Room was not serviced in 4 days, the staff were nice enough when I could find any. The pool was 10m square and cold. The gym had more gaffer tape on the machines then a kidnapping movie with Jason Statum, Appreciated being the only one in there though. The hole place is a bit tired and needs a reverb.

This a very tired and dated hotel. Room 3 was pretty awful in terms of furnishings (old honey pine furniture pieces, painted in an attempt to upcycle) that were chipped, worn and scratched. The dining chair posing as a dressing table chair had ripped seat covering, the carpet fitted decades ago was stained (the type you wouldn't need to walk on barefoot). The drapes in need of updating and replacement and the bathroom very basic. The images of the accommodations on the website didn't look too bad to be fair - I can only assume this was the worst room in the hotel. On the upside, the staff were friendly enough if not a little thin on the ground and breakfast was adequate. It's not the most expensive hotel in the area but next time I'm close by on business and in need of a stop over, I'll be paying a bit extra to get a much higher standard.

The hotel is in need of updating. Carpets dirty in places but not worn. General decor grubby in some areas especially on the outside. Water in swimming pool clear but sides dirty/stained. Steam room very smelly. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast choices good and plenty of it.

Oh dear, I'm sure this could be a very nice hotel. Rather sad and disappointing from the bath which felt like it may break, odd taps on the sink, tired furnishings, patched. Everything seemed thin, curtains (which didn't quite keep out the light), the handwash, the toilet paper, the bath. The room although dated was clean, the staff were nice. The place could be lovely.
