We stayed at The Diwa Club for several nights and found it to be a peaceful, well-designed resort with many thoughtful touches. While the setting and rooms are fantastic, there are a few areas where the service and guest experience could be refined to truly deliver on its five-star rating. • Complimentary airport transfers were a great and made arrival seamless. • Communication before arrival was easy, and our room was ready immediately — a spacious, top-floor suite in the centre of the resort and we were checked in, in the room. • The birthday decorations in our room were thoughtful and beautifully done, including a towel “cake” and birthday motif on the bed. A cake and chocolates were also delivered later that day, which we appreciated. • Genuinely one of the largest hotel rooms we’ve stayed in — spacious balcony, a huge very comfortable bed with high-quality linens, and a very large bathroom with dual sinks and wardrobes. A great sleep every night. • The room’s lighting system deserves a mention — the “Night Time” mode keeps soft guide lights on, which was a well-designed touch for late-night bathroom trips. • The 4pm tea/coffee with light Indian snacks and the 6pm evening drink and tapas are a nice idea, though in practice underwhelming. All in all a lovely place would recommend the Club as only a little more expensive than the main hotel.
