There were a lot of things off with this stay. Upon check-in the staff asked for a $40 deposit in cash, a very odd request in my opinion. I did not pay it and told them they could put the deposit on my card which they chose not to. The bathroom in my room had ants all over the walls. There was no smoke detector…It was removed and there was just wires. The staff told me not to worry about it which was alarming in itself. I paid for the room with the jacuzzi - it was not usable. The plug does not fit so the water did not stay in it. I honestly want my money back. The area isn’t the worst. It felt safe at least! Just a lot of issues with the room and a bad vibe from the staff.

It was very clean and comfortable. We love the jetted tub it was the best part of the room.

Clean, quiet, comfortable. Convenient parking, strong WiFi. I came from out of state and was waiting for a loved one to be released from a nearby hospital. I ended up staying here for about a week in three different rooms. The family at the front desk were friendly and helpful.

Hotel run by indians, very friendly people. Just 15min drive from Pasadena. Big, tidy and quiet hotel. Enough parking spots. Several restaurants 5-10min walk away. Really enjoyed my stay, totally recommended.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The parking is secure and the staff is kind and friendly.

Huge room with jetted tub in room. Tub is slow to fill and TV is quite small for such a big room. Not all the lights work. Great room for the price.

Looks like it was remodel, but it looks cheap. I tried toilet. It was running all night. Ants in the bathroom and tub. We got the room with Jacuzzi tub, but the Jacuzzi was so filthy

I had no issues checking in, and I had a very nice and clean room.

The bathroom was full of ants, they were coming from little cracks in the grout and wall, I had to cover the cracks with wet pieces of toilet paper. Killed a baby roach. Super dingey towels. Bed was ok.

I arrived to the room and immediately noticed that the bed sheets were stained and dirty. They had what seemed like blood stains and yellow marks. I let the manager know and she responded “they are not dirty, they are old stains”. I requested for them to replace the sheets and she just gave me a sheet to put over the stained ones. I was exhausted and didn’t want to argue so I just cleared the dirty sheets and went to sleep. I would not stay here again.

Room smelled like urine, long black hairs on bedding. Needs a good DEEP clean and then maybe it would be worth 120+ a night

The place as a whole was okay (emphasizing on OKAY.) At first look the room was renovated and looked nice. So dirty, the floors were unswept and every time we’d walk around with socks on they would literally become black after a couple of minutes. Bathroom were very bad too. hair everywhere and the toilet was left untouched by the cleaners. Housekeeping also was very inconvenient. asked for toilet paper to be brought to our room 3 times and gave up so i personally had to ask the housekeepers. Honestly, you can find a lot better for this price. Probably would give a 3/10 pretty OK.

The hotel had a nice location, but unfortunately there were too many mosquitoes in the room. It made the stay uncomfortable, especially at night. Needs better pest control.

Nice safe clean Hotel . Room is spacious and bed very comfortable. Bathroom is small. It is better to bring your own Towel. MiniFridge and microwave a plus . Close to supermarkets and dining options within a short driving distance.

I arrived at 2 AM & there was an overnight window where I didn’t have to wait. A very kind gentlemen checked me in quickly & efficiently. The room was just as pictured. Everything was in its place & properly working. Good water pressure. Comfy mattress with 3 different firmness of pillows. Breakfast starts a little later than most places (8 AM) but I didn’t have to get that early of a start which was fine!

Nice and clean and big rooms

Check in was a breeze. Needed to provide ID & a $20 CASH deposit for the stay. The deposit was refunded once I checked out. I went to my room upstairs to settle in and smelled cleaned the moment I walked in. there was enough natural light coming from the windows which I enjoyed. A few things I checked out of habit when I stay anywhere were the windows, the bed (for bugs) and the water pressure. I was glad I can open the windows for natural ventilation so that was a plus. The bed was clean and didn’t have signs of any critters which was also a huge plus. The water for the sink and shower were great so no complaints there either. This place also had a bidet in the bathroom which I wish would become the norm in USA.My room didn’t have a closet but did have a spacious dresser which worked fine. Mini fridge and microwave were clean. This specific bonus was the reason I chose to stay here due to the length I needed to be away from my place. Having the microwave & mini fridge was useful to have for leftovers if I didn’t want to constantly go out for breakfast. (The office had complimentary breakfast if you were curious.) Since I was working remotely during my stay, I did have to use my hotspot every now and then when the hotel’s wifi would give out. :/ TV had super basic cable but rarely watched anything since I had my iPad. Maid service was great! Overall, I was content with my stay. Only knocking 1 star off due to no trash can in the bathroom (-.5) and the inconsistent wifi. 4/5

