Superb accommodation with Heritage, class and lovely rooms throughout. Dining there on the evening was perfect - great food and drink. Breakfast was fabulous with lots of Gluten Free options. Resident parking to rear which is safe and convenient. Location is right in the heart of the village. Highly recommend.

Very very hot even in early May. We open the windows but it does not help. Provide only one fan which cannot work well. Ask for another fan, but hotel says they have no extra fan available. Furnishing is very old. Steep stairs with no lift .

Comfortable stay in a beautiful town. Warm, decent breakfast. Very accommodating staff. Dover bar was cost and friendly. Would stay again.

Booked last minute for this lovely Cotswold hotel. Quietly located with good amenities around, it was worth the stay. On arrival there was a roaring open fire in the bar and a log burner on the go near reception. There is a coffee and cake shop in reception, which looked great. The bar was well stocked and comfortable and the restaurant is recommended.... the black lamb curry was particularly good. Breakfast included was great. A small buffet and cooked hot breakfast(pre ordered by 11pm). The room was clean and comfortable, lots of windows and a good size bathroom. Plenty of tea and coffee but a tiny kettle. The decor in the corridors/stair areas was a bit dated and stair carpet worn through in at least one area.... some staining of a leak on the ceiling in a first floor central seating area was evident. These let the place down a bit. The staff were fantastic. Definitely worth a stay again.

Hotel is really nice, clean, in a great location. Rooms are spacious, bed was really comfy although pillows were quite hard. The hotel is a little tired in places but pretty good overall. Breakfast was good but wasn’t overly prepared for a lot of people turning up at once so became a bit frantic. Some of the breakfast was cold a couple of times purely because of the waiting times. Staff were really friendly and the bar was well stocked. Parking can be a bit tricky at times. Overall, very happy.

This hotel is a historic property. We really enjoyed the breakfast which includes a cold buffet and hot items cooked to order. We also ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant several times and the food is amazing with great service. Parking is convenient and free. We took advantage of the incredible hiking options nearby.

Pros: Location in the heart of Chipping Campden On-site parking (see Cons) Restaurant is excellent choice for dinner Nice windows in the room Cons: This is an old building with a maze of staircases and hallways and the front desk decidedly does NOT offer help with luggage. On arrival, was told the parking lot had been filled by wedding guests (huh?). Actually parking was available, but didn't see this until I had dealt with luggage several blocks away. Basically, the front desk staff is not helpful, but otherwise it's a good place to stay.

Wonderful location in a very charming town. However, there was no air conditioning and there were multiple stairs on the same floor we had to navigate to get to your room. There wasn't an elevator. Beware if you have larger suitcases you will find it to be a challenge. A restaurant is located inside the hotel and the meals (breakfast & dinner) were delicious. As long you aren't in a rush to eat, we highly recommend this restuarant.

Although it’s an old building, flaking paint in room and communal areas lets the place down. Decorators equipment and paint left in our room on arrival, when removed they appeared again the next day on the landing next to our room!!! Tv remote was missing and other guests did not have one either. The bar and restaurante staff were attentive and the food was good.

Very convenient in the centre of the town. Hotel is quite shabby and could definitely benefit from an update. Upholstery worn on chairs and carpets are well worn in all the public areas and the paintwork is badly in need of redecorating. However the bedrooms were clean and adequate, the staff were lovely and really helpful. We ate our evening meal for 3 nights in the dining room and the food was delicious and service was really good. Breakfast was also really good. Would recommend .

Unfortunately during our stay in bedroom 12, (twin room) I got bitten several times by bed bugs. I emailed the hotel when I got home the same day and they still haven’t responded to me a week on! So for that reason I would avoid.

Have stayed several times. Hotel is in a great location, right in the centre of this beautiful Cotswold town. The historic building must require constant maintenance - some carpets, etc. are well-worn and external decor looks overdue for attention. All that said, we shall continue to enjoy staying here.

Stayed 2 nights in room 5. Very large room, with bath tub and shower over. As building is several hundred years old the windows are not sound proofed. I overlooked the High Street and you do hear traffic. Food is fantastic

Good location and nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Room very noisy as it was near the entrance and exit to the hotel car park and adjacent to a busy road. Windows did not close properly as they are old which we appreciate is difficult.

Lovely couple of days in Chipping Camden. Our room and bathroom were very large and comfortable. Huge super king bed and very comfy. This is an old building and the windows rattled a bit but didn’t keep us awake. Great staff and lots of choice especially in the bar. We didn’t use the coffee bar but it looked superb with all of the cakes and pastries. I would definitely stay here again

We loved our stay at the Noel Arms! Perfect location and comfort and service. Delicious classic breakfast and in room tea - we LOVED our room! Massive bathroom and it was beautifully renovated. One threadbare chair in the room did not detract- everything else was lovely. Exceeded expectations- and We will return. Kind and available staff!

