Le Matisse Pau Centre

We arrived and the bar restaurant and reception were closed for annual holidays for a month . So there was nothing to eat and no breakfast . We let ourselves in through a side door with a code The lift was very small. When we got to room the door was very loose, on opening it the two top screws were hanging off and it looked like someone had forced the door . The shower gel container was missing , the side light bulb was hanging out , the main .light bulb was hanging by wires , the mirror was broken in the corner , there was no air con with température at 38 degrees . There was a large portable fan , which seemed very old and the back was hanging off , where the filter should have been . Where the fan was so dusty , at 2am I woke to the smell of what i thought was burning. It was from the build up of dust in the back of the fan. I turned it off and called hotels .com . They said they couldn't get any reply from the hotel and there was no reception at 8 am . They hadn't replied to my messages and i had to pay another 300 pounds to stay in another hotel for the last three days In Pau . Couldn't have stayed here in the heat for three more nights. It was supposed to be a premium room . Have no idea what a standard room is like . The bed had never been moved to clean it was. thick with dust. With the door being possibly forced it didn't feel safe to stay there . They didnt agréé to compensating me for the three nights I didnt stay .

L’hôtel est bien situé et pratique pour se déplacer dans la ville. Cependant, la propreté laisse à désirer. Il y avait des déchets laissés par les précédents clients dans les armoires, et la porte miroir de la salle de bain semble un peu dangereuse.

El hotel tiene una ubicación ideal, a 10 minutos andando de la zona más céntrica. La habitación está bien y la cama es muy. El check in se hace por correo y con un mismo código de entrada que te proporcionan se accede al hotel y habitación. Muy cómodo.

Idéal pour passer 1 nuit. Chambre propre mais sans plus. Comme souvent il manque peu pour que ce soit parfait. Un abat jour, un pommeau de douche. Mention spéciale pour les serviettes bien grandes et moelleuses.