Very, very poor. The staff could not understand english. Hard to communicate. The room assigned had NO SMOKE DETECTOR!! The TV could only play 4 OTA channels and the staff could not fix. The room was old and in very poor condition. The chairs at the table had splits in the fabric. The door handle to the bathroom was falling off. Bad!!

I have no complaints about the room or the stay everything was excellent but I had an incident with an employee of there’s I emailed the hotel and told them about and they could care less! Nice place to stay but management needs work

Check around on all the sites for the best price. The front desk isn't willing to budge on price even for longer stays. They care more about making the most money. The property is decent but the sheets are old.

Located on a Main Street but not noisy. Bed very comfortable. Spacious room . Clean property . I saw just one stairs to the upper level. Good Value = For a weekend in LA under 150 USD . Short driving distance to supermarkets and dining options.

I enjoyed my 2-night stay at the Garden Inn. The pictures online were spot on to the room I reserved. The beds were big and comfortable, the tv was a pretty decent size (and worked contrary to previous other motel stays). I liked that there was a microwave, as I usually will have leftover food. There was complimentary breakfast, the coffee and waffles were pretty good. The only thing was the metal platform of the bed; I kept bumping it with my shoes/feet and it is very loud! But would definitely stay here again.

I gave Garden Inn 2 stars instead of 1 only because the manager and housekeeping staff were nice, and it was a good location. Upon my arrival, I discovered my room had two washcloths (one was dirty), two bath towels, and no hand towels or drinking cups. Housekeeping staff nicely brought me hand towels, a clean washcloth, and cups. There was a single towel bar in the bathroom that wasn't even wide enough to hold the two bath towels without them overlapping. There was no place at all to hang the hand towels; not in the bathroom, nor around the sink area. The most bizarre thing was that the shower, with nice 2" square tiles, had NO place to put a bar of soap or bottle of shampoo. I had to place mine on the floor of the shower or outside the shower curtain on the ledge between the shower and the rest of the bathroom. How could the designers or construction folks leave out some sort of built-in soap dish and a ledge of some type to put a bottle of shampoo on?! On the morning of my third day there, I got up early enough to go to breakfast. I arrived to discover that the waffle batter dispenser was empty. The desk clerk returned and I asked her if she could fill it. She said no, and said, "It's 9:30 already." As she said that, she showed me her phone, which had large numbers that said "9:21". She could have nicely said, "I'm sorry, but I'm not able to refill that for you," or something to that effect, but instead she wasn't very nice about it at all. Overall a disappointment.

Room smelled strong of bleach. The breakfast was a joke. Just coffee, juice, waffle mix. No pastries, donuts, or fruit

The room we stayed in was adequate for a short-term stay, but it didn’t offer much beyond that. Honestly, it might not be the best choice for families with young children, especially if you’re a germaphobe like me. We have two kids under 10, and it was challenging to keep them from touching everything and running barefoot on the vinyl floor which seemed to be not the cleanest. Upon closer inspection, the room appeared clean and well-maintained. However, it’s advisable to wear house slippers and exercise caution when handling surfaces. The shower pressure was lacking, while the sink pressure was satisfactory. The TV functioned correctly, and the refrigerator maintained a good cold temperature. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a chance to try the microwave, but the inside did seem clean. I noticed a few stains and dirt marks on the walls, so I believe they should perform deep cleanings at least a few times a week. The front desk staff was pleasant and accommodating, allowing us to check in at 10:00 PM. The breakfast offered a small variety of options, including make-your-own waffles, two types of cereal, coffee, apple and orange juice, boiled eggs, toast, and fresh fruits. Overall, the experience was just average.
