The Property was excellent. The only HUGE PROBLEM I encountered was the VALET employees and the process. I ended up paying 2x in one day and was given very misunderstanding info from the employees. The front desk employees also seemed to not care that there was only 1 person on at a time and left guests to wait for long periods of time just to get their vehicles.

Hands down, one of the best pools in the city! The pool is warm and there are two full sized hot tubs! The weather was warm so they had the door open to the patio. Rooms and beds were comfy, and the bathrooms were nice! Every staff member that we encountered was welcoming! One of my new favorite places to stay!

We did a weekend family trip. The hotel is updated and rooms have been upgraded but when it came to the pool staff they make you feel very uncomfortable. You are required to use your room card to enter the pool area, not a big deal and very normal. But in addition to using your room card to even get into the pool area they also have a hostess right at the door as you enter ensuring you wear a pool wristband at all time. The pool person also constantly walks around the pool area checking if you still have the wristband on which made us feel very uncomfortable and like it was big brother. We took the kids to swim for a little bit in the morning before we checked out. The pool hostess rudely asked if we were going to get another night and once we said no. They continued to come up to us and give a count down of every 10 minutes till it was close to 11am. We were out of the pool by 11am gathering our things and they came up to our family with scissors to cut our wristbands in half. I had to get a manager involved. It was such a shame to see that type of treatment especially being charged at over $300/night plus we even bowled and ate at the casino!!!! Will NOT stay here ever again.

Title: Clean room but live bug in room and no proper breakfast option Overall, the room was clean, quiet, and odor-free, and the check-in process was smooth. The view on the second floor is absolutely terrible! Nothing worse than looking out of the window to a fence that hides hvac units! Considering I was there for two days, I would have thought that the front desk attendant would have selected a different room. Other than this, room cleanliness and comfort is exceptional!

When doing the reservation, I had made a mistake by one night. We needed to stay an extra night. The service by Brianna at the front desk was EXCELLENT! She went above and beyond to make the change possible and was super helpful. She knows the importance of service and made it all easy for us to enjoy an additional night at the hotel.

Terrible experience — I will never be back. The staff was rude and came across as discriminatory. The property prioritizes golf greens over even a small patch of grass for dogs. Parking is a headache with no easy access other than the main lobby with stupid key card elevators that are impossible to use when you have your hands full, and the only covered option is valet. I could list more issues, but honestly, I’m exhausted by the repeated disappointments. The one redeeming factor is that customer service usually tries to make things right after mistakes, but eventually you just get fed up. That’s where I’m at.

I checked in for my room and enjoyed my stay but a few days after I left noticed I was double charged for the room they are saying it's because I booked another room and it's a no-show fee but I have all the receipts and confirmation showing that the second room was canceled they refuse to give me a refund

I didn’t give a five star customer service at check in. I had to wait saw two employees doing other things than saying welcome or say she will be right with you. As well as checking out no greeting except do you need a copy of the receipt.

I love the feasibility of having the casino a lobby away (some of the reviews mention it being a walk through the outside, but that was not the case for us, it’s all accessible indoors). I love the options of multiple restaurants. So many slot/casino machines! The shower didn’t always get us hot water, which was my only concern. I didn’t say anything, so there’s that. Staff at check in/check out were friendly. Frequent security patrols at the parking lot, felt very safe.

The service in the only breakfast place was painfuly slow. the room was great. Bed was comfortable. TV was hard to figure out. Good shower.

The room was a great size. Shower was amazing and bed was very comfortable. We had a great view of the mountains and juniper restaurant had great atmosphere and food was excellent!

All of the food options are affordable and great. The staff is the friendliest! No matter where you are in the casino and resort every staff member greets you and is so helpful.

It’s an ok casino resort. Not sure impressed enough for a return trip it was soso. The deal with last call at bar was very confusing. Restaurants Bars and convenience store close way too early. No food available after 10:30.

Great all around. Nice selection of restaurants and hours of availability. The property is impeccable - inside and out. Lovely walk around the property every day. Nice coffee from the Starbucks each morning. Astonishing water pressure in the shower. And the most comfortable bed ever!

We enjoyed our stay at Santa Ana Star Casino and Hotel. We used it as an overnight on our way up to Breckenridge, CO and back. Everything from the lobby to the rooms was large, beautiful and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Security in the parking lot were very visable, which is always reassuring. We enjoyed the casino both nights we were there. It was also large, clean and the staff were friendly. The only unimpressive experience was the food. We did not try Juniper steakhouse, so I can't speak about them. We had one dinner in the Sportsbar and it was okay. Not great. The drinks we ordered were simple and decently priced. The staff was great, very friendly and attentive. The other dinner was in the cantina which was fast food. Good variety and price, but not great tasting. My onion rings were overcooked and my hot sandwich was too greasy. My husbands chicken dish had very little flavor. Lots of tables were open to sit at, but most were dirty. We will definately stop at the casino again. It's a nice spot for overnight.
