extra towels and rags, as well as fresh sheets on one of the beds). Overall not bad considering what we paid for it.

I love this hotel. It was my second stay. I will be back. The only disappointment was they closed their breakfast room. I had to eat a yucky cold sandwich for breakfast. Had no ice delivery but sign said no ice for coolers. Other than those inconveniences, I had a comfortable stay.

The property is old and run down. The rooms were very dirty. It was either ice cold or very hot in the room, there were no thermostats and the wall unit was old and noisy. My Wife had to use Lysol wipes on everything just to sit anywhere. The "continental Breakfast" was aplastic bag of mini muffins from Sam's Club and your choice of apple juice or orange juice. DO NOT BELIEVE THE PICS>>>VERY MISLEADING. We would never go back!

Every piece of the property was dirty. Corridors, elevator, carpet, doors, curtains, bedsheets. Room was stinking. I was coughing when sitting on couch. Door knobs don’t work as expected on the first try. Breakfast doesn’t exist. The option saying breakfast included was totally deceiving. A total overpriced property.

Somewhat disappointed but ok for a one night stay. One of our main selling points was the balcony and the river view. It was so grown up you could barely see the river. The bed didn’t look like a true queen size, and everything seemed not quite dirty, but not quite really cleaned either. The staff were so nice and welcoming and everyone we encountered was friendly. The location is more quiet and central. Close to Buc-ee’s with Tennessee Shine and coffee right next door, and not far from the heart of pigeon forge. Not sure if we’d ever stay again, but overall not terrible, just a little disappointing.

The lady that greeted me was somewhat friendly but the morning staff was rude when I spilled my coffee. I was told they had muffins in the morning and all it was a package with 3 little muffins in it. What a joke. The room was the strangest layout I'd ever been in with 2 beds in 2 different rooms with a bathroom in the middle. It worked out ok because we had our grandkids with us. But the carpet was filthy, the tub needed to be cleaned and the balcony plastic chairs looked almost black but we're actually white so I assume they have never been cleaned... disgusting! I have stayed in much much nicer hotels for a lot less too. Wouldn't recommend.

When checking in they still had that covid shield up from 5 years ago and I couldn't hear the clerk nor could she hear me well. Still had masks are voluntary if you are vaccinated. Clerk was not friendly. Room layout was nice, only thing we liked about it. Room was dirty. Bed spreads had mutilple stains all over. Bathrooms were not cleaned well and everything was old and run down. Their continental breakfast was a pack if mini muffins out of the hostess box and some orange juice or coffee. They shouldn't even advertise breakfast. They didn't even have 4 towels in the room for 2 queens and when we went to ask for more towels they said they didn't have any more.
