The couch in the room was covered in a disgusting substance. We took pictures and immediately checked out. The staff was helpful in getting us a refund but the management refused to come talk to us.

Not clean, hallways did not smell good at all, our room did not smell clean. There was mold on the walls in the bathroom. I don’t recommend staying there.

Would not ever recommend . Coming from out of town, we relied on photos of the rooms and reviews. Huge difference from what it actually looked like. I had no idea Sun Prairie or Super 8 would have a trashy motel. The front desk guy was creepy. We arrived at 2am. He told us he knew exactly where our room was because he had lived in it for two years, then kept walking by our room (king suite 145) and walking past our van as we unloaded medications, equipment and supplies for our 3 disabled little girls, and watched while continually walking by as we unloaded them in their wheelchairs from our accessible van. Never said a word, just stared in a way that made us uncomfortable. Knowing he had lived in our room made it feel even grosser when we saw that the armchair was absolutely filthy on the arm rests, the pull out couch had a thick sticky substance dried on one side at the bottom and broken springs, there were no bed linens for it. I wiped up water I spilled and the cloth came back black with grime. There was grime on tops of light switches, outlets and baseboards. The blow dryer handle was filthy, there were sticky black spots on the bathroom wall that wiped off with a little effort, and the toilet paper stank of cigarette smoke in a non-smoking facility. Long term residents hung outside smoking, The A/C - heater unit smelled strongly like it was burning when turned on. The TV remote didn't work and made my hands sticky. We arrived too late to switch motels, sadly.
