Excellent hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and professional. The rooms were spacious and the gym was possibly the best gym I've ever had in a hotel. The only comment I'd make to fellow travellers is that the provided shampoo, conditioner etc is all natural and doesn't have the usual lather and scent that you may be used to so you may want to bring your own. That said, very happy with my stay there and would recommend it to others.

Great location, stylish hotel. Breakfast was superb as was the gym. Only downside is the rooms were a little dark due to the interiors and we found the lighting difficult to work out for the room. The only bar was also shut on2 nights for a private function which we found poor as we like to have a pre dinner drink and after dinner drink. You could have a drink in the bistro area but it wasn’t the same. However it wouldn’t put me off staying here again for a decent rate per night .

Great area, close to public transit, fantastic restaurants nearby, and close to art museums. Currently, restaurant is closed for dinner, but there are good places nearby. Rooms are small but very well appointed.

Det var et fantastisk hotel. Kult interiør, amazing seng, sengetøy, stort rom. Og plassering midt i Mitte. Kort vei til alt. Veldig kul bar på hotellet .. og deilig sauna og trening. Ville absolutt booket igjen.

Great hotel, the building has lots of character and rooms are spacious and stylishly decorated with views of the park. Location was perfect with lots of shops and bars in walking distance, close to the Hackescher Markt S-Bahn station too if you want to go further afield. Breakfast was excellent, a varied selection of cold meats and cheeses, yoghurts, fruit and pastries alongside hot food. The hotel bar served fantastic cocktails, though it was a shame the Root restaurant space now operates from the hotel bistro (breakfast area) and had only a limited number of options on the menu. The beautiful atrium space is now for events, as a hotel guest I would have loved to dine there, especially as the atrium is so heavily featured in marketing photographs. There was a conference and a wedding party using the facilities whilst we stayed at the hotel, which made the breakfast area quite busy, however staff dealt well with this. Overall, a great stay and I would happily return.

Beautiful historical building. Best location. The Hotel has a great potential not fully expressed. Daily cleaning not very good. Some receptionists doing great some other just sitting and not focusing on clients. Very helpful for parking, they saved me. Breakfast managing confused, must improve (cups and bowls missing almost every day, food ID tickets missing, one day with orange juice the other one not and so on...)

The room was booked for our 25th wedding anniversary. Loved every minute of our stay. Decent location which was quiet in the evenings and only a 10-15 walk to some of the main city centre attractions. Complimentary bottle of bubbly on our anniversary which was a nice touch. Room was described as 'cosy'. Whilst they may be smaller than other rooms, the high ceilings give a sense of space. Lovely clean room. The lighting can be a challenge to get right....! Breakfast was excellent. Large choice with the buffet with extras available to order. Staff very polite and friendly. My wife is a German speaker and the staff recognised this and conversed with her in German as opposed to switching to English. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. Thank you in assisting in a memorable 4 day stay in Berlin.

Rooms have a generous size, area is good, but everything else was either terrible or mediocre at best. First day I put the sign to privacy and came back to a cleaned room! All products were exchanged and none if rte dispensers worked, I had to take them all out, unscrew them in order to being able to use any. Next day when pouring a cup of tea the cup was broken so the table incl my computer etc were soaked with hot water. Had the sign to clean and came back to an unchanged room with only two cups put on the desk - it was absurd Despite me bringing this to the front desk attention, there was no note or anything from the management. We had several folks from our company staying at this place and literally everyone had multiple issues. Such a poor experience. Given the price you certainly expect more.

Imposing building recently renovated steeped in history. Room was very spacious overlooking the Berlin TV Tower. Check in was easy, welcoming as was the superb room we had. Breakfast is first class and we enjoyed it twice. Check-out went smoothly too and they held our bags so we Could do more touring of Berlin. Will be our go-to hotel for all things Berlin in future.

Lovely hotel. Good location and delicious breakfast! Would recommend the bar for cocktails and a nice ambience. However staff were inefficient and not very apologetic when things went wrong. When we checked in they took a credit card for incidental costs and also charged the full room rate for 3 nights stay plus breakfast, which we had already paid for. At a restaurant on our first night, our overseas payment card had insufficient funds as they had wiped out almost our full balance. All very embarrassing and time consuming as we had to contact the bank, transfer funds and wait for identity to be validated etc. to pay the bill. It took until our day of departure before the funds were returned, over 900 Euros!!

Imposing building recently renovated steeped in history. Room was very spacious overlooking the Berlin TV Tower. Check in was easy, welcoming as was the superb room we had. Breakfast is first class and we enjoyed it twice. Check-out went smoothly too and they held our bags so we Could do more touring of Berlin. Will be our go-to hotel for all things Berlin in future.

