Wow! This place was amazing. We were here in the off season and had a great experience - especially with our room upgrade! Front desk service was fantastic giving us plenty of recommendations. Every space, including the pool, was exceptionally clean and well kept.

Residencias Samara is an oasis within the oasis of Samara. From the friendly staff to the comfortable rooms, Residencias Samara was the perfect homebase for the Samara leg of our honeymoon. We found it to be wonderfully relaxing and well situated within town and close to the beach. We spent a significant portion of our time enjoying the pool when not at the beach or the great restaurants nearby. We would definitely pick Residencias Samara again on a return trip in the future.

Very enjoyable, well managed condo style property 2 blocks from one of the most amazing beaches you’ll ever visit. Great little pool to cool down (or to swim in the hot rain), and very friendly and attentive staff. Sámara is a gem and so is this place. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Had a wonderful experience at Residencias Samara. A stones throw away from everything in Samara, bakeries, restaurants, beach, activities, swimming and live music. Rooms are well equipped clean and spacious. Fans and AC work well. Kitchen well appointed. Shower had plenty of hot water. Laundary facilities provided. Pool was great and staff was great for arranging activities and giving useful advice. Would highly recommend this location.

We are a family of 4 with kids ages 7 and 12. This place was absolutely perfect for us. The friendliest staff and super clean. It has all the necessities for cooking if you'd like but it's also right in town near all the restaurants, groceries, shopping and the beach. We stayed at 5 different places in Costa Rica on our trip and this was by far the best accommodations. It is updated really nice and the pool area is really nice as well. The bedding was really comfortable and there's in room wifi. Another nice feature is that there is a key lock box outside the front door so that you can lock the apartment but not have to take the keys with you. They also have a laundry service if you need it. We used it and it was great. Don't hesitate to book this place.

We had a really nice stay at Residencies Samara with my family. The place was immaculately clean and very comfortable. It was about a block down to the beach, and the hotel let us borrow boogie boards and sand toys for our kids. Our kids loved the pool. We felt very safe there. There were lots of restaurants within walking distance. Our kids did surf lessons with Tico's Surf School and had a great time. We contacted the property for recommendations on things to do in the area, and they recommended and set up a dolphin boat tour for us with Samara Adventures. We were picked up at the property, and had the BEST day. We saw tons of dolphins, several humpback whales.

I really enjoyed my time at Residencia Samara. The location is perfect—close to the beach, restaurants, and everything you need, yet still quiet enough to relax. Das einzige was uns ein bisschen gestört hat ist das kleine Badezimmer. Doch der Rest der Wohnunh war gross und geräumig, deshalb ist das nur eine kleiner nicht so wichtige Kritik.

Notre chambre donnait sur la rue principale et nous avons trouvé la circulation (motos et 4 roues) très bruyante. C’était le seul désagrément. Excellente communication via WhatApps, merci pour le très bon service. 👏

Had a wonderful experience at Residencias Samara. A stones throw away from everything in Samara, bakeries, restaurants, beach, activities, swimming and live music. Rooms are well equipped clean and spacious. Fans and AC work well. Kitchen well appointed. Shower had plenty of hot water. Laundary facilities provided. Pool was great and staff was great for arranging activities and giving useful advice. Would highly recommend this location.

I really enjoyed my time at Residencia Samara. The location is perfect—close to the beach, restaurants, and everything you need, yet still quiet enough to relax. Very enjoyable, well managed condo style property 2 blocks from one of the most amazing beaches you’ll ever visit. Great little pool to cool down (or to swim in the hot rain), and very friendly and attentive staff. Sámara is a gem and so is this place. Wish I could have stayed longer.

The property is split between 2 buildings - a beachside building and another about 2 blocks away. That is why you see pool views and beach views in the listing. We stayed in the inland building with the pool and could not have enjoyed it more. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. The living room furniture left something to be desired, but truly, we did not use it much. The staff were excellent setting up tours for whale watching and turtle egg-laying so we couldn't have been happier with the help they provided. The breakfast service was excellent, but the venue was even better - right on the beach behind Tico's Surf School. The hotel provides folding chairs for the beach.

We had a great time in Samara! The apartment was a perfect size for our family of 4. Great location - so close to little shops, bakery and restaurants. The apartment and pool area was very clean. The included breakfast was delicious! We always felt very safe and appreciated the entry by code and lock box so we didn’t have to carry keys with us. They also assisted us with an amazing turtle egg laying night excursion. It’s a short walk to the beachfront property (where breakfast is served). Beach pictures are a little misleading. Yes, lounge chairs are available but there isn’t much room to use them. In front of the building is a surf school that has palapas for rent; meaning you can use the hotels chairs but not directly in front and no shade found. I think they have 1 umbrella to use but one of the other guests was using it. Overall, we loved Samara and loved this place and would definitely stay here again.
