This has to be the cutest property I have ever stayed at! It was so full of charm! The room was comfortable and clean, and the area around the B&B is so scenic (it helps that there is a wrap around balcony for you to enjoy the view). The breakfasts were very delicious and Valerie was a gracious and welcoming host!

We loved our stay. The area is beautiful. The house is super homey and comfy and charm, right across from the entrance to Vanderbilt Mansion historic site. Our host is wonderful and helpful, giving us great tips for restaurant. If we ever travel back to Hudson River Valley again, we will seek Journey Inn out and stay here again.

The Inn was very pleasant, and close to all the Local Landmarks and Historic Sites in Hyde Park. Breakfast was served each morning and the Innkeeper prepared meals that were healthy and appealing. The Innkeepers made our stay comfortable. I especially liked sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful garden. The Inn is directly across from The Vanderbilt Mansion and a close drive to The Roosevelt Estate. Hyde Park and this area are definitely a must see for history enthusiasts and the Inn makes the stay all the more appealing.

We had a delightful stay at Journey Inn B&B. The staff was very helpful, and the breakfasts were wonderful. The staff even had ice on hand for those who wanted to relax with cocktails in the evening after dinner. Fortunately, the staff thought of details that boarders would need during their stay because they often were not around during the day and evening.

Not all rooms have en-suite bathrooms, but if your room doesn’t have one, a private bathroom is reserved for your use only that is steps away. And the breakfasts were great!

Excellent stay! Valerie and Eric were fantastic hosts who gave us a warm welcome. They were giving great recommendations on dinner and to do‘s in the area. The inn is quiet, very clean and the room was cosy! We immediately felt like home! The breakfast was outstanding! Next time being in Hudson valley we will definitely stay in the Journey Inn again!

The inn’s hosts were outstanding in friendliness and knowledge. Our breakfast was delicious and healthy. The only real downside was the room’s bathroom was down the hall from our room. The website only listed that it was a private bath but didn’t mention it wasn’t attached to our room. They should probably edit the site to erase any confusion.

1st time traveling solo and staying at a bed n breakfast. The Journey Inn, and owners were great!!! Breakfast was a nice treat & the owners are very well versed about the area. I'm thankful for their hospitality. I've found my new way to travel b/c of them, and their kindness.

We had a delightful stay at Journey Inn B&B. The staff was very helpful, and the breakfasts were wonderful. The staff even had ice on hand for those who wanted to relax with cocktails in the evening after dinner. Fortunately, the staff thought of details that boarders would need during their stay because they often were not around during the day and evening.

Nice breakfast prepared and served each morning. You could sit by yourselves or at a long table. Local questions answered cheerfully and place was quiet but not isolated being off main road so getting to sites was very easy.

We loved our stay. The area is beautiful. The house is super homey and comfy and charm, right across from the entrance to Vanderbilt Mansion historic site. Our host is wonderful and helpful, giving us great tips for restaurant. If we ever travel back to Hudson River Valley again, we will seek Journey Inn out and stay here again.

The Inn was very pleasant, and close to all the Local Landmarks and Historic Sites in Hyde Park. Breakfast was served each morning and the Innkeeper prepared meals that were healthy and appealing. The Innkeepers made our stay comfortable. I especially liked sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful garden. The Inn is directly across from The Vanderbilt Mansion and a close drive to The Roosevelt Estate. Hyde Park and this area are definitely a must see for history enthusiasts and the Inn makes the stay all the more appealing.

Valerie and Eric were great hosts, very warm, inviting and knowledgeable about the area regarding restaurants and sightseeing. Check in/check out was easy. The rooms were beautiful and spotless. Not all rooms have en-suite bathrooms, but if your room doesn’t have one, a private bathroom is reserved for your use only that is steps away. And the breakfasts were great!

Convenient to resturants and other facilities . Owners are kind and accomodating. Breakfasts were delicious and varied. Our small room was off the reception/dining area therefore quite noisy and not private at times.

The frittata and fruit salad the first morning and the Gruyère pie and apple compote the second morning left no doubt that Journey intends to be an Inn to be thoroughly enjoyed. Eric & Valerie have tremendous pride of ownership and want to ensure no opportunity to engage with their guests is left unfulfilled. Kudos & well done

The inn’s hosts were outstanding in friendliness and knowledge. Our breakfast was delicious and healthy. The only real downside was the room’s bathroom was down the hall from our room. The website only listed that it was a private bath but didn’t mention it wasn’t attached to our room. They should probably edit the site to erase any confusion.

The Journey Inn is a delightful Bed and Breakfast! Our hosts, Val and Eric, were wonderful and their suggestions on everything from dining choices to what to do and when to do them were all spot on! I suggest that you seek their advice before you travel so that you don't have to make any last minute changes! Just a few of their helpful suggestions: Go to the FDR Museum earlier in the day. It will take several hours if you do it right. Also, wear a sweater. They keep it rather cool inside. We did the FDR house on one day, the museum on the second day. I suppose you could reverse this. Thank you Val and Eric!!

We stayed here when visiting the area for our daughter's graduation, so we didn't get to spend much time on the property, but this inn is so cozy and comfortable. Valerie was very helpful and accommodating, since we had to arrive late at night. She left keys and instructions that were easy to follow. The breakfasts were amazing! Seriously delicious and cooked practically before your eyes. Valerie even gave me to-go containers when I couldn't eat my entire breakfast at once. Nice array of tea, coffee, juice, and various types of milk (we like oat). Valerie also accommodated my gluten-free needs. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, including the adorable dog. I could have sat in that cozy living/dining area all day and watched the rain come down.
