This property is poorly managed. Stains on carpet, pool nor hot tub working. No one could answer question as to why they didnt work. No p

I was upset with the swimming pool coz it looked very nasty and dark blue. Usually a swimming pool would look nice Clear and we can see the bottom of the pool but it wasn’t and my daughter and I wanted to swim but it looked awful nasty. Good customer service and friendly and the rooms were great!!

First room Beds had Not been changed ,Back to Desk Second room TV Picture Keep Freezing . The Manager (Who's Two Daughters work the desk ) told me the new cable boxes were just installed. AHH ok,SO I repeat My TV IS Freezing UP. She tells me "He will be back next week . She Did not offer to move us to another room The "hotel " sure was not full. The AC in the Breakfast Room was not working they had a fan running it was Hot. This Hotel is an old La Quinta now Baymont By Wyndham Fitness Equipment covered in dust , The Pool was closed we were told it had been closed for about a week due to poop in the water. It is an indoor pool! Should have already been drained. I feel ripped off .

This hotel is good for a safe night's rest with walkability to Walmart and a few restaurants, but I wouldn't consider it for a multi-night stay. This hotel needs major updating/renovations. As stated in multiple reviews, the hot tub doesn't work, and from my research, hasn't worked with any regularity for at least the last 6 years. Our top sheet was stained, and the sink and shower dripped without turning them off hard. The TV stand with cabinet and drawers appears on the verge of spontaneous disassembly, the chair in the corner was covered in stains, and I could go on and on. But the bed was comfortable and the AC was cold. So if you're looking for a place to crash for the night, this place might work depending on your level of what you consider decent.

Rooms need to have a deep cleaning. Accent chair visible dirty, had missing wall art but screws still in place, bathroom door had was cracked as if it had been hit, lamps had visible dust. Pool area was clean but was ice cold and spa was warm at best. The location was good for what we needed and the beds clean and comfortable.

Everything on the property was great. The only issues I had were the pool was a little murky and needed to be shocked. The hot tub wouldn’t turn on and was ice cold.

Property was in a good location. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Property had several amenities that we did not get to take advantage of. (pool, workout room) There were several options for continental breakfast. It was quiet we were able to rest in the evenings. The property could have had more available parking. Work was being done on one side of building so we were limited. The property itself needs a little updating, carpet worn and in need of painting. I would stay here again.

I was disappointed spa wasn’t working and indoor pool area not kept up well

Breakfast would have been good to have a little more such as eggs, bacon, sausage. The Jacuzzi / hot tub has not been working for years.....

Sheets on both beds were dirty with hairs, blood/body fluids on the sheets and pillows. No clean towels given to us or room cleaned and we stayed for 3 nights. Carpet very dirty and stained. Breakfast very limited selection.

The first room we were assigned had visible mold throughout the room, dirty bed linens and a dirty/stained mattress. The second room we were assigned was musty and had bugs crawling all over the walls and ceiling! The property was absolutely disgusting.

The staff was professional and helpful on check in. The room was clean and the bed and linens were is great condition and we had a good night's sleep on the bed. Firm but comfy.

The property was nice but when we got to our room there were a few issues. When you walked into the room there was a mold smell and in the bathroom on the ceiling there was some mold. One of the lamps in the room did not turn on. But overall it was a decent room. One good thing about this motel was the price. It was reasonable. The location was good and close to many attractions and highways.

The room I stayed in had black mold in the restroom ceiling and not just a little it was at least a 3x3 foot square of it. the chair in the corner of the room by the bed was stained and looked very dirty and unappealing to sit in. i would have asked for another room but we checked in late and had already unpacked, plus we were only there for the night.. In the morning i went to my truck and right as you exit the lobby there was puke. on my was back in i told the front desk attendant, all he said was "ok'' and hour later when me and the family were checking out the vomit was still there attendant was still just sitting watching videos on his phone.

There was bacterial growth (mold) in my AC unit and all over the window drapery. This is was a very unpleasant stay.

Dirty, old, not updated. We had plastic bags used in the shower head to keep it from leaking into the wall i guess? Just ugly, smelt bad as well, this place is AWFUL. Stay away. Also, forget a breakfast, its a joke.

The hotel was fine . The staff were GREAT!! Very friendly and very helpful. Very disappointed in the shower situation. Water was not very hot and the water pressure was VERY weak. The shower head needs to be replaced. Lighting was not good either. I could not wash my hair in the shower. Awful. I expected more from a Wyndom property.

First impression of the room was a flickering light bulb, and in another section that burned out lightbulb. The refrigerator makes a whining noise, and there is a horribly stained chair with everything coming out of the bottom in the corner. The staff was very nice, and the breakfast offerings were minimal, basically Walmart, yogurt, cereal, and some bagels. The hotel has seen better days, and frankly, I am surprised at how many things have holes in them or smell funny, that shouldn’t. Because we were here on a weekend where there were not a lot of accommodations available, the price was much higher than normal, so we did expect it to be a nicer place than it is. The name Wyndham is surprisingly still a part of it. Let me reiterate, the staff is very nice.

We had an unexplained fire alarm at 1:30 in the morning. The water pressure was awful and changed back and forth while showering.

Room was warm, carpets were stained, sheets had stains, shower lacked pressure, and air conditioner did not operate properly . Staff allowed parking under front entrance which forced people checking in to park around the building and walk to check in area. Bed was comfortable. Will not recommend or stay at this facility again.

