Motel 6 Clarkston WA

My family stays here a lot. The major sell is the indoor pool and hot tub.

Tomatoe Bros restaurant is in same parking lot very convenient. Staff couldn’t be any nicer. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub were not working when I stayed there. The room price is cheapest option in town and you get what you pay for.

Had a 4 night stay. Went to take a shower after a long drive and the shower knob was missing and couldn’t be used. They came the next day and installed one but the temperature couldn’t be regulated with the replacement knob, so we had extremely hot water and just made due standing at one end to avoid the heat. Came back after dinner 2nd day and door lock wasn’t working. They tried new cards and batteries but lock was broken. Told there was nothing they could do and hotel was full, so they would refund me a night and I could go somewhere else. That wasn’t an option since the hotels were booked up and prices were very high everywhere and I had my teen and two dogs in tow. So we were stuck blocking the lock when we went out, and taking any valuables with us, so we could get the door open again. No compensation and made to feel like it was my own fault for not just going somewhere else! The mattress was long overdue for being retired with a big bump in the middle and bottoming out on the wood platform when laying on either side of the mattress. Overall it was a rough four night stay and was charged $150 a night during the two busy nights of the weekend with no offer for any kind of credit or discount due to all the issues.

The room was very clean, recently renovated. The front desk staff, Tina, was very friendly.

We had a good stay, close to our favorite restaurant. The only thing that we were bummed out about was the pool was closed but I was told it'll be open when we come in some time in October so the kids will be happy.
