Everything was great except the coffee maker in the kitchen did not work and the bigger issue was that the only one choice of decalf and regular coffee available: ended up going to Starbucks that night and microwaving our coffee for the morning. Doughnut flavored coffee is not something we care for; all other amenities were great; we will bring our own coffee and coffee maker and stay again. PS check in location was very difficult to find.

This B&B has no staff present. When calling for assistance with the phone number provided, no one replied back and the voicemail shut off after 10 seconds when leaving a message and needed to call back again with no response after second message. It actually called the "sister property." Description online mentioned an outdoor pool and spa, none on the premises. No guidance on that it may be on their "sister" property a mile away. If you want to just open doors with a keypad and be on your own, this is a great place to stay. In all the B&Bs I have stayed at you meet the owners. On a good note, the room is well kept and the decor. The bed was heavenly. Overall. Not bad, but the website made it look much different than what you actually see in person.

Excellent location, breakfast and accomodations. Plenty of on site parking, there is a pool area in the sister compound as well as that's where you do the check in. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The AC unit works phenomenal and the bed is super comfortable. You also have a microwave and a fridge. You are withing walking distance from museums, restaurants , shops, food trucks, wineries you name it co.e.and check this place out.

I loved the stay at Ever's House, Seventh Heaven Suite. Beautiful room. Best thing was I was allowed early check-in no fee. The breakfast picnic basket was the best and included. Dislied: The only down side is I picked this property because of their add-on dine in experience. I was called 1-2 days prior that it was not offered anymore so I was refunded the extra fee. They are not flexible as far as cancelling so I had to purchase travel insurance. They have a strict cancel policy so read it prior to booking here. It is not a cheap stay. Another thing I noticed is I was asumming the spa hotel was closer to my stay but it turns out my Suite is located next to a Lodge where you check in and I am assuming the spa may also be a sister location but I had to drive across town for that. I did not clarify that as I wanted no stress added so spa name was at the Hill Country Herb Garden location.

The bed was super comfortable, the ac worked great, good water pressure in the shower, plenty of towels, quiet and private. We loved the breakfast in the picnic basket by our door every morning, the shady front porch, and hanging out by the fire pit under the big oak tree. Dedicated free parking for guests, 1 block to Main St Fredericksburg, we walked everywhere and rarely needed our car. We would definitely stay there again.

This is a quaint B&B one bLock from main st shopping ! The treehouse room was wonderful and spacious but really only for two and maybe a small child on a chaise chair ; the picnic basket breakfast was darling & good quality quick meal ; ample parking area was nice; Checkin was simple and pleasant ! The bath products were so amazing we purchased several more in the office store !

Picked this property for the price. I guess you can say you get what you pay for. The sheets has light stains so not sure if they couldn't get the out or never washed. Same with pillows. Hair on floor. Bed had metal frame so it made noise every time i moved. Rust stains in toilet. Noise from the street

Beautiful historic property. Very clean. Breakfast was nice. Service was great. There is no one at the property but we called for extra towels and they were promptly delivered. Would highly recommend and would stay there again.

The Evers was located within minutes from Main Street shopping and the War Museum of the Pacific (which was amazing). The beds were comfortable, the room was very clean and cozy. Enjoyed the ambience of the room and the breakfast delivered to your door in a picnic basket was a great touch. I would definitely stay here again. Evers House was LOVELY!! It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and so romantic! My husband took me here for my 40th birthday, and we had a GREAT time!! It’s right across from the Japanese Garden for Peace, and it’s walking distance from everything! We stayed in a room with a big jacuzzi tub and it was big enough for our two “plus sized” bodies to enjoy! The towels were big and fluffy, and the breakfast the next morning was very tasty! Breakfast tacos, fresh fruit, and OJ! The bed was soft and warm, and there were so many pillows! My only *issues* (and I’d barely consider these issues), was that we couldn’t figure out how to get the bubbles to work, but also I needed some ice and it was sort of inconvenient because it was all melted together in the fridge. But like I said, minor issues. Otherwise, we will HAPPILY stay here again for a romantic getaway!!

I reserviced a room based on the location (walking distance to the National Museum of the Pacific). I read reviews about this site and the site pictures. It appeared glorious. But the pictures are deceiving. Granted, it was close to the Museum. And indicated a breakfast (great pictures of a beautiful breakfast)! But I was soon informed it was only “Complimentary” when I checking-in. I tried their breakfast just one, (It was a two-night stay). The “Complimentary” breakfast turned out to be horrible (a basket of tasteless carbs-COLD OATMEAL, O J, & fruit) delivered to my door without a knock! I won’t mention the room coffee machine. This site was typical of old drafty historic establishments. Did I mention drafty! The front door didn’t exactly seal tight. Also, there were only a couple of electrical outlets that were usable near the bed. One Outlet (in the floor next to the bed) had two extension cord attached to it. One extension cord lead to a bedside table lamp. The lamp was plugged into the only working outlet at the end of the extension. The bedroom area (this was a two-room affair) has a ceiling-high single heat pump A/C unit located in the bedroom area. It’s not so great for heating the outer room (it was cold during my stay). The furnishings were a hodgepodge of castoff items. No real place to sit and eat breakfast! And there were pillows in abundance! But there was nowhere to put them but on the floor in a corner of the bedroom after clearing the bed.

