Didn’t really get to explore or experience much at the Lake Resort. The cafe is closed on Monday and Tuesdays. I was a little sad about that because I wanted to have dinner and a drink after a long fay of work. It was okay though I slept great in a clean and quiet cool bed.

We arrived at 8:01pm Sunday evening. I wasn't able to get a response to the door bell in the lobby. A note on the office door stated " No response to bell after 8pm. My wife called a # listed on a property sign. The person she talked to was a former employee who was now out off state. Her explanation of the situation was not encouraging. As we sat in our car trying to determine our next move Jackie arrived. (She had recently taken over the management. ) She informed us that she would call the owner and try to resolve the situation. To make long story short, our $$ was refunded thru Expedia by the owner 's request. Thanks Jackie and the former manager (I ve forgot her name). Their efforts saved the day.
