Room was good but fitness center needs upgrades.

The hotel is clean, the staff friendly. The restaurant was only open for breakfast. There are zero restaurants within walking distance.

We booked this room to use the Whirlpool. We couldnt use it because it wont hold water. We should have booked a cheaper room.

Very convenient location, efficient checkin and checkout, price reasonable; room and bed were very comfortable. We were grateful for the free parking and were even able to use the gym! We would stay again!

Reasonable cost meeting the needs of the customer including breakfast, gym, ample parking and other related amenities. Will come back.

All good except the elevator, which seems too old. Anyway, I did enjoy staying here and will definitely stay here again if I visit this area.

It was convenient to where I needed to be. It was clean, but the only complaint I had was the jacuzzi tub wasn't working properly and I had to call down to have them "flip the breaker switch" each time.

The fan in bath sounded like a airport not a hotel bathroom also they should stop advertising bar and grill when not open for more than 2 years.

Cards didn’t work at all we had to have the guy reset 3 times and still didn’t work so they used the master key to let us in the shower leaked every where even out side of the shower so the floor and counter top were soaked. The whirl pool bathtub was wet and dirty when we went in the beds are hard and so are the pillows

Overall is not bad. Fitness room can be improved. Running machine is quite outdated. An addition of a weight bench should be considered.

The room is not clean and there is toilet paper on the bed.

Ant infestation. I checked in at 11:30pm. First floor room, rm201. Immediately found many ants crawling on the tables in the room. I called front desk night staff to come right away. He came and used tissue paper to kill some ants. I asked to be changed to different room and they said they are fully booked and unable to. Later I found large number of ants on the walls, on lamps, outlets, bathtub, and most frightening on the bed headrest. I have video evidence of all of this. I called night staff at 2am again and he said he’s unable to help me and I just need to wait until manager come in morning at 8am. I could not sleep all night. I could not unpack my belongings in fear of the crawling ants. I went to talk to manager at right at 8am and had to fight to get a full refund. She said she’s never heard of this ant problem before so it’s all new to her. Initially the hotel tried to offer me a free night of future stay. They said since I booked through Expedia I need to call them for the refund. I fought them to give me a hotel written confirmation of the refund, including the reason for refund. After a long fight, they only provided me with a vague letter stating “the guest expressed dissatisfaction with their stay and has requested a full refund”. They did not acknowledge the ant issue at all in the letter. I booked the hotel through Expedia, I called Expedia and they were helpful, they called the hotel and then promptly issued the refund to back to me right away.

Very clean

I have a lot to say about this property but my biggest concern is the cleanliness. I found hair that didn't belong to me all over the bathroom. I took a towel and I wiped the outside of the tub and it was so dirty. I took a towel and wiped the inside of the tub and the shower walls and they were dirty. I took the sheets off of the bed and there were hairs underneath the sheets so I'm not sure if that was even changed. The toiletries are not personal size, they are terrible quality. The hallways smell like smoke and the staff are not friendly. The phone also doesn't work. The breakfast was meh...the lady who handles breakfast just stares at you. There isn't any room service and the restaurant attached is temporarily closed. The curtains are stained and has holes in them. I also didn't see any vending machines anywhere.

The room was not cleaned adequately. The carpet was sticky/crunchy in spots, the remote was greasy, crumbs in the drawers, there was what looked like mucus on the wall. The hotel itself smells musty and damp. Not close to most amenities. Everything I bought from the vending machines was expired. Loud hammering and work happening outside my door, when I called to the front desk to see what was happening she said shed ask her supervisor then never returned to the call. I would not stay here again.

The bathroom was very dirty. There was hair everywhere in the bathroom. The hair daryer looked like someone vomited on it. The coffee machine inside the room had mold because a wet coffee bag was there I don't know from how long ago. I don't recommend this place at all. One star is too many for this place.

Bathroom sick was all clogged up. Very noisy all around. The place overall felt old and outdated. Very small tv but good choice of channels. Breakfast was good lots of choices. Will not go back unless some renovations are done. Staff overall very friendly.

Very comfortable bed.

The rooms on the street side of the hotel experience significant highway traffic noise. If booking again, I'd definitely avoid rooms above #15 on each of the floors. The decor does seem a bit dated, but that would not impact my choice. The shower has the standard 'low flow' shower head but I did not have any issue with hot water nor pressure. The stay was overall good.

Very comfortable beds, liked our room layout, clean room

Unfortunately our room faced the busy QEW highway, Traffic noise persisted all night. Breakfast area was very warm, not comfortable.

The only complaint I have is for the pillows. They are terrible and the curtains in our room had a bend in them so the sun beam shines in your face in the morning.

The only downside is the highway noise from being on the QEW side of the hotel

This property is right beside the highway.And it is very noisy if you're facing the highway.