Loved our room at Ever's House! The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was so pretty and the bed was super plush and comfortable! The breakfast was simple but delicious!!! Not sure what they put on the little waffles but it was so good! The only negative is that the floors must all be hardwood and we could hear the people above us moving around. If this type of thing is bothersome, you might want to choose a room on the upper floor. This wasn't a big deal to us and we would certainly stay there again!
Loved our room at Ever's House! The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was so pretty and the bed was super plush and comfortable! The breakfast was simple but delicious!!! Not sure what they put on the little waffles but it was so good! The only negative is that the floors must all be hardwood and we could hear the people above us moving around. If this type of thing is bothersome, you might want to choose a room on the upper floor. This wasn't a big deal to us and we would certainly stay there again!

Everything was great except the coffee maker in the kitchen did not work and the bigger issue was that the only one choice of decalf and regular coffee available: ended up going to Starbucks that night and microwaving our coffee for the morning. Doughnut flavored coffee is not something we care for; all other amenities were great; we will bring our own coffee and coffee maker and stay again. PS check in location was very difficult to find.

This B&B has no staff present. When calling for assistance with the phone number provided, no one replied back and the voicemail shut off after 10 seconds when leaving a message and needed to call back again with no response after second message. It actually called the "sister property." Description online mentioned an outdoor pool and spa, none on the premises. No guidance on that it may be on their "sister" property a mile away. If you want to just open doors with a keypad and be on your own, this is a great place to stay. In all the B&Bs I have stayed at you meet the owners. On a good note, the room is well kept and the decor. The bed was heavenly. Overall. Not bad, but the website made it look much different than what you actually see in person.

I loved the stay at Ever's House, Seventh Heaven Suite. Beautiful room. Best thing was I was allowed early check-in no fee. The breakfast picnic basket was the best and included. Dislied: The only down side is I picked this property because of their add-on dine in experience. I was called 1-2 days prior that it was not offered anymore so I was refunded the extra fee. They are not flexible as far as cancelling so I had to purchase travel insurance. They have a strict cancel policy so read it prior to booking here. It is not a cheap stay. Another thing I noticed is I was asumming the spa hotel was closer to my stay but it turns out my Suite is located next to a Lodge where you check in and I am assuming the spa may also be a sister location but I had to drive across town for that. I did not clarify that as I wanted no stress added so spa name was at the Hill Country Herb Garden location.

this is a nice historic stone home and is just a block off the main shopping area. The staff also sent complimentary fresh flowers, a bottle of chilled champagne and a box of chocolate dipped strawberries! We would likely stay there again on return trips to Fredericksburg

This was my first bed and breakfast experience and it was great. It had everything I needed and more than I expected. Staff was very friendly and loved the coziness of the place. Breakfast was delicious and every day was a different menu. Loved this place and will be returning to stay here again.

Beautiful historic property. Very clean. Breakfast was nice. Service was great. There is no one at the property but we called for extra towels and they were promptly delivered. Would highly recommend and would stay there again.

This is a quaint B&B one bLock from main st shopping ! The treehouse room was wonderful and spacious but really only for two and maybe a small child on a chaise chair ; the picnic basket breakfast was darling & good quality quick meal ; ample parking area was nice; Checkin was simple and pleasant ! The bath products were so amazing we purchased several more in the office store !

Evers House is a beautiful historic home. Our room had high ceilings and original hardwood floors. The bed was super comfortable, the ac worked great, good water pressure in the shower, plenty of towels, quiet and private. We loved the breakfast in the picnic basket by our door every morning, the shady front porch, and hanging out by the fire pit under the big oak tree. Dedicated free parking for guests, 1 block to Main St Fredericksburg, we walked everywhere and rarely needed our car. We would definitely stay there again.

I love the bed and breakfast idea, but the overnight oats and biscuits and gravy options served on Saturday and Sunday did not appeal to me. The property is close to all the shopping and restaurants. We had a very comfortable room.

This property has the potential of being so much better. Being built in 1880 the property has been refurbished well. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. Things we did not like. First you need to check in at a sister resort down the block. We have stayed at many memorial b&bs but I’ve never stayed at one where you did not see a host your entire stay. This house has several rooms to rent and a dining room and a full kitchen to share. However there is no host and no breakfast made on site. We were throughly disappointed! Breakfast is delivered in a basket to be heated by you in the microwave. Ours was not what I would expect from a reputable B&B in Fredericksburg. It consisted of a foil wrapped egg/potato breakfast taco that looked like a food truck item, several grapes, a tiny inedible hard what was called a pastry but not, and a glass of juice. This totally upset both of us as we had to stop at McDonald’s even to get something to eat!

When staying at prior B&Bs my experience has been a great, warm breakfast served in a shared dining room. This facility offered a picnic basket with microwaveable options, I was not impressed with the food. The surface of the bed was completely balled-up. There was no mattress pad to cover-up this problem and we felt all the bumps.

We booked the room with the jacuzzi tub, only to get there and find out it did not work. The pool, which is pictured, is actually around the corner. We drove because it was 103 AND the driveway is so long and steep. The breakfasts were inedible, although cute in the basket. We hung the sign for our room to be cleaned on the door for 3 days. It never was. We used the same 2 damp towels the entire visit. We also paid MORE booking through the hotel, and not just a little more, it was ALOT. So as much as we enjoyed this quaint little town, we will stay elsewhere if we return.
