We enjoyed our stay, the staff were pleasant and the rooms were clean however you do have to request for your room to be cleaned so keep that in mind. There was parking in a multi story car park next to the hotel Friday-Monday was £70 but if you give the hotel your ticket to scan for discount it was £24 which was helpful!

As expected from CitizenM fast check in and out. Room as expected. But this place had a problem with the lift. 1 of 2 was out of order and there was lots of time waiting for the lift. If there were stairs I could not find them. Ruined a good stay

The hotel has very comfortable beds. Only one lift was functioning the entire time I was there. Failure to provide a water boiler in the room is an inconvenience to guests who want coffee or tea without having to dress and go out. Reliance on gadgetry to operate lights and temperature may be trendy, but it is not user-friendly!

Lifts were not working properly - one was out of order and the other kept missing my floor! room was ok - but could link apps to watch on the TV so could only watch live tv and couldnt access TV guide so had to flick through all channels

The parking and parking ticket validation sucks. Should be better explained at check-in. Wasyed time having to go get parking voucher from public parking garage and walk back to hotel to get it validated....

Loved this hotel apart from one thing. The lifts. There were only two and one wasnt working. A d to make it wirse there was no sign to say sorry this lift isnt working. Stairwell was not easy to find.

Staff neglected to tell me I'd get one parking nearby much cheaper because of their deal with the parking owner, so I almost ended up overpaying massively. Luckily I parked in the one they had the deal with. And trust me, parking in Glasgow is obscenely expensive. Is the idea to have visitors leave as soon as possible? If yes, that's a clever solution.

We enjoyed our stay at Citizen M. The King bed was comfortable and the bathroom and AC worked great. For some reason the TV was difficult to operate and there was only one lift working in the hotel which made getting up to our room a bit slow. Overall a good stay.

Disappointed by no tea and coffe making facilities. Shower curtain needed a wash or replaced as it was smelly. Bed up against the window and very high off the floor. Not informed about validating car park ticket, staff not aware this could be done where we parked. TV didn’t work and had to be looked at by staff, they came very quickly to sort out. Everything worked by using iPad supplied. Seemed more like a supermarket self checkout experience than being treated like a guest.

Check in was very impersonal, had issues with doing the sell service, the girl at the desk did help us but the whole check in procedure wasnt the best. The room was nice but it wasn't the cleanest. The bottom and top of the bed was covered in hair/dust and didnt look like it had been cleaned. When getting ready to leave this morning, we noticed that the actual duvet was black with mould but the cover hid it. The pillows are very uncomfortable and 1 small pillow each wasn't enough and the actual bed wasnt the comfiest. We had been recommended this hotel but both my wife and myself werent overly impressed. The guy on reception asked how our stay was when checking out and when i tried to let him know about this, it was ignored and he just left it at "have a good day". Really dissapointed considering its not the cheapest hotel around.

Room was clean, breakfast was great. Staff are friendly and it’s handy to the bus station. The TV and lights are controlled using an iPad. The TV never worked the whole time I was there using the iPad but I found the remote in the drawer so I did manage to watch a few tv shows. The iPad also doesn’t allow you to turn off individual lights.

Pleasant but not for me. Room was smaller than expected and smaller than most others. Clean. Comfortable bed. Noisy as no way to turn off the bathroom fan. Disturbed my sleep significantly. TV was not great. No normal terrestial channels like BBC1. Those available were streamed and poor delivery. Frequently down and gave up trying to watch a film.

Our room was extremely hot. We had our air conditioner set at the lowest setting and it never cooled off enough to get any sleep. Otherwise, our stay was pleasant.

Good hotel in a great location. Hotel was very clean and comfortable, although rooms are very small if you have big luggage. Tons of dining options and also the train station is a 5 minute walk, very convenient. Only downside is once in your room, everything is run off an iPad (lights, blinds, tv). The iPad had issues and we had to get staff to reset it twice. Staff was great in doing so, just not ideal after long travel days.

Super stay. Rooms far too hot! No real air conditioning. This is second stay where the temperature in the room is unbearable at night. No fans available. No windows that open. Spoils an otherwise great stay.

