Lava suites

It’s true you pay for the view. I was really disappointed in the condition of the room, especially considering the amount of money you pay. The pictures for the hot tub suite are very outdated. There are so many small things that could be fixed and would add to the rooms value. Our shower nozzle was broken, you also have to hold the shower nozzle yourself, no hook on the wall. The faucet is really loose and shakes on the sink. The button to flush the toilet doesn’t cover the hole on the top of the toilet. The bedside dresser handle was broken and the material was ruined on top of it. The bed is SO firm it’s not comfortable. The wicker chairs on the patio were broken and missing cushions. The daybed by the hot tub no longer has a cushion so it’s no longer useful as it’s just concrete. The hot tub is barely warm, I was told that wasn’t the hottest it went which is a joke. The one thing I will give credit to is the office staff. I did complain about a few things at check in, they did fix and try to rectify everything they could. The girl in the reception was very nice and polite. I wouldn’t stay here again but again the view was amazing.

My husband and I came for our honeymoon and it was the most amazing experience ever. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was absolutely stunning. Inside was spacious, beautifully designed, and relaxing. The Caldera view and private pool were our top favourites. The staff were super welcoming and available for any questions through WhatsApp. They were warm, attentive, and always available for recommendations to make our stay special. We were served complementary breakfast to the room every morning and the brought it to our balcony to enjoy the view. We could watch the sunrise over the cliffs. The hotel area (lobby pool) and our room were spotless every time. It is central to downtown Fira where it is a short walk to the city centre/shops & restaurants. Everything about Lava Suites exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t have asked for a better Santorini experience. If you’re looking for breathtaking sunsets, comfort & true Greek hospitality, Lava Suites is an absolute gem. I can’t wait to come back!

Lava suites was a really good stay, it had an amazing view of Fira and the Caldera. Walkable to the shops and lots of dining options. However, we can hear music in the distance at night and the outdoor pool was cold, so if it was heated, it would be much better. The staff however is very friendly and accommodating, so it’s still a very good hotel.

Everything was excellent. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. The daily breakfast was incredible, the pool was always clean, the courtyard was inviting.

Staff was awesome and very hospitable. Nicolas was a fantastic host and took great pride. Our room had an amazing view of the caldera and an epic sunset with a private pool. The rooms needs some updating and some love but the location and the service more than make up for it!

Hôtel bien placé , jolie vue . Décevant par rapport aux photos :aucune lumière quand on est arrives 20h30 . Beaucoup de marches avec les valises . Bon petit déjeuner et accueil très serviable . Toute petite piscine sans transat pour s’allonger. Chambre sans fenêtre hormis celle de la porte . Ne vaut pas 230 euros la nuit !

Gorgeous view from our room, all other rooms do not have a view. Pictures on line are NOT true they need to be updated.There is no lounge. Furniture is old and broken, breakfast is nice, staff is awesome. Reception is a closet but receptionist is nice. She is only there part of the day but you can call her if you need anything. Very disappointed for the money we paid.

What a spectacular location. We had the two bedrooms suite as we traveled with our young 9 year old. You can enjoy the sunset from the jacuzzi on the upper floor. Panos was a most welcoming and helpful host. Highly recommended.

I honestly don’t have too many positive things to say about this property. I really had high expectations and lava suites failed me. But he bed was hard as rock. You’re basically sleeping on boards and a thin very thin mattress. No tv in the room, no phone for emergencies in the room. No real shower head so with one hand you’re holding the shower head with one hand while trying to use the other to actually clean up itself (unrealistic) plus mosquitoes all in the shower and sink. Sitting area uncomfortable, towels super dirty. I would not recommend. I would not return to this location.

Położenie hotelu i widok z tarasy przepiękne , jednak stan pokoju , jego wygoda jest nieodpowiednia za te pieniądze . Taras urządzony w stare rozpadające się fotele , parasol uszkodzony , jacuzzi wymaga remontu . Brak cienia na tym tarasie wyłącza go latem z użytkowania . W pokoju nie ma fotel który jest na zdjęciu . W łazience nie ma żadnego wieszaka na ręczniki . Ręczniki mocno zużyte. Ogólnie dałabym marne 3 gwiazdki .

Viola was amazing. The place was clean and the view and location are absolutely stunning. The one downside was the man that helps with bags apparently broke his leg the day I arrived so I had to lug my heavy luggage myself (viola helped) which in Santorini is not so easy!!

The hotel is in an amazing spot with great view. The room was very neat and clean, and the staff very pleasant and helpful! I recommend it for couples or families, I am sure they will have a great time!

All the staff were friendly, helpful, and responsive. The lodging was sizable and interesting in how it was built into the hill. For a great Santorini-Fira experience I would recommend Lava Suites as a first choice.

The location is excellent from view point…. ( You have to walk about 300 steps from drop off point - hauling four bags down and up was quite a chore). Master bed room does not have AC, only a standing fan…. Staff was super friendly

The location was a 10/10. The view a 10/10, the breakfast a 10/10. We were in the Jasmine room. The bed was very, very hard, so we grabbed the squabs off the lounge suite and put themon the bed which was wonderful. Our recommendations would be some art on the walls, perhaps a nice rug or two on the floor with a coffee table to make it look more inviting and cared for. Value for money however was a 9/10. Thankyou.

The arrival was easy as we booked their transport. I don't think we could have found it otherwise. They were easy to reach by WhatsApp msging. The room was a bit stuffy, the chair and bed were not so comfortable. The internet was TERRIBLE. It did not reach the bedroom and was often poor connection in the living room. There was no iron either. Overall it was ok as the staff were very nice and the location was perfect.

The mattress also didn’t seem to fit the frame properly, making it unstable. Even aside from that, the mattress itself was very uncomfortable and left us with backaches after just one night. Since we were staying for three nights, we ended up moving to the two single beds in the other room, but unfortunately, those mattresses were just as uncomfortable. On the positive side, the breakfast was excellent—fresh, delicious, and a highlight of our stay. The service was also outstanding, especially thanks to Sophia at reception. She was warm, welcoming, and gave us great, honest advice that truly enhanced our time in Santorini. Sophia, along with the location, made our stay memorable. Overall, this property has incredible potential. With some much-needed TLC and updates to the rooms—particularly the beds—it could easily be a five-star experience.

The staff was great, Sophia and O’Neill were great hosts and made this stay very comfortable and helpful, very attentive,. They even pre-arranged the transportation from the airport to the hotel and the hotel to the port. Great breakfast served to your room every morning at your chosen time. Definitely will stay here again.

La stanza assegnataci era molto umida e non abbiamo potuto fruire della colazione che avevamo pagato, pur avendo avvisato al momento del check in, che l’indomani alle 8,20 avremmo dovuto andare via per prendere la nave. Tra le 8 (orario di inizio del servizio colazione alle 8,20 (quando siamo andati via) c’era solo un dipendente che era nella stanza a preparare le colazioni che non capiva una parola di inglese, che non capiva nulla di quanto gli chiedevamo