El hotel es bonito y limpio, lo único malo fue que pedimos más ganchos pues teníamos 4 para una estancia de 6 días para dos personas y nunca nos los proporcionaron a pesar de pedirnos varias veces. Igualmente las habitaciones no cuentan con plancha y así mismo la requerimos y nunca nos la llevaron

Amazing hotel! From the lady on reception checking us in to the guys behind the bar serving us cocktails the service was exceptional! Obviously helps if you are nice too. The receptionist arranged our room immediately even tho we arrived before midday. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

The breakfast gave the impression of bad planning: too small amounts catered for too many guests. Very slow reaction by the waiters to requests from the guests! They basically seemed inexperienced to the task!

Rooms have a generous size, area is good, but everything else was either terrible or mediocre at best. First day I put the sign to privacy and came back to a cleaned room! All products were exchanged and none if rte dispensers worked, I had to take them all out, unscrew them in order to being able to use any. Next day when pouring a cup of tea the cup was broken so the table incl my computer etc were soaked with hot water. Had the sign to clean and came back to an unchanged room with only two cups put on the desk - it was absurd Despite me bringing this to the front desk attention, there was no note or anything from the management. We had several folks from our company staying at this place and literally everyone had multiple issues. Such a poor experience. Given the price you certainly expect more.

Old structure with a modern update of just two years. It's got a warehouse feel built around 1910 but has all modern fixtures. Great German engineering and design, especially the bathroom. Just a few minutes walk to central Berlin, it feels sequestered in a quiet corner of the city and just few yards from the river. Great hotel. Loved it; if I return to Berlin it will be in no small measure to stay here again.

Great hotel, the building has lots of character and rooms are spacious and stylishly decorated with views of the park. Location was perfect with lots of shops and bars in walking distance, close to the Hackescher Markt S-Bahn station too if you want to go further afield. Breakfast was excellent, a varied selection of cold meats and cheeses, yoghurts, fruit and pastries alongside hot food. The hotel bar served fantastic cocktails, though it was a shame the Root restaurant space now operates from the hotel bistro (breakfast area) and had only a limited number of options on the menu. The beautiful atrium space is now for events, as a hotel guest I would have loved to dine there, especially as the atrium is so heavily featured in marketing photographs. There was a conference and a wedding party using the facilities whilst we stayed at the hotel, which made the breakfast area quite busy, however staff dealt well with this. Overall, a great stay and I would happily return.

This is right by museum island and in the middle of a great gallery district. Other galleries are a short M5 away. The hotel is very cool, but good for 60 year olds too. The staff have great restaurant recommendations. Fun and cool in the best sense of the words.

Amazingly well-designed. The rooms are spacious, breakfast is not buffet style but the food is very tasty and there are a few options to choose from. Location is impeccable, very near to museum island with lots of beautiful buildings around. Definitely recommended

Beautiful historical building. Best location. The Hotel has a great potential not fully expressed. Daily cleaning not very good. Some receptionists doing great some other just sitting and not focusing on clients. Very helpful for parking, they saved me. Breakfast managing confused, must improve (cups and bowls missing almost every day, food ID tickets missing, one day with orange juice the other one not and so on...)

Great location, stylish hotel. Breakfast was superb as was the gym. Only downside is the rooms were a little dark due to the interiors and we found the lighting difficult to work out for the room. The only bar was also shut on2 nights for a private function which we found poor as we like to have a pre dinner drink and after dinner drink. You could have a drink in the bistro area but it wasn’t the same. However it wouldn’t put me off staying here again for a decent rate per night .

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Telegraphement, and overall, it was a delightful experience with a few notable exceptions. Pros: • Exceptional Service: Upon my early morning arrival, I intended only to drop off my luggage. However, the front desk staff went above and beyond to accommodate me, striving to secure an early check-in. • Delicious Breakfast: The breakfast offerings were impressive, with both the coffee and food meeting high standards. • Comfortable Room: Facing inside the courtyard(?), my room provided a tranquil and cozy retreat, ensuring restful nights. • Prime Location: Situated adjacent to Museum Island, the hotel offers immediate access to cultural landmarks. Additionally, numerous restaurants and the charming Neun Drei cafe are just a short stroll away. Cons: • Inconsistent Dining Options: I was disappointed to find the Root Restaurant closed due to a private event on my first day and not operating at all on the second. This limited my dining choices within the hotel. However, drinking and dining at The Root Bar was a great experience. Gustav was a very accommodating. • Bathroom Design Flaw: The shower in my bathroom had drainage issues, leading to water leakage, exacerbated by the poor floor design, suggesting it might be a known issue that hasn’t been addressed. The hotel and room were great, clean and well designed, and really friendly great staff too. My only issue was the air conditioning didn’t seem to work at all for our room. The staff tried to help find us another room but after looking at other rooms on the floor we realized the air is just not strong enough or great in any of the rooms. They offered us a fan which helped greatly, just be aware the air conditioning is not really strong or doesn’t work as well as typical North American standards.

We booked the hotel without really knowing the area or the hotel at all and lucked out completely. The room was superb, the staff (both reception and otherwise serving) were all on point even working hard to recommend an excellent restaurant for my wife's birthday dinner. We will be back for sure, thank you.
