The Brewer Motor inn was not new, but everything was squeaky clean and the staff was smart and helpful. We ate dinner at the attached restaurant, and the food was delicious, reasonable, and ample. If you're really hungry, order the meatloaf. Breakfast was modest, but more wholesome than many hotel breakfasts, with real milk and choices of fruit. I strongly recommend this place. It appeared to be a family run operation and you can really tell the difference.

The quilt on the bed was very pretty. I was traveling with my dog and there was a big field behind the building to walk her in. The staff was very friendly and kind!

This was not a 5 star hotel, but also didn’t claim to be. This was one of the least expensive options of the very overpriced options available in Bangor / Brewer. I read some very bad reviews about this place and some good ones- we were very pleasantly surprised. Our room was spotless and spacious. #128 on the end of the second floor. It was quiet although next to the road and the stairs. Free self parking. Free continental breakfast (coffee, tea, fruit, yoghurt, juice, cereal and granola bars) Quick check in and check out. Friendly and courteous staff. Great location for a quick and cheap Uber to the amphitheater for a concert. Restaurant/ bar on site, which was packed day and night, although we didn’t try it and other restaurants close by. Huge mini fridge and microwave in the room. I think we were in a “renovated” room- no carpet, which was great. My husband and I travel a fair bit and we both agreed this had the most comfortable bed of anywhere we have stayed in the last 25 years! Best air conditioning too! We would definitely stay here again. If I had to complain about something it would be low water pressure with the shower, but we survived LOL. Again-this is not a 5 star hotel so don’t expect it to be, but it was exactly what it claimed to be.

Older motel..double beds..not a lot of room to move around..good for the price. Breakfast was juice, coffee, yogurt, danish, cereal and fruit..staff couldn't find reservation at first...she was on the wrong date. There was a restaurant/bar on top level.

Staff was lovely. Found a used syringe on bathroom window sill. Staff cleaned room when reported but should never have passed original clean. Also very noisy. Clients smoking on bench and talking loud at all hours of night and morning. Beads lumpy and worn out. Pillows had no slip covers. Location was good for concert at maine savings bank amphitheater. A nice walk.

First, not clean, hair in bed, on toilet seat, weird stain, smell! Second, we did not sleep there, there was a fight outside, people screeming, throwing stuff, we did not feel safe at all so we left. Immediately contacted hotel.com to get a refund or credit and no news. Very disappointed : (

Friendly staff. Close to casino and ampitheatre. Only complaint i have is that i could hear the people in the room above me every time they walked across the floor, no biggie, i just turned the fan on, but that was a bit annoying.

We booked the king bed room it was so spacious we could have danced in the room. Dissapointed no coffee pot in the room. Coffee and cereal was offered in the lobby. Mattress was so soft and comfortable like being on a cloud. Will definitely book this hotel and this room again

Yes, clean rooms. Curtains were to short and I had pit towels up to cover the edge. Mo problem. But the awesome part was that when the house cleaner came in, she changed out the curtains w/o being asked to. Awesome. Front desk was exceptionally helpful with places to go and things to do

I have traveled (2-26-24) and stayed in many places in many countries and in the United States, this had been the worst experience ever. There was no soap and shampoo, the soap dispenser on the wall was broken and empty. When I went to tell the evening clerk, she was vaping and threatened me to go back to my room. I had a critical surgery next morning, I had to keep my cool. The BREWER MOTOR INN is the WORST INN, PERIOD. HOW A GUEST COMING TO A MOTEL IN THE EVENING CAN CLEAN????

I have traveled (2-26-24) and stayed in many places in many countries and in the United States, this had been the worst experience ever. I've stayed here many times and am always glad to return. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is always available to help with any request. Lots of restaurants close by and Bangor is only a 10 minute drive away.

Check-in/out staff were very very friendly. Affordable, clean and basic. Lots of next room /outside noise. Only “concern” is key doorknob only. Can use deadbolt from inside but can’t use when you leave the room. Recommend to consider for security reasons. Thank you!

Updated but still has that “motor inn “ vibe. Clean and comfortable. Reasonable place to stay on the way to Bar Harbor. Bar / restaurant onsite was reasonable and good food. If your the type that has to have the 4star plus experience you might not like it but I thought it was perfect for the price

Updated but still has that “motor inn “ vibe. Clean and comfortable. Reasonable place to stay on the way to Bar Harbor. Bar / restaurant onsite was reasonable and good food. If your the type that has to have the 4star plus experience you might not like it but I thought it was perfect for the price

The Brewer Motor inn was not new, but everything was squeaky clean and the staff was smart and helpful. We ate dinner at the attached restaurant, and the food was delicious, reasonable, and ample. If you're really hungry, order the meatloaf. Breakfast was modest, but more wholesome than many hotel breakfasts, with real milk and choices of fruit. I strongly recommend this place. It appeared to be a family run operation and you can really tell the difference.

This was not a 5 star hotel, but also didn’t claim to be. This was one of the least expensive options of the very overpriced options available in Bangor / Brewer. I read some very bad reviews about this place and some good ones- we were very pleasantly surprised. Our room was spotless and spacious. #128 on the end of the second floor. It was quiet although next to the road and the stairs. Free self parking. Free continental breakfast (coffee, tea, fruit, yoghurt, juice, cereal and granola bars) Quick check in and check out. Friendly and courteous staff. Great location for a quick and cheap Uber to the amphitheater for a concert. Restaurant/ bar on site, which was packed day and night, although we didn’t try it and other restaurants close by. Huge mini fridge and microwave in the room. I think we were in a “renovated” room- no carpet, which was great. My husband and I travel a fair bit and we both agreed this had the most comfortable bed of anywhere we have stayed in the last 25 years! Best air conditioning too! We would definitely stay here again. If I had to complain about something it would be low water pressure with the shower, but we survived LOL. Again-this is not a 5 star hotel so don’t expect it to be, but it was exactly what it claimed to be.

Older motel..double beds..not a lot of room to move around..good for the price. Breakfast was juice, coffee, yogurt, danish, cereal and fruit..staff couldn't find reservation at first...she was on the wrong date. There was a restaurant/bar on top level.

Though the staff was very friendly and kind they could not make up for things like the incredibly dirty carpet throughout (kept my shoes on for everything except taking a shower) or the first impression of the lobby that is in desperate need of a redo (the first thing you see is a wall that’s chipped away by the chair where the person behind the desk sits). My biggest issue was their policy to actually charge $100 for room damage that is then refunded to you in the next 7 to 10 days if there is no damage. I fully understand taking the credit card number in case there’s damage but to actually charge is wrong. I made sure the desk attendant knew my feelings and hope he actually told the owners. I was to stay here one more night on the other end of my trip but decided to cancel instead.

The smell of Lysol was so strong, it messed with my allergies. I’m not sure if someone actually lives above 111, but they beat and banged all night. It was a little sketchy outside. The smell of pot at the resturant on site was unbearable.
