I have stayed there twice as a stopover en route to France , just full of character and charm , staff are excellent and very welcoming, lovely grounds to walk our dogs , parking ample and easy and free . Bonus is if you see the horses and donkeys in the meadow , will absolutely stay here again

Such a magical place to say. We stayed in the medieval part of the castle and it was wonderful. Large room and very large bathroom. Plenty of closet storage space. The wifi worked well in both the castle and the room. The castle lounges and rooms are decorated well with comfortable seating and antiques. The service at the cocktail bar was friendly and very good. Really nice breakfast with lots of options and the restaurant on site has excellent food. Really a wonderful experience.

The castle itself is in incredible condition. The way they maintain the building is incredible, as is the addition of the pool in the moat and the gorgeous nighttime decorations around the grounds. Staff are a small team, but great. Friendly, efficient and you can tell they really want you to have a great stay. The restaurant was excellent, offering a really amazing price for dinner, and with the bonus of everything being local. The only issue we had was that the air conditioning was not very effective. The result of which, combined with bed sheets that really just reflect your body heat back at you, was that we didn't get a very good sleep at all. If they could fix this, it would be a ten out of ten. I'd definitely go back in the cooler months.

Just a brilliant hotel, great food, great location, excellent pool, a would recommend this hotel to everyone. We had a brilliant time a great room this is an 11 out of 10 hotel and experience. Do explore the gardens, taste the wine and book in for an evening meal. It was the best meal we had in Spain by a long way and the chef is excellent.

Ett charmigt hotell som har en väg att vandra. Mycket vacker byggnad och ett väldigt trevligt rum. Inget vatten i poolen, ett icke fungerande wifi och en dusch som bara hade varmvatten och därför inte gick att använda. God mat i restaurangen med personal som verkligen vill vara tillmötesgående men som begränsas av att de inte talar ett enda ord engelska.

This place was awesome! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer! Our room was spacious and very comfortable with a lovely view of the grounds. The large bed and the pillows were comfortable. The bathroom had both a tub and shower, both clean and functioned well with very good water pressure. The decor was suited to the castle. Although our room was on the ground floor, we had to walk down 3 steps to enter and up a flight of stairs to the bedroom. This was not a problem for us at all, but guests while mobility issues would want to be aware of uneven surfaces, as to be expected in a centuries-old structure. We enjoyed spending time walking on the grounds and relaxing on the terrace. The breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious with a variety of choices. Both the dinner and bar menus had delicious choices as well, and reasonably priced. We were happy to eat all of our meals here and not have to drive anywhere else. The pool was in a tranquil setting and while we did not use it, it looked lovely. We were also appreciative that our small dog was welcomed, several guests had dogs and all were well behaved. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this location for a relaxing break out in the countryside.

Loved our stay in this historic castle. Staff were very friendly and helpful and rooms were large and clean. The food at the restaurant was amazing as well as the breakfast. Left us some nice treats for the dog in the room as well. Will definitely be back.

고성에서의 하루밤을 원하시는 분들에 좋은 추억을 줄 수 있는 곳, 주변 산책 및 멍때림도 굿. 베란다에서의 와인한잔이 잊지못할 기억. 저식도 세미호텔급. 다만 결혼식이 있는 날은 거의 해뜰때까지 소음으로 다소 신경쓰임.

Such a magical place to say. We stayed in the medieval part of the castle and it was wonderful. Large room and very large bathroom. Plenty of closet storage space. The wifi worked well in both the castle and the room. The castle lounges and rooms are decorated well with comfortable seating and antiques. The castle itself is in incredible condition. The way they maintain the building is incredible, as is the addition of the pool in the moat and the gorgeous nighttime decorations around the grounds. The result of which, combined with bed sheets that really just reflect your body heat back at you, was that we didn't get a very good sleep at all. Amazing hotel in beautiful surroundings. The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly. My husband fell very unwell during dinner and the staff were so helpful in getting him back to our room and did their best to ensure his well-being. We would love to come back and finish the dinner we started!!

Les lieux sont atypiques avec le charme de l'ancien mais aussi avec le confort moderne. Le personnel est très attentif et agréable. A ne pas manquer si on souhaite être en dehors de tout (il n'y a que des champs dans les kilomètres aux alentours)

L'endroit est splendide et à proximité de l'autoroute. Le service impeccable, le personnel est d'une grande gentillesse. Le gros bémol sont comme souvent en espagne, les horaires du petit déjeuner et du repas du soir, 9h-11h pour le matin et 20h30 est beaucoup trop tard quand on a de la route à faire quand on aime partir tôt le matin. Une difference culturelle à laquelle j'ai du mal à m'habituer! De ce fait nous n'avons pas testé ni le petit dejeuner, ni le repas du soir (dommage car j'avais payé avec une formule petit dejeuner tout incluse). Le parking privatif est impeccable.

We loved our stay. The castle looked magnificent against the blue sky. The silence was what struck us - it was so relaxing. We enjoyed a few drinks and our dinner and breakfast outside in the sunshine. It was perfect for our dog too - easy to walk him in the grounds. We would definitely like to return one day.

I always dreamt of having this kind of experience, sleeping in a historical building. On top of that, there is a swimming pool, excellent breakfast and dining experience, and the place itself is like a museum. It's not too far from Salamanca which makes it also ideal for visiting it and then going back to relax in the room.

Just a brilliant hotel, great food, great location, excellent pool, a would recommend this hotel to everyone. We had a brilliant time a great room this is an 11 out of 10 hotel and experience. Do explore the gardens, taste the wine and book in for an evening meal. It was the best meal we had in Spain by a long way and the chef is excellent.

A nice place. But...more attention to details is needed. The AC in to room was not working. The WIFI in the room was not working at all (yes, is a stone castle, but there are ways to solve it) The restaurant was nice...but they served more or less raw iberian pork (meat was blue-red when it arrived at.the plate, ie. not pre-heated prior or BBQ)
