This is owned by the Beekman Arms Inn in the center of Rhinebeck., which is where you check in, and where continental breakfast is served in the morning. It is an older motel, that is nicely updated and quaint. It is about 1/2 mile south of town on Rte 9. It I much less expensive than the main Beekman Arms Inn. Overall a very good value.

Property has seen better days. There were a number of dead roaches in the room as well as a fly. The room smelled like a wet dog which makes sense because I think this is a pet friendly hotel. But clearly they don't make enough of an effort to properly clean the rooms. Also the main office is apparently always closed because when you get there there is a piece of paper taped to the door that tells you to go half a mile away to pick up your keys. I personally believe that there should be somebody on site as a basic standard of hospitality. The "ice machine" is an old igloo Cooler on the front walk.

We chose this motel because it was dog friendly and very convenient for visiting Rhinebeck friends and family at Easter. For Rhinebeck, the price is superb! All staff was accommodating and friendly. The only drawback is that the check-in, place to get more towels and breakfast is a mile away at the Beekman Arms. We were very happy with our stay.

Outside Property is outdated and unkept. It was inconvenient to check in at a different location. There is no ice machine. The room was decent and clean.

Good place for families as the room was very large. Bathroom, bedding and rug were newer. Fridge does have a separate freezer section for cooler packs. bring an ice cube tray, no ice machine at this location. The coffee maker was not keurig but packets. not walking distance to Rhinebeck but quiet. If you can not be too picky then this will be fine, it's all in your attitude. Breakfast was very basic but enough for a good start to the day, you have to drive there. bagels, hard boiled eggs. pastry, fruit etc.

One story small inn where you can park in front of door. Everything was clean and orderly. Nice size room with 2 queen beds. Only stayed one night. Price was reasonable. Would stay again

This was my first stay at the Rhinebeck Village Inn and I would have liked to have given it an "excellent" overall rating vs the "good" one it received. First let me say that my room was immaculate and the location perfect as it is just outside town. My recommendations that would have made my stay an excellent experience vs a good one. Firstly, provide onsite check in for your guests. It was very inconvenient to have to go into town and check in at the Beekman Arms. Parking in town is very limited and if you can find a spot in the lot behind the hotel there is no way to enter the hotel from the lot. The appearance of my room at the motel greatly contrasted with it's outside appearance. The outside of the motel looks very run down. The parking area had ample space but was unpaved and covered with puddles and I did not like having to drag my luggage through this muddy mess. Next, there is no place to put your toiletries in the powder room, A counter with sink would be a simple fix to replace the current pedestal sinks. My last and most important suggestion would be to replace your toilets. The last time I saw toilets this close to the floor was in an elementary school. I know that sounds funny but they are so low I consider them a hazard to anyone with joint issues. I don't know how they would be able to get on without falling or be able to get back up again once seated. All that being said, I would stay at the motel again but, why be good when you can be excellent!

The trip went very well…and the hotel went well too. Rhinebeck town was fantastic! There were some things that were great at the Village Inn and two that could use some work. Good: Good hot water! Great beds! Great sheets and warm! Not so good: A dead mouse on the floor. I threw the mouse outside and then figured to take the picture for evidence! Plus the TV didn’t work, Room 11. All in all, we will do it again at the Village Inn...dead mouse or not! LOL! It was great to be there! Tom

Poor, old & worn not very clean condition. Some surfaces had NOT been cleaned well at all. Smelly air conditioning. Dirty carpeting, dust on some surfaces. Bathroom door & handle in very poor condition - if not careful you could get locked in the damn bathroom! It appears that management is absent, no one really cares or checks condition of the rooms or property. Poor condition of parking lot looks like it belongs at a rundown out in the woods place or a shop that has recently gone out of business. I've stayed at worse, but ONLY when nothing else was available. Do NOT stay here unless you have NO other choice.

The Village is very conveniently located at walking distance from downtown with all the restaurants and amenities. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Just have to use cable. During our stay our channel choices were somewhat limited. • Little overpriced. Felt like $130 for one night is a little overpriced for what you're getting

The room was musty however the staff responded quickly with a dehumidifier. A can of Lysol helped as well. This is a no frills motel but the room was large, bed and linens were surprisingly comfortable (linens were excellent), tv has HBO and Showtime. Wi-Fi is iffy so conducting virtual meetings was a bit of a challenge but it was manageable. It’s less than a mile from town. Overall, It was a lovely stay.

