Atlantica Holiday Village Rhodes

Lovely pools and gardens everywhere. Big rooms although a bit old. Lots of brits. Water park was great. The big negative was the main restaurant. Food was more on a 3 star level here and extremely noisy as well.

We stayed 2 weeks my husband and I and really enjoyed our stay over there. Everything was perfect. The view was incredible, the restaurants as well. Many thanks! I recommend!

L'hôtel est idéalement situé sur Kolymbia, avec une vue magnifique sur les montagnes environnantes. C'est un hôtel familial où la gentillesse du personnel et leur serviabilité sont remarquables. Hôtel avec un parc magnifiquement bien entretenu. La grandeur des piscines, le nombre de chaises longues permettent d'en profiter pleinement . Le buffet est varié et de bonne qualité Juste un tout petit bémol, il manque peut être quelques tables et chaises autour des bars Nous avons apprécié les sorties proposées via un service de navettes qui permettent de visiter entre autre Rhodes, Lindos etc...

Stayed here as a family group of adults and older teens and unfortunately the resort did not deliver anything close to the advertised 5-star experience. The resort was clearly not fully operational for a large part of our stay. Several advertised facilities were closed or unfinished for nearly half the week. The noodle bar did not open until Monday despite us arriving Friday, the Paaru adults-only bar was closed for several days, and the Irish bar was still being renovated until Tuesday. This was especially frustrating as the Irish bar was advertised as the main indoor venue for live sports and evening entertainment. Because it was unavailable, we had to leave the resort and spend extra money elsewhere to watch major games. It also meant there was effectively nowhere comfortable indoors to sit during the cold and rainy weather, despite travelling with elderly parents and specifically considering indoor facilities when booking. Food was another major let-down. The buffet was repetitive, basic and nowhere near 5-star quality. Despite themed evenings being advertised, there was very little variation night to night and the buffet was often chaotic, with items running out well before service ended. Drinks were often machine-made, overly synthetic and poor quality, and there was nowhere to get a proper fresh coffee during the day. Most concerning was the incorrect food labelling, with vegan marked items listing milk, fish or egg allergens even after concerns were raised

The bathroom for the room I was given the first night wasn’t draining water properly. However my room was changed that night. The porter was really kind and lovely, apostolius (not sure I got the spelling correctly). The next day, I noticed the floor of the room wasn’t entirely clean and so I used the floor towel to wipe around. By the time we got back from breakfast we in morning, I noticed the cleaner paid attention and actually mopped the entire floor. Special thanks to the cleaner ( Augustine) who was observant and paid attention to that. The food wasn’t great for a 5 star with Limited options. I have been to 4 stars with better food options, taste and quality. The Greek night was okay compare with others. I think they can do better with the food options and taste. The people who deserve special kudos are the entertainment guys ( pedro and Agatha) and some of the kids club staff. They are super amazing especially Lara, Jess, Lia and the assistant football coach ( Joao). The entertainment is great for young kids. Older kids, 10 and above might not enjoy it that much. Most of the pools are super cold except one which is quite small. I think the main plus is the service you get from the staff itself. Hotel quality isn’t bad but there are better ones.
