Mauna Kea High Bluffs Home

Very impressive property, a well appointed kitchen (my go-to priority when booking a rental), comfortable furnishings inside and out, and a very sweet local kitty to boot! We stayed here 10 days with my family to celebrate my niece and nephew's graduation, everything was clean, welcoming, and ready to go for our arrival. There was only one day that the surrounding construction (which we were fairly informed of beforehand) got to be a bit much, but it wasn't bad at all otherwise. I wish we'd realized the property didn't offer recycling services ahead of time (it's spotty on the island, apparently), so I felt like we crammed the garbage cans with accumulated recycling more than normal on the last day. None of my nitpicking dampened our experience, though, perfect sunsets, colorful bird visitors, fresh poke or grilled fish prepped in the lux kitchen, and a relaxing float in the pool every night. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Loved our stay!! The online listing and photos are accurate. It’s a beautiful home and amazing location and view!! Mauna Kea resort pass was well worth it. Hapuna and Mauna Kea beaches are amazing! Westin pools and amenities were great. Property manager communication was excellent and easy. It all exceeded expectations!!

Perfect home away from home for a family vacation. Beautifully appointed and equipped and the private pool is a huge plus. Breathtaking location and view. Could not have asked for anything better for an anniversary trip with family.

Ten days in a beautiful, sootless, spacious home with four master bedrooms and huge open living area and chef level kitchen. Steps away was the in ground heated pool and hot tub. Gates neighborhood on the Mauna Kea resort overlooking one of two golf courses on the property and incredible view of the Pacific Ocean. The sunsets are breathtaking.

Highly recommend! We've lived and stayed in homes all over the Big Island and this is now officially our favorite. Amazing views, very smart layout/floor plan, very tasteful furnishings and art through out. In addition to the unit itself, it's in a great location to experience the best of Hapuna and Mauna Kea so you'd never leave. But if you want to, location provides easy access up to Waimea or down to Kona. Property Management company was also great to work with and made the stay seamless.