This property is usually an economic alternative to other overnight venues in the area, which we need & appreciate. The rooms are basic, clean, and comfortable. The heating/ cooling units are a bit loud, which is my only complaint.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay. That being said the room could use an upgrade to the carpeting and overall decor. The bed was quite comfortable and it’s so close to town and affordable that it’s a great option for those who want to take in the sites and enjoy Rhinebeck.

Rooms are clean and large. Although is no frills, certainly is nice to have fridge and microwave. Pet friendly and room to walk the dog. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I knew it was a cheap motel but there was a musty smell and the mattresses and furniture were very tired. The door had glass panels at the top so the walkway light streamed into the room all night long. It was not worth it, even for a night. We also needed to drive to a sister hotel for a continental breakfast, which was okay. I needed to get on the road early and the breakfast opened at 7:30am, which was a bit late for me.

Check-in was half a mile from rooms. Little or no parking for check-in at Tavern. Long wait at check-in aro7nd 3.30 pm. No sidewalk or other way to walk from check-in, or dining room, to bedrooms. Wifi in bedrooms was pretty much non-existent.

The hotel room was spacious and clean. But the glaring light through the door windows that I couldn't block made it difficult to sleep. Also, the curtains leave a gap on either side, letting light pour in in the morning. And the beds were on the hard side.

We booked a room at about 6:30 pm and arrived at the property about 7:30 pm. The office was closed and there were only two cars on site. I knocked, rang the bell, and honked my horn. Another customer heard the commotion and informed me that we had to register at the “white hotel” at the center of town in Rhinebeck about a half mile away. We drove into town, found the Beekman Arms hotel and registered. The registration clerk said Expedia should have provided check-in information. We did receive an email from Expedia with check-in information at 1:14 am the following day (by then useless information). We were also informed that the free breakfast was located in another building near the center of town. Had it not been for another customer explaining how to check-in, I would have been out luck for the evening. That said, the room was excellent and the free breakfast was good.

I reserved a room online that showed two available rooms. When I got to the motel the office was locked up and no answered the door. I called the number listed on a sheet of paper in the window and the person who answered my call told me there were no rooms available. I called my bank to contest the charge for the nonexistent rental.

Very quiet, clean property, and a quick drive to the Rhinecliff train station. Nothing is walkable (except one small restaurant), but that makes traffic & parking easy. I do hope they get full-time staff on site - it's inconvenient having to check in & get breakfast back in downtown Rhinebeck, & there is no one around at all most of the time.

Management was really accommodating as they had us switch rooms because of a cleaning hiccup. Our new room was so comfortable and we got to enjoy amazing continental breakfast with homemade baked goods! We picked this place because of the price; one of the more affordable options in the area!

Awful No staff on site. So couldn’t check in. Another guest told us the owners had another place a mile away. Had to go there to get key They had forgot to send email to inform us of this. Rooms dark, run down & grubby. Fridge made loud banging noise every few minutes. There is zero care or customer service here. Breakfast is not on site that’s also over a mile away Never again

We received ample instructions from hotel management on access to the room by email and a phone call. The unusual aspect was that we had to check in at a different hotel and a complementary continental breakfast at a third hotel. All three properties are managed by one company. The staff was very helpful about answering our questions. The selection at breakfast was good. The room had a microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, air conditioner and hair dryer, all working and in good conditioner. There appeared to be no hotel on site, but there is a phone to the front desk at the main hotel, which is staffed 24 hours per day. Ours was the cheapest of the three hotels/motel.

They gave me a key to room 7, when I tried to open the door a woman called out from inside saying she was in that room. Luckily I did not enter and invade her privacy. And luckily there wasn’t a lunatic with a rifle that would have shot me for trying to enter the wrong room. You get what you pay for I guess…

This is a cozy spot close to town. Parking right out front. The staff was excellent and very attentive. We had two minor issues which were quickly solved.

Was a very good stay with comfortable beds and 10 min. walking distance to Rhinebeck Village. Room was large and comfortable with all the basics. Only downside was a musty smell in the room. But overall was a great value and enjoyable stay.

It's convenient for us to stay at this property when visiting family in the area. It's close to the center of Rhinebeck and Red Hook, so we have several choices for eating.

