Rundown Lumber Yard area, that is being renovated to accommodations. Parking lot was a little ruff, outside didn’t look that impressive, but the accommodations inside were very nice.

Super cute place to stay. Service was great. It has a wonderful indoor-outdoor restaurant right there in the same parking area. Great food. Its less than a 5 min drive to the beach which was wonderful. Close to the casino if that's your thing. Outlet mall down the road. I would definitely come back!!

Fun little spot full of personality. Cool outdoor bar and grill right nextdoor, and another donwn the street. On the way to the beach. The beach was about at 10-15 minute walk. Really cool little getaway.

Our room at Bridge Inn was clean and the perfect size for couples. It had a small kitchen with a coffee machine, toaster, and utensils. The location was a 10-minute walk to the beach, restaurants, and outlet mall. The best part was there was a bar and restaurant located there as well.

The Bridge in a cute complex of buildings. While you can indeed see the bridge from all 3 buildings, it is not exactly the water view you will be looking for, BUT the place is very convenient to Indiana Dunes, the staff was great at communications, the apartment was quite comfortable and equipped with coffee, tea and even hot chocolate! They even provided ear plugs, but the trains were not a problem so we never used them! Loved the Paya shampoo and lotion. While we enjoyed dinner elsewhere, I think the atmosphere alone would be reason enough to try the Bridges Cafe in the complex!

It was awesome! The room was spotless! I don't normally take baths at hotels but the huge tub was spic and span so I got to soak my tiredness away that night. Since a bigger room with a balcony was available they upgraded us to it, complimentary,and checked us in early! We were worried about the train and big but it was fascinating to watch and the noise didn't bother us at all ! Wonderful place to stay.

Clean and comfortable. Suite had a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Coffee packs provided but you might want to bring better coffee and filters. Nice have coffee on the balcony in the morning, or a drink in the evening. We'd stay again if visiting the area.

The accommodations were fantastic and the suite was quite clean. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchenette and bathroom were nicely stocked with necessary items. The only negative comment has to do with the trains that run directly behind the building. The sound of the running train, the whistle and the alarm happened several times in the evening and once in the morning. Thank goodness they don't run through the night. Overall, a cozy stay.

Check in process was simple - everything prearranged with personal numeric code for access to the room. The suite was clean, well appointed, and beds were comfortable. Two single beds in our room - don’t know if all the suites are like that. The hotel is in two buildings, obviously converted - sit near an old bridge near the shore (hence the name). The windows were OK but not much of a view (but not a deal breaker). New Buffalo is a short 10 min drive away (we were visiting family there and that’s why we stayed). I would definitely stay here again.

I did not actually stay here, but my customer service experience with them is my reason for this review. I had booked a stay for one night in this charming looking tiny inn, and was contacted a few days prior to our planned stay by the manager or owner, Anna, who informed us that unfortunately due to HVAC issues she would have to cancel our stay. She offered us either a discount off of a future stay, or a 50 dollar credit to the Bridge restaurant next door, and we took her up on the latter. She recommended a number of nearby places to stay instead, and we wound up getting a cheaper room at the Blue Chip casino nearby, and used our fifty dollar credit on some good drinks and typical Americana appetizers. Will definitely stay here if in the area again.

Rundown Lumber Yard area, that is being renovated to accommodations. Parking lot was a little ruff, outside didn’t look that impressive, but the accommodations inside were very nice.

Super cute place to stay. Service was great. It has a wonderful indoor-outdoor restaurant right there in the same parking area. Great food. Its less than a 5 min drive to the beach which was wonderful. Close to the casino if that's your thing. Outlet mall down the road. I would definitely come back!!

We were here off season so pretty quiet but perfect for what we needed. Able to walk downtown to restaurants. Visited near by Indiana Dunes National and State Park.

Could not ask for more. For the price, the rooms were spacious. Hotel is located near shopping, restaurants, and of course the beach! Wont be disappointed!

Fun little spot full of personality. Cool outdoor bar and grill right nextdoor, and another donwn the street. On the way to the beach. The beach was about at 10-15 minute walk. Really cool little getaway.

Our room at Bridge Inn was clean and the perfect size for couples. It had a small kitchen with a coffee machine, toaster, and utensils. The location was a 10-minute walk to the beach, restaurants, and outlet mall. The best part was there was a bar and restaurant located there as well.

Very friendly and helpful. Near everything we wanted. Clean. Was worried about the Industrial area. Not very pretty. But only a few blocks from the park. lake and arts district. We were there during the off season, so I'm sure it would be better in the summer. Would stay here again!

The room was clean. Staff was helpful and communicative. Quiet area, at least during off season. The deck area was nice. Short walk to the lake front, about 15 minutes. Lots of dining options within walking distance. Could use a bigger tv for night time relaxation.

The Bridge in a cute complex of buildings. While you can indeed see the bridge from all 3 buildings, it is not exactly the water view you will be looking for, BUT the place is very convenient to Indiana Dunes, the staff was great at communications, the apartment was quite comfortable and equipped with coffee, tea and even hot chocolate! They even provided ear plugs, but the trains were not a problem so we never used them! Loved the Paya shampoo and lotion. While we enjoyed dinner elsewhere, I think the atmosphere alone would be reason enough to try the Bridges Cafe in the complex!

Got to meet the owner herself and she even went above and beyond and brought us fresh clean towels herself instead of us waiting until the following morning when housekeeping came. Very pleasant stay and would recommend to family and friends

only small thing…. room was very clean…! Only thin the shower tiles need scrubbing mold/mew-dew… not much but hey you wanted to know…. Other wise all perfect… not a big deal!! 😎

The area is in fact cute and nice. However the images used for the room you are booking might not be the actual room you get. I specifically booked based on the fact that it showed the yellow building with the room I chose having the rounded out section with a table in the rounded it section. I also picked one that claimed water view. While I could technically see water from my view it was a different building from the yellow one and farther back away from the water. Upon arriving I called the number provided to check in and they picked up to then not say anything. I called back it rang for a while longer then one again picked up and I could hear them in the background just not answering the phone until the 3rd time I called after leaving to get food because I was hungry. Other than that it was a nice room and the jacuzzi tub did work. Just slightly disappointed for sure.

Overall, it was a very cute and fun place to stay in Michigan City, with its proximity to Washington Park Beach. The room was well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kitchen sink, and a smart TV. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained, so it was pleasant. We especially loved the deck chairs for chilling, on our deck as well as by the docks. The Bridges waterside grill and bar was a convenient place for us to get food and beverages when we couldn't venture far. We will definitely come back to the Bridge Inn when we visit Michigan City in the near future!
