Peony Cruises

The cruise was above average in terms of staff, rooms, organization. My only fault for the cruise was over cooked sea foods, mostly chewy chicken and roast beef. There was plenty of food that helped to compensate for the other over cooked stuff.

The staff were excellent and very accommodating throughout the stay, in particular with our allergen requirements (gluten). The transfer process was easy to arrange but be aware that a member of staff will contact you via WhatsApp so you’ll need internet access a day or two beforehand. The room we had was spectacular and very clean. All round a great experience and would highly recommend.

The staff are fabulous. They always had a smile and couldn't be friendlier.

The trip to the island was a wasted day. No real purpose to the trip.

We did the 3 day 2 night cruise and the extra day allows for a better experience of Ha Long bay with the activities provided by Peony. The staff on the cruise are very welcoming and provide a professional service, Candy who was our waitress for all our meals was exceptional. A special mention also to Elvis who organised most events and provided some local history information during the activities. We are happy we went with Peony Cruises