My 6 year old son and I were dropped off at the RHINEBECK VILLAGE INN --- EXPEDIA stated and confirmed that this was located RIGHT in the CENTER of the village of Rhinebeck. This is NOT the case. The "inn" which looks much more like a MOTEL -- is in the middle of a highway. NOT reachable by anything other than a car. I do NOT have a car / do not drive. When we arrived there was NO STAFF on site. My son and I were stranded there. NO way to check in OR at the very least leave our luggage so we can look for an alternative accommodation. AWFUL experience and EXPEDIA MISGUIDED me / us!!! I would NOT recommend!

Incredibly clean, great location, staff couldn't have been more helpful. They gave us an upgrade as returning guests. You are so close to the town of Rhinebeck and it's wonderful!

Good place for families as the room was very large. Bathroom, bedding and rug were newer. Fridge does have a separate freezer section for cooler packs. bring an ice cube tray, no ice machine at this location. The coffee maker was not keurig but packets. not walking distance to Rhinebeck but quiet. If you can not be too picky then this will be fine, it's all in your attitude. Breakfast was very basic but enough for a good start to the day, you have to drive there. bagels, hard boiled eggs. pastry, fruit etc.

It's a lovely clean room, lots of space, and they clean daily. It's half a mile walk from town so don't stay if you don't like walking and don't have a car. Ubers are available but it takes a while. However, my friend and I had a great time and I would stay again in a minute!

The Village is very conveniently located at walking distance from downtown with all the restaurants and amenities. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.

This is owned by the Beekman Arms Inn in the center of Rhinebeck., which is where you check in, and where continental breakfast is served in the morning. It is an older motel, that is nicely updated and quaint. It is about 1/2 mile south of town on Rte 9. It I much less expensive than the main Beekman Arms Inn. Overall a very good value.

First of all you check in at a different location and there is no staff on site. That place looks like Schitts Creek! There was an outside light on all night that shined into the room and illuminated it! Room was damp and decorated with furniture from a tag sale. Breakfast(served 630-10 at another location) was a joke. I arrived at 930 and there was a couple of pieces of toast and a bit of fruit and packaged oatmeal. When I asked if they could refill bagels or muffins the person working answered me in another language and did not seem to understand English. Very disappointed and frustrating. The property where the breakfast was served was very pretty.

The Inn is part of 3 affiliated hotel/inns- the main hotel is home to a historic tavern. The breakfast is served at the conference center and is a very decent spread, including a gluten-free bread. Tavern is charming and great food. The Inn is less than 1/2 mile away and was surprisingly quiet. Spacious rooms with just about anything you need. Downtown area has great shops and restaurants. View the Hudson driving over the bridge to Kingston.

The door had glass panels at the top so the walkway light streamed into the room all night long. It was not worth it, even for a night. We also needed to drive to a sister hotel for a continental breakfast, which was okay. I needed to get on the road early and the breakfast opened at 7:30am, which was a bit late for me.

I knew from reading previous reviews that it was an older establishment so the worn carpet, chipped grout/bathroom tiles didn’t surprise me much. I did have to use disinfectant wipes all around the room before unpacking though (a first for me). Breakfast was available at another inn .6 miles away (go early as I overheard others complain about breakfast ending early when the food ran out). Housekeeping was done as well.

Horrible hotel! The smell of musty mold is overwhelming when you walk in the room. There was a moldy coffee pod in the coffee machine. Our sink had a drain problem, which the staff attempted to fix and just left the sink snake in the garbage. On the day we checked out the sink had sprung a leak. We called the front desk to report it and they didn't seem to concerned. We left with the leak spraying into the garbage can with all the towels around it. The bathroom light fixture was exposed, with no cover on it and the link/mold/debris around the motor and light were gross. When I booked the property it looked like it was located in town, it was actually 1/2 mile down the street from town. We didn't take advantage of the continental breakfast because it was 1/2 mile away at a different hotel and opened so late it didn't work with our schedule. The bed and bedding were comfortable and the room, linens and towels were clean, so we stayed at for the two nights we booked, but we'll never go back.

Everything was very clean. Check in / out process was very simple. Breakfast was good. However we didn’t have hot water in the shower for two out of three days and tried calling and leaving messages for the front desk that were not returned.