I had to leave the AC stopped working. I had booked it and paid for it for three days only used two days.

Overall my stay way just OK. The staff was ok also, not rude just average. My biggest complaint was that the room was not that clean. The carpet was dirty and the furniture was well worn in and unkempt. I wish the rooms could have been cooler the a/c didn’t seem to get very cold. Being that the hotel wasn’t very full, I feel that the staff should be mindful of placing families above someone that’s on the first floor. We were placed by a room on the first floor that was near a side door that was broken, there was no need to use the access card because the door stayed open all the time. Things that I did like was that the beds were comfortable and the linen appeared to be clean. The tv and the selection available was decent also. I will be looking elsewhere next year.

It is very old. Our first room the lights were out in the bathroom. They got us another room that was fine. The carpet is old and frayed. The shower had very little pressure, the bathroom door would not stay open so had to use the trash can to hold open and a panel on our window was broken.

The room was very spacious and the bed was excellent. Very comfortable.

Our room was very large, it had a whole seperate room from the bedroom. It was very comfortable and the a/c ran great.The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was okay, there were waffles, cereal, yogurt and toast to chose from. We would definitely stay again.

The lack of communication of house keeping and no communication with staff about breakfast hours

The two ladies at check-in were very nice. Breakfast was supposed to be at 6:30. The first morning I went down at 6:35. The doors into the breakfast area were locked. No one was at the front desk. I rang the bell. A man there said he had already rung it twice. A couple of minutes later a woman came out and didn't even acknowledge me. I finally asked if there was going to be breakfast. She said, "What are you looking for?" I'm thinking, well, food. She said, "Coffee?" I said, "No. Breakfast." It was almost 6:45 by then. She said to give her 15 minutes. I waited close to 20 minutes and she was still not ready putting out a small selection of cereal, milk, juice, a few bananas, a couple of apples, bread and muffins. The second morning I went down at 6:40. The doors to the breakfast area were open, but the lights weren't on. The same lady from the day before was putting out juice and milk, and there was nothing else. When she came back out from the kitchen with cereal, I asked her if there was a light switch, and she said she'd have to turn it on. I sat in the dark for another 6 or 7 minutes while she put out a couple of things, and then she finally turned on the lights. It took her a few more minutes to bring out bread, muffins and small danish. Coffee was still there from the day before. This lady didn't get in any hurry. I would understand being late one morning, but being rude and late again the 2nd day and not caring that people were waiting will keep me from returning.

Was a good one day stay. Had to travel because of a hurricane knocking power out to my apartment. The Baymont was a life saver to have A/C and power for a day! Friendly staff all very welcoming. Would stay there again!

No housekeeping. Phone didn’t work. TV buffered regularly. When this was reported to the desk, I was told that there was no one available to fix things. I asked if someone could handle it the next day, and nothing was ever addressed.

when arrived waited for about 10 mnutes no front desk staff had chosen to pay at property they said no had to go through hotel.com there were lots of nats in room tv was not working asked for late check out and was not noted

Great customer service and hospitality

The excellent staff is what made this stay amazing. Very accommodating and kind! Loved the front desk lady and the cleaning staff!

I have been staying at this property since it opened as a LaQuinta. This was my first bad experience in many years. The rooms are not being cleaned. I checked in Monday afternoon. When my daughter and I returned to the hotel on Tuesday afternoon, our room was as we left it that morning. I called the front desk and said I would like to get fresh towels. I was told rudely to come down and get them. Wednesday when I returned the room was still not cleaned. I called the desk and was told I was not on the list to be cleaned but she would put me on the list for today. I said my trash was overflowing and I needed service. The person finally agreed to send someone. The housekeeper cleaned the bathroom and emptied the trash. I left this morning. I don’t plan to return here. The prices are doubled or more because of antique week in Round Top but provided no service this time. Greatly disappointed that I need to find new lodging in Brenham.

Easy checkin and receptionist very polite and kind. Clean and quiet.

A few things bothered us. Like bathroom sink missing stopper. Not the nicest place, but staff very friendly. Room was clean. Excellent location.

Our stay was just for 1 night. Convenient to amenities such as restaurants, shopping, etc. Staff very friendly. Hotel was very clean. Only comment was A/C was off in room leaving it smelling musty when we first arrived. After about 10 minutes with A/C on it subsided.

Formerly a La Quinta which Wyndham obviously rebranded due to lack of business. There were very few guests here. It’s very clean in every aspect. Breakfast amenities are not what La Quinta offers. Enough dining possibilities within several minutes walk or drive. I’m building a home in a neighboring area and would definitely stay here again during our construction.

Hardly any water pressure at all took 15 mins to get shampoo out of my hair it’s like a fast dripping water Breakfast is crap only dry cereal and waffle NOTHING accept coffee to drink

Friendly people, fairly clean, breakfast options very thin and terrible water pressure .

The breakfast was minimal. I thought people were just being petty about the rooms needing updating. But they are not the metal framing around the bathroom doors are rusty and the leather chair is all cracked and peeling and you would not want to sit on want it. The bed was comfortable, and the heating and air conditioning worked wonderfully.

Baymont is a great place to sleep… but breakfast is non existent… very sad… good hotel.. terrible breakfast

It was a good stay, however it could have been better as the commode rocked a bit, the bed was too high for a 5 ft 2 in person, the carpet was torn & the office chair had a chunk out of the arm. Also for the money, we paid, there were no proteins on the breakfast bar.