Nice kinda funky hotel in an excellent location. Walkable to bus and train stations. Room is small but efficient- the bed is up against the window so the person near the window has to climb over the other person to get out. Everything in the room runs off an iPad. The lights. The blinds. The blackout curtains. The TV. There are mood options and lights. No kettle or coffee in the room. Breakfast was excellent - served on the first floor which serves as a restaurant, living room and workplace during the day. Bed was firm but comfy. Staff very nice. There is construction out the back but it was quiet as it seems like the heavy work Was done.

No real selection if tv channels, no movies, this was something offered before and was still advertised when searchrd. Made being in the room more like a prison cell. Not great. Good sleep though very hard to control temperature of the room.

Totally decent place to stay for the price. Rooms are very small and the bed is surrounded on three sides by walls, so it's awkward to get in and out of. I would stay there again.

Modern, minimalistic. Location was fabulous for visiting Glasgow Wonderful breakfast options at a reasonable price. Casual lounging areas are inviting & esthetically pleasing. Friendly staff. Only downfall was the temperature in our room; it was too warm despite having the setting on the coolest option. Management didn’t help. But did bring us a fan. Couldn't offer another room due to full occupancy. Everything in room is managed by a tablet which is limiting.

The staff from reception desk to restaurant/bar to housekeeping were all excellent, helpful, friendly during my whole stay. Two key staff were brilliant, Anton - he was friendly, approachable and gave hints and tips of places to see and go as a newbie in Glasgow. Also, the lady (sorry forgot her name) who accommodated me with a conference room for my job interview.

From arriving at the hotel the modern nature of it felt refreshing. Then when we went to the bar and spoke with Deneeze she knew her stuff, explained the brand and made great suggestions of places to go for food. All the staff were amazing and we will definitely return to CitizenM both in Glasgow and elsewhere

Check in was a disaster with the electronic check in terminals. Odd experience. Check out was super slow - 1 staff member on the desk and had to wait 20 minutes to get my suitcase back from storage. See previous review for other issues.

Hotels is perfectly located with everything in the city center within a couple of minutes walking, including Buchanan Bus station which is just 300 meters or so from the hotel. This also where the airport bus stops.

Check in very smooth. All done on ipad. Receptionist very helpful with a nice manner. Room spotless and very quiet considering located on front. Did struggle a bit with at first as everything controlled by ipad. Paid extra for breakfast but have had better choice of cooked items. Did not see any gluten free options, although to be fair I didn't ask. Hotel is quirky and is well located for all amenities.

Hotel common areas were nice, check in was easy but the rooms are tiny with little to no space to hang clothing. The area where the hotel is located is central but was loud, dirty and didn’t feel very safe. To be honest staying in Glasgow this time most areas we walked about in didn’t feel very safe, having been to Glasgow a lot this was the first time I’d say I wouldn’t be in a hurry to come back.

Breakfast tea and coffee systems need attention. For tea you need hot not tepid water and present system gives only tepid. Try a one cup boiler? Good idea to offer barrista coffee but one person is inadequate to meet demand. Lots of frustrated people with hot breakfasts getting cold. This is a workflow issue not a criticism of the barrista.

Great hotel and amazing staff and service. We arrived late night after a long train ride and we were very excited to find dining options at the 24hrs restaurant within the hotel. The drinks were great and the lounge is amazing to chill out. The mood lighting and the iPad control in the room was fun and very unique. We had a king room so our room was quite spacious. Will definitely be recommending this to others visiting Glasgow.

The hotel is quirky and modern but the rooms are small and badly set out. The bathrooms is glass pod with just a shower and toilet in them. The sink is in the main living area! The bed is big but one person has to climb over the other person to get to the toilet as you only have access to one side. The iPad controlling the everything was a pain. The breakfast was poor for the price. The options for warm food was limited with only, sausages, scrambled egg, mushrooms, tomatoes and beans, which were luke warm at best. It said it did bacon but there wasn't any and there was still an hour of breakfast left. It said it had croissants also but none were left. I mentioned to a staff member and they kindly offered me a refund.

Fantastic stay - wasn’t sure about the concept before I arrived but the iPad to control the room worked well, the bed was super comfy and for a solo traveller, plenty of room. Absolutely lovely breakfast and staff were solicitous and kind. Would return.

Liked how you got to pick your room at check in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were spotless. The only bad experience was no tea/coffee in room so had to pay £7.50 at bar for a tea and cappuccino!