This hotel is dated and could certainly do with some renovations, however it is clean and is a good place to stay for a night if you’re visiting the area. Close to the highway and only a short drive to downtown with ample parking around the hotel.

The room was quite nice but we had trouble getting the TV remotes to work. The front desk wasn’t able to resolve the problem. The other issue we had was the location of unit. The room was facing out to the Hwy where there’s traffic all night long. It was very noisy so we didn’t sleep very much the first night. The second night we had the air conditioning on and that helped reduce the HWY noise.

Deeply disappointing experience, during my recent stay. The individual on duty displayed a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy. Upon arrival, the staff member appeared disengaged and dismissive. When I inquired about the security deposit, I was told—incorrectly—that the deposit amount was $150 instead of the $100 stated in my booking. Despite my polite clarification, the employee insisted on this “rule,” even demanding to see my phone to prove his point. After failing to find any such policy, he neither apologized nor corrected his tone; instead, he threatened to cancel my reservation if I refused to pay the higher amount. Once I reluctantly paid, he handed me the room key. When I asked for two empty glasses, he refused, claiming there were none available, and then proceeded to step outside for a smoke directly in front of the entrance. The entire encounter was unprofessional and unacceptable. It created a hostile first impression and ruined what was meant to be a relaxing weekend. I expect that this incident will be reviewed seriously and appropriate measures taken to ensure guests are treated with basic respect and professionalism.

Room quality is below average and not worth the price at all! Should have stayed in Delta in Mississauga! Breakfast was ridiculous to be called such! I haven't seen a single person in this building smiling even if you smile at them and ask them how they were! Worst, after confirming with reception about late check out, housekeeping open and come inside while I'm sleeping and ask while I'm in bed what time I'm checking out. And the do not disturb sign was outside! Not worth it, don't waste your time looking!

Check on was fast and efficient. Staff were helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was very good. Parking is easy, and its clise to shopping, the 403, and dining.

Hotel tried to charge room deposit at 9am PRIOR to check in. When my CC company flagged it as suspicious the hotel threatened to cancel our reservations. Got that sorted out by providing ANOTHER card number. Was told breakfast was from 7 to 10am...but upon arrival to the breakfast room at 9:02am, they were out of 80% off what they serve. We were told flat out that there is no more. Terrible service. Will NOT be returning. May even avoid ALL Monte Carlo Inns. Was told these issues wrre due to "hotel policy".

The front desk staff was unprofessional. The woman at checkout didn’t greet or thank us, and seemed in a bad mood. Another man spoke rudely during check-in and went silent when I asked what was wrong. Disappointing customer service overall. otherwise room is good and breakfast is good too.

All the staff was super nice and made our stay enjoyable

Front counter guy was really nice and the check in was easy. There was a family giving him a hard time about the room deposit (which I thought was standard) and he kept his cool and was very polite. Rooms are very nice and clean, you can cast to the TV which is handy

Room was clean. We were in a room on the ground floor next to the stairs/exit. Every time the stairwell door closes or the next door room closes, we hear a loud bang. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay. Location is convenient for our purposes. It’s 5 min drive from the Train station to go to Toronto or other provinces within Canada.

Great location, short walk to train station. Clean, not fancy but has all the essentials.

I wanted to be left alone, I was left alone, what more could I ask for? Rooms were nice, staff was welcoming. If you don’t have a car it’s kind of inconvenient. But What actually surprised me was how close to the Go station the hotel was, in a matter of 30 mins I was in downtown Toronto. All in all it was a very positive experience.

Convenient location close to QEW on/ off ramps,.very friendly staff, decent breakfast ,all included and all for a fair price.

Staff polite and professional. Clean, comfortable room. Hot coffee and close to Go transit to get to downtown Toronto. I the hotel a 4 out of 5 because they don’t serve a full hot breakfast. Bread, muffins and coffee is not sufficient especially the fall and winter when there’s no restaurants in house nor close. You definitely need a car if you’re staying here. With a hot breakfast it would come closer to a 5.

Great stay- comfortable room, good continental breakfast. Quiet and super duper cleanliness in room and throughout the building. Very clise to Oakville Go Station for access unto Toronto. Highly recommend this Hotel.

It was ok. Surface renovations done. Clean. Everything you need. Very Basic Breakfast with a few options; no hot foods. No frills. Bathroom was the worst. Had not been upgraded. Mould or dark spots where patch-caulking is done (terribly). You know what I mean. Mildew and bleach smell was horrible. It was a 2 star bathroom at best. The bathroom is the most important spot for me on whether I come back to a spot or not. This spot is a NOT for me.

Clean. Comfortable smaller than expected but definitely not a deal. Killer felt luxurious even though the fireplace was electric. Who cares? It was really nice and relaxing getaway and something that I would want to do again on purpose versus just needing somewhere to stay. The breakfast was outstanding better than other hotel breakfasts, especially the coffee and the majority of the staff make you feel at home. Highly highly recommended
