We loved our stay at the McCabe Coffs Retreat. The house had a fantastic layout and was perfect for the family. However, being an accessible, purpose built home, I would have expected to see “grab rails” in the shower and toilet areas of the main ensuite. The absence of these made it a little bit harder for my elderly mother to navigate the bathroom. The home is in a great location, central to shops, restaurants and main roads. I highly recommend this house.

We had a great stay at McCabe House. The location is great, close to Coffs Harbour city centre and added bonus of a cafe across the road. The pool was warm and the kids enjoyed swimming each day. The kitchen is large and the property offers indoor and outdoor dining. Staying with my disabled mother , this property was perfect for us to enjoy time away as a multi generational family.
We had a great stay at McCabe House. The location is great, close to Coffs Harbour city centre and added bonus of a cafe across the road. The pool was warm and the kids enjoyed swimming each day. I was a Coffs local for 25 years so I know the legacy of this house and the community. I had family from Qld and Victoria stay with us and the size and the open areas plus the pool was fantastic.I few small suggestions there is a lot of switches in the house including one in the laundry that controls the hot water these need to be labelled as we had no hot water for 24 hours when someone turned the switch off a simple label would have prevented this. Special mention to the maintenance bloke Tom who cleaned the pool twice while we were there and was very helpful with other things on our visit. Thankyou we will be staying again
