Parking was right in front of my room, very convenient. Very quiet area but I was there mid week. Considering it was at the rear of the hotel and the main street was at the front, very quiet. There is no breakfast available, which was pointed out on arrival but there are there are very nice cafe's in the main street, all in a short walk from the hotel. Did not eat a meal in the hotel, as I was visiting friends in the area, best part was the location I could walk to their house. The room was clean and comfortable, even had a spa bath (which surprised me for the price), I have paid more for less and smaller. I would stay here in the future when I visit the Barossa from Perth WA.

The room was well priced, clean and comfortable. I was in the area to attend a motorcycle event as a an official and just needed a bed for the night. Location was close to hotels, restaurants & takeaways so I was able to dine in my room and get an early for a very early start in the morning. Parking was off street and right outside the room. Perfect for what I needed, I will choose this location to stay again when I’m in Tanunda.

We stayed in Rm 3. The room was comfortable, quiet, conveniently located in the city with easy walking distance to the local supermarket and other shops. Parking was plentiful and off street. However, as a bare minimum I expect a reasonable shower. There was a little mould in the one corner but more annoyingly our shower ran hot and then cold, even if it was turned off and on again several times. Not ideal when washing my hair and it was 7deg. outside! The fridge's icebox was so frosted up that we couldn't open it to use it. Overall, it was a convenient mostly comfortable place to stay, I just hope they sort out the issues, particularly the water heating.

Very reasonably priced room in the main street in Tanunda so you can park the car and walk just about everywhere. Our room had a spa bath in it too. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The meals were great too.

We were made to feel welcome by staff. Room was spacious; bed was comfortable; area was quiet & parking was directly in front of unit at the back of hotel in main street. Perfect location! Provision of a microwave would have made it a perfect choice!

Just stayed 1 night, the room was clean and well maintained. Comfortable bed and had all the amenities needed: fridge, kettle, tea, milk and cutlery/ mugs/ plates. The only down side was the shower, the water was either boiling or freezing. It would be a good temp for 1-2 minutes then freezing/ boiling that would take 5+ minutes to fix it.

We stay here regularly. It’s very central and close to everything we like. The rooms are quite dated but always clean and comfortable. Shower is great. The area is quiet but the walls between rooms are thin and you can hear your neighbours. This is really our only negative.

Staff, Paul in particular, was fantastic. Check in was fast and easy, told Paul we had a show to go to, he was onto it and got us a table for dinner so we could eat before we headed off, outstanding service from this gentleman! Thanks Paul :) Only negative, would be the room. Suggestion: Bedside lamps would be nice to have!!

We booked the room with bath tub but only had a shower. Check in was fine, just went into the pub and got the key. Room was clean and a decent size and tucked behind the pub so quiet. There was only one small drinking glass which was a pain. In the morning we were walking back through the gate from the main street and a woman came out and said she was locking the gate to get through to the rooms because the pub was shut - was a bit rude. Also, I managed to leave my water bottle in the fridge and only remembered once we had locked the door with the key inside. We called them but no answer and pub shut so had to leave it there.

We booked the room with bath tub but only had a shower. Check in was fine, just went into the pub and got the key. Room was clean and a decent size and tucked behind the pub so quiet. There was only one small drinking glass which was a pain. In the morning we were walking back through the gate from the main street and a woman came out and said she was locking the gate to get through to the rooms because the pub was shut - was a bit rude. Also, I managed to leave my water bottle in the fridge and only remembered once we had locked the door with the key inside. We called them but no answer and pub shut so had to leave it there.

Owner is not very friendly. Tiles in the shower looked like they were about to fall off,hot water took ages to get hot then it would go cold tried to adjust then went too hot. Shower had sliding panels that were hard to open & close. Aircon unit was old. Bed was comfy & cleaners done a good job. Bathroom really needs updating.

Was happy with the location and the safety and quietness of location, with easy car park out front. limited for food dining however must remember to eat before 8pm in future on a weeknight in this area. A good night sleep if you are in transit and recommended. TY

Was happy with the location and the safety and quietness of location, with easy car park out front. limited for food dining however must remember to eat before 8pm in future on a weeknight in this area. A good night sleep if you are in transit and recommended. TY

Right in the centre of the main street but the units are set well back from the noise. Decent room, the only negative was inconsistent water temperature in the shower. Good range of dinner options in the dining room.

The Valley Hotel units are a great budget central option for those visiting the Barossa for wine tasting. Large size rooms with adequate but basic amenities. So easy to access Tanunda's restaurants on foot after a day on the tasting trail.

Hands down the best spot for accommodation. Its not new. But new doesnt = good. I have stayed at really expensive places and some really cheap places, this is the perfect bang for your buck, you feel like you get more for less. This has older shower heads for amazing showers, non of this new fancy showers that are water saving and give terrible flow. This has old school shower heads that have amazing flow great pressure its immediately relaxing. The heat pump is also great. its not new, but the new ones suck. its worn in and doesnt make you feel stuffy, normally I cant handle sleeping with them going. But the one I had was perfect. It sounded like rain on a tin roof it actually made me go to sleep The location, its out the back of a pub, you can just walk in for a pub meal for tea, or you are very close to all the other pubs / restaurants Sadly I felt the food at the pub was very small portions for the things I ordered, not really worth it imo, but there are other options very close. I did run into the cleaners they immediately asked if i needed anything, very friendly and approachable Sometimes if its busy cars will park in the accommodation parking, but they normally move pretty quickly must be people trying to find a spot for lunch / tea As someone that used this for work in the surrounding area its a 10/10
