Its a nice place if you dont want to deal with people at a reception desk. The vew is amazing. Only thing was the filter in the hot tub needed to be changed. But im shure that happens all the time. I cant rate the staff because I didnt see them at all it was great. Beds where super comfortable.

The room was amazing with a great view. The hot tube was clean and ready to be used. We meet other guests at the upper fire pit. I think almost every guest came over to say hi. There were S'mores kits for everyone. The morning breakfast was great with a good verity of hot food. This will be a go to stop when ever we pass thru again.

Arriving we tried to unlock our room, and we could not get the electronic lock to work, we had to call to ask how to make it work. We finally got in our room to find out there was an adjoining door to the room beside us that wasn't stated in the room description. Day 2 we couldn't lock or unlock our room at all and had to be given a Key and were told that it would be fixed that afternoon, but it never was. There were opened, used body wash bottles and Shampoo/conditioner left in the shower, only 1 bath towel per person. The AC smelled like mold every time it kicked on. The K-cup coffee machine in the room had mold in the water tank. They need to set up time slots for each room to use the hot tub or each room needs their own. The hot tub down the back steps lights wouldn't work so everyone came to the one by our room (4) they were loud and playing music while they were in it and we felt like we couldn't go out on our balcony since the hot tub was right there. We were extra pleased with our stay at the Inn. There were many surprises that we didn’t know about. The grounds were beautiful with flowers and a fountain. It was so charming. There was a hot tub for guests and a nice pool. Also, a central gathering room called The Sky Box to meet other guests or have get togethers. Our room was wonderfully decorated and we had a fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker. The bathroom was stocked with spa quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash that was divine. Our favorite part was our balcony and view from Lookout Mountain to the Tennessee River and Chattanooga. It was so convenient to Rock City, Ruby Falls and Chattanooga. We loved our stay there very much.

Beautiful spot with very nice views. Close to much of the attraction spots. Helen was the sweetest and answered all questions we asked. Also, free laundry! Definitely recommend this spot and we will be back!

This place is the most comfortable inn I've ever stayed in. I stayed 3 nights and it felt like home. Very comfortable and beautiful view. Every day cleaning people were there cleaning hot tub , swimming pool and the patios. Loved it can't wait till I come back. I recommend lookout mountain Riverview inn to everyone. 5 star for sure or more

Quaint intimate mountainside inn nestled among the landscape. Breathtaking views, king size comfortable beds with individual balconies. There are two oversized jacuzzis, fire pits with s’mores, an outdoor pool, and a fully appointed indoor/outdoor common area with outdoor balcony seating, Loved it! Will revisit!

Very cute, updated Inn! Very very clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable ive every slept in! The mattress, sheets, and pillows all very comfortable. The toiletries are amazing smelling and very refreshing! The balcony has spectacular views. We absolutely loved our stay in Unit 7 ❤️

Everything about our entire stay was excellent! No problems, very clean, cozy and well appointed. Enjoyed the Smores after we got the firepit going... with a night time view of Chattanooga. Very comfortable bed and pillows, slept like babies. Wonderful sunrise! Breakfast provided something for everyone and was very tasty. Would have liked to spend more time there... maybe next trip!

We were in room 3. The bed was comfy and beautifully decorated, room clean, deck amazing, garden was gorgeous, view was spectacular. The only thing was the doors were very thin and we could hear the neighbors in the connecting room speaking. They were not speaking loud at all, but it sounded like they were in our room. It put a bit of a damper on a romantic weekend that ended up not being so romantic.

It feels like you step back in time to a much simpler and laid back pace. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. New everything with a 1940's style of room layout. The view is stunning with the Tennessee River in the foreground and Downtown Chattanooga in the background, as you look north you can see the city lights like shining jems in the night.

Great location and a very nice updated room for an old building. Our room was clean and comfortable. Gave it a 4 because of road noise when sitting on our private balcony, also loud ac when siting on balcony while trying to enjoy the lovely view of the Tennessee River.

Good rooms but tight space for family. No river view if you get 9 or 10 suite numbers. Difficult if you have luggage to carry down the stairs. Breakfast was decent but no proper riverview from the lower deck was disappointing

We enjoyed a relaxing overnight stay at the Riverview Inn. The property has a charming, historic feel, and definitely fits the “rustic retreat” vibe. The view overlooking the river and mountains is breathtaking. We especially loved sitting in the rocking chairs (really nice touch) on the balcony and using the hot tub while watching the river bend below. Breakfast the next morning was surprisingly good, with warm options and thoughtful touches. Future guests should know that the inn is located close to I-24, so there is some highway noise. There is a Publix and a Walgreens at the foot of the mountain which was very convenient. It's also located just down from Ruby Falls. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere overall was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the abundance of pillows on the bed, the fluffy white robes, and the in-room Keurig complete with coffee pods, sweeteners, and creamers. The Roku TV was really nice as well, as we could log in to our personal streaming services. If you’re looking for a cozy, charming place to unwind and enjoy the scenery, especially as a couple’s getaway, this is a lovely spot. We’re glad we stayed.

