Point Lonsdale 1 Bedroom Apartment

Owner was very easy to deal with very pleasant will return again

Stayed at Point Lonsdale Apartments recently — great location, but overall disappointing. Advertised as 4-star, but felt closer to 3-star. Rooms are older and could use a more thorough clean (noticeable dust). The “premium bedding” didn’t live up to the claim either — very firm beds and wafer-thin pillows made for an uncomfortable stay, and we ended up checking out early. Biggest issue was the lack of transparency around access — there was no mention of four flights of stairs to reach the apartment. This was particularly concerning as my mother had a near miss with a fall. We asked about cancelling the remaining nights due to this, but were told it would only be considered if the room was rebooked, regardless of the fact the listing did not mention so many stairs. Balcony overlooked the cemetery, which may or may not be your thing. Point Lonsdale is a great spot, but we wouldn’t stay at Point Lonsdale Apartments again.

We enjoyed that it did not take long to drive to other places of interest, such as Queenscliffe, Ocean Grove and Barwon Heads. Point Lonsdale shops were quite nice too. The property is a comfortable size. The rooms were quite spacious and furnished with just what is needed.

Property was clean and comfortable but the windows needed a good clean.