We loved our stay at Noel Arms. A great location in Chipping Campden with a lovely staff and wonderful restaurant. We enjoyed an afternoon snack from the coffee bar and dinner and dessert one evening that was very good. We have already recommended Noel Arms and Chipping Campden to our friends and look forward to returning. Their sister property is located across the street and is a step up and worth checking out.

poor product in general combined with un interested staff not keen on catching your eye or engaging. Staff shortage issues in Kitchen also meant we had to wait an hour for breakfast even though we had booked a pre-agreed time the night before We decided on second morning to get breakfast elsewhere even though this was included within the rate. In summary we would not recommend and will not be returning.

Great stay, after there was a problem with the booking through Hotels .com, which was quickly sorted out by the hotel staff, who were all excellent and very helpful. The food was first class, and the restaurant very good (once we had learnt that we could use it rather than the conservatory which was used by people with dogs!!) All in all a great stay, in an excellent location on the high street, with parking. Only one small criticism, the bathroom in our room needed painting in places. Will be booking again.

Property was ok it was in a great location and parking was good to have. Check in was smooth and the lady on reception was very helpful. Food in the restaurant was nice, breakfast mediocre. Bar man at night was a bit rude and shut early with no drinks available if staying in the hotel but other staff were nice, enjoyed our stay overall.

The staff at the Noel Arms couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. We had a lovely stay in a large, well-appointed room. Chipping Campden is one of the most charming villages in the Cotswolds and we are very pleased we were able to spend time there.

Hotel is really nice, clean, in a great location. Rooms are spacious, bed was really comfy although pillows were quite hard. The hotel is a little tired in places but pretty good overall. Breakfast was good but wasn’t overly prepared for a lot of people turning up at once so became a bit frantic. Some of the breakfast was cold a couple of times purely because of the waiting times. Staff were really friendly and the bar was well stocked. Parking can be a bit tricky at times. Overall, very happy.

We also ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant several times and the food is amazing with great service. Parking is convenient and free. We took advantage of the incredible hiking options nearby.

Pros: Location in the heart of Chipping Campden On-site parking (see Cons) Restaurant is excellent choice for dinner Nice windows in the room Cons: This is an old building with a maze of staircases and hallways and the front desk decidedly does NOT offer help with luggage. On arrival, was told the parking lot had been filled by wedding guests (huh?). Actually parking was available, but didn't see this until I had dealt with luggage several blocks away. Basically, the front desk staff is not helpful, but otherwise it's a good place to stay.

Stayed 2 nights in room 5. Very large room, with bath tub and shower over. As building is several hundred years old the windows are not sound proofed. I overlooked the High Street and you do hear traffic. Food is fantastic

Good location and nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Room very noisy as it was near the entrance and exit to the hotel car park and adjacent to a busy road. Windows did not close properly as they are old which we appreciate is difficult.

Room was very comfortable, including the bed. Property was nice overall and in a great location in the center of the town. Great breakfast with many cooked options plus a buffet for cold foods such as cereal, fruit, pastries, juice.

Very nice old building with good friendly staff. Good location to vist towns around the Cotswolds. No USB charge points in the rooms or Hotel reception couldn't help but directed me where I could buy an adapter

Lovely old style hotel in the Cotswolds. Had a delicious meal in the evening and freshly cooked breakfast. Very friendly staff, large carpark under the arch, great base for visiting Cotswold sites Dover Hill, Hidcote and Sezincote, also took in the Arts and Crafts museum. Lots of eating options in the town, but would recommend the food at the hotel too

We had a fantastic time at the Noel Arms. The location is perfect for starting out on the Cotswold Way, and the dining and pub options are wonderful! Our rooms were lovely, and we were lucky to arrive on a Thursday for the famed curry special. The chef is deservedly famous! The breakfast was excellent, too!

Greeted very pleasantly by the staff in the bar as the reception daesk had closed by the time we arrived. Told where we could park on site and found a place right outside our groundfloor room. The room was very clean. There was a fan working trying to keep it cool. We eventually worked out that both the washbasin taps and the shower controls were labelled incorrectly. Hot was cold and vice versa on both! Breakfast was served very efficiently after staff had gone out of their way to find a table out of the sun for us. Cooked breakfast was included in our deal but there was also a choice of cereals, fruit and yoghurt, pasries and bread etc. We asked if we could leave the car for a short while in their car park after we checked out at 10am to explore Chipping Campden, which was granted for up to an hour.

Staff were friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. No aircon, but a fan that could produce winds of a category 2 hurricane was supplied. Managed to fall asleep even though it sounded like our bed was next to a runway :) Other than the fan, a quiet location. The jury is still out, over dogs joining humans in the restaurant.

A great stay as part of a group very good the temperature was well in the 30s but the hotel dining, bar and lounge was nice and cool. The staff were very good, the rooms were not pleasant due to the temperature but this had nothing to do with the hotel just the extreme temperature. Planning another visit soon