This was our first time to stay at Lookout Mountain Riverview Inn cabin. The description does not do justice to the actual views. You will experience in person. The cabin was absolutely perfect for my wife and I to stay and the view from our balcony over the mountains and chattanooga were breathtaking. Esta is the manager and hosted breakfast in the morning at the skybox room just two doors down from our cabin. My wife is dominican, and we were both made to feel very welcomed as if we were visiting family. I can't say enough great things about this location, the people we encountered and the views. we will definitely be back.

Beautiful spot with very nice views. Close to much of the attraction spots. Helen was the sweetest and answered all questions we asked. Also, free laundry! Definitely recommend this spot and we will be back!

Check in was horrible. I recieved notice of renters agreement. Iooked but wasnt yet in my email. I thought i fill it out when i get there. There is no front desk. Filled out in my car. They sent me a code that didnt work. Called number lady said been having problem with lock. Sent new code didn work. She opened it manually. Sent me 3rd code to use. I didnt use did not leave the room the entire stay for fear of being locked out after hours.

The code was not working when we arrived. Took about 30 minutes of calling and asking for the code to get in and we realized that Some of the rooms DO NOT have private balconies even though the pictures online show a private balcony. I asked to be moved any it took a very long time to say they don’t have any other rooms. Also the power went out for 3 hours, our food went bad. They would not credit us for any of our stay.

Location is convenient close to Ruby Falls and you get a beautiful view from the deck. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was nicely furnished. Nothing better than waking up to the sound of nature in the morning.

We absolutely loved this place. So quaint and private and very clean.. the extra details were amazing. Gorgeous views and very convenient to Ruby Falls, Rock City and Lookout Mountain Incline. We loved everything about it. Will definitely plan a trip here again in the future. Perfect for couples!

The lodge had been remodeled and the work was great. Still in the process of renovating. Bed was extremely soft and not to our liking. No comfortable chair of any kind in the room. Had to lay in bed to watch tv. Balcony was great with 2 rockers. Biggest problem we were on the mountain and no food of any kind. We would have carried food if we had known that we had to drive the curvy road up and down the mountain. Did not even have bottle water. But it was very quiet and fine for one night.

We enjoyed a relaxing overnight stay at the Riverview Inn. The property has a charming, historic feel, and definitely fits the “rustic retreat” vibe. The view overlooking the river and mountains is breathtaking. We especially loved sitting in the rocking chairs (really nice touch) on the balcony and using the hot tub while watching the river bend below. Breakfast the next morning was surprisingly good, with warm options and thoughtful touches. Future guests should know that the inn is located close to I-24, so there is some highway noise. There is a Publix and a Walgreens at the foot of the mountain which was very convenient. It's also located just down from Ruby Falls. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere overall was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the abundance of pillows on the bed, the fluffy white robes, and the in-room Keurig complete with coffee pods, sweeteners, and creamers. The Roku TV was really nice as well, as we could log in to our personal streaming services. If you’re looking for a cozy, charming place to unwind and enjoy the scenery, especially as a couple’s getaway, this is a lovely spot. We’re glad we stayed.

Exhausted hungry and tired. Lookout Mountian Riverview Inn did not dissapoint. From a near by restaurant, on site hot tub and the best nights sleep we have had in days. Helped us continue on in our travels home to Florida.

The room was amazing with a great view. The hot tube was clean and ready to be used. We meet other guests at the upper fire pit. I think almost every guest came over to say hi. There were S'mores kits for everyone. The morning breakfast was great with a good verity of hot food. This will be a go to stop when ever we pass thru again.

Everything about our entire stay was excellent! No problems, very clean, cozy and well appointed. Enjoyed the Smores after we got the firepit going... with a night time view of Chattanooga. Very comfortable bed and pillows, slept like babies. Wonderful sunrise! Breakfast provided something for everyone and was very tasty. Would have liked to spend more time there... maybe next trip!

The Riverview Inn is an excellent property. If you book thru Hotels.com. Riverview Inn will send an email to you via Hotels.com. The email has a hyperlink with check-in procedures. Everything is done electronically. Your “door key” is an electronic key code. Without the electronic key code, you will NOT be able to get into your cabin. Since there is no on-site staff, you’ll have to call a number to get help. It’s real easy to access the cabin once you have the code. It looks like the property was updated recently. Everything looks and feels new. My only squawk was the view from King Room 1. There are two overgrown trees that block most of the view of the Tennessee River. No other room has that issue. Breakfast was standard but very good. Breakfast staff was friendly and very helpful. I definitely will stay here again when my wife and I revisit Chattanooga.

We loved this charming mountain retreat! The room was nicely sized and decorated. Nice touches like robes and plush towels, a bottle of wine, and scented soaps. The bed was comfy although a little creaky. The balcony had two rocking chairs and provided a lovely view of the city and the river. I watched a sunset and a beautiful sunrise. There are two hot tubs and a pool which we did not use. A nice free breakfast was served daily in the sky deck room which was a beautiful lounge with a big balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here!
