Great historic hotel with charming, clean and well maintained rooms. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and provided excellent service. Food and drinks were delicious. Continental breakfast was also included each morning as well as snacks and water being available throughout the day. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Old historical charming friendly hotel. Staff and food was great. Close to concert at theater. Parking is limited due to age of hotel. It was like stepping back in time. :)

Nice staff and cozy hotel with beautiful restaurant downstairs. Loved walking over to the theater for an evening show after dinner! My birthday dinner was perfect… food was 10/10 and it was very special to make a personalized menu for me. Get there before dinner rush/showtime to be able to park in the lot, limited spots. Overall, would definitely recommend! Thanks!

Lovely historic hotel situated a 1 - 2 minutes walk from Sellersville Theater (where there host regular exceptional world-class concerts -we just saw Wishbone Ash!) Excellent service from the beginning to the end of our stay! The food at their restaurant was very good & reasonably priced. You order complimentary breakfast the night before by checking off desired items from an ~4 x 10 menu; when you show up at the restaurant in the morning, your food is ready & served promptly. Excellent! What may be a challenge for some: they do not have an elevator so be prepared to climb 1 - 3 flights of stairs. Our only complaint is about the bed: it slanted down from your feet to your head (i.e. your blood would flow to your head). So, we flipped the sheets making the foot of the bed the head of the bed, which worked ok for us. If the bed was better I would have given 5 stars.

Very unique decor for historic hotel, but with modern amenities. Very good food and service. Glad to have an elevator for heavy bags as most historic hotels do not have elevators for tired travelers who have lugged up luggage just days prior to this locations. What a relief! Loved the mini-refrigerator hidden in side table.

I liked that check in was quick, and they had a lounge on second floor you could use to relax, have a few snacks that were out, and could use their computer in the room. Nice they served you breakfast in their restaurant the next morning, and it was on time. Pretty good choice for breakfast considering a small hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only thing we did not like, was we came back from a dinner around 8:30 pm, and the people attending the theater next door, had taken up all the parking spots in the nearby parking lot. We had to park way down in the lot which was a good block away. We could have moved our car later on, once the theater was closed, but we had no idea when the show was over, so we just left it where it was. At least the far away lot was lit up.

Perfect location next to the Theater, which was why I chose it. Lovely old building, cozy bar/restaurant, new bathroom in our room. We had 3 adults sharing the king suite with sofa bed and it worked out just fine. Small fridge in the side table. There was a cute guest lounge, stocked with fruit and other goodies. Parking was easy in the adjacent lot.

No breakfast served to the room like the previous stay.( Very disappointing!) Overcharged for the drinks.( menu said $14. They charged me $15 per drink) then they were very rude until they found out they were wrong!! Found a used tissue in the room provided robe. Sewer, gases smell in the bathroom and thick dust in the bathroom fan. Yuck !! Canceled my future plans for this place. Very disappointed!!

Conveniently located next to the Sellersville Theater (great venue for concerts). The hotel restaurant downstairs is very good. For an older building, the Washington House Hotel is well maintained and is very clean and comfortable. I've stayed here more than once and I will stay here again when I am in the area for another show.

Such a lovely stay. Rooms were clean, beautifully decorated with comfortable beds - including pullout. Breakfast was such a nice touch. Staff was incredible- very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant - food was delicious and again, staff was wonderful. Looking forward to another visit

Although we only stayed for one night, we thought this was a quaint historic hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was nicely updated. The scones at breakfast were very good!

Very nice unique stay. We stayed one night in the tower suite, and it was excellent if you plan to spend time in your room. Very modern bathroom. Beds were decent but not the most comfortable we’ve had. Service was very good. Restaurant was very nice. We especially liked the private sitting room on the top floor.

Nice, old fashioned hotel in the center of a small town. Cool retro restaurant and bar with good food on ground level. Room not fancy with older furniture but perfectly comfortable. Really nice staff and was perfect for a one-night stay.

The service was incredible. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Hotel and restaurant were in impeccable condition and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay, except that it was too short. Made to order and individually set up breakfast spread was a nice touch.

Fantastic staff - always available to assist with any needs. The restaurant serves high-end, excellent food. While it was fully booked, they seated us without a reservation, and the service, and as I noted, the food was awesome. The #1 place to stay and eat when in Sellersville!

With the negative exception of a single exceptionally unpleasant waitress who then ended up overcharging me, everything else was pleasant and adequate. Really liked the food, every kind and helpful staff member i met, the spotless, cozy room and the steps-away old tiny Sellersville Theater! I’ll be back. If that same spiteful waitress is there, I can eat somewhere else in town but the Washington House was great! Kudos to management who leapt on the “mistake” and come morning had one of all their other kind staff hand write out the corrective measures taken. I’ll never forget that gesture.

With the negative exception of a single exceptionally unpleasant waitress who then ended up overcharging me, everything else was pleasant and adequate. Really liked the food, every kind and helpful staff member i met, the spotless, cozy room and the steps-away old tiny Sellersville Theater! I’ll be back. If that same spiteful waitress is there, I can eat somewhere else in town but the Washington House was great! Kudos to management who leapt on the “mistake” and come morning had one of all their other kind staff hand write out the corrective measures taken. I’ll never forget that gesture.

Conveniently located next to the Sellersville Theater (great venue for concerts). The hotel restaurant downstairs is very good. For an older building, the Washington House Hotel is well maintained and is very clean and comfortable. I've stayed here more than once and I will stay here again when I am in the area for another show.

Nice staff and cozy hotel with beautiful restaurant downstairs. Loved walking over to the theater for an evening show after dinner! My birthday dinner was perfect… food was 10/10 and it was very special to make a personalized menu for me. Get there before dinner rush/showtime to be able to park in the lot, limited spots. Overall, would definitely recommend! Thanks!

My boyfriend and I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at the Washington hotel in Sellersville Pennsylvania. We came for a concert at the Sellersville theater, and stayed at the hotel, which is on the same block. It was super convenient to check into the hotel, rest for a bit, and then go to our concert, and then walk home to the hotel for a good nights sleep. The Washington hotel is a great choice if you’re staying in the Sellersville area. Breakfast was really lovely.

Lovely historic hotel situated a 1 - 2 minutes walk from Sellersville Theater (where there host regular exceptional world-class concerts -we just saw Wishbone Ash!) Excellent service from the beginning to the end of our stay! The food at their restaurant was very good & reasonably priced. You order complimentary breakfast the night before by checking off desired items from an ~4 x 10 menu; when you show up at the restaurant in the morning, your food is ready & served promptly. Excellent! What may be a challenge for some: they do not have an elevator so be prepared to climb 1 - 3 flights of stairs. Our only complaint is about the bed: it slanted down from your feet to your head (i.e. your blood would flow to your head). So, we flipped the sheets making the foot of the bed the head of the bed, which worked ok for us. If the bed was better I would have given 5 stars.

Washington House is the perfect getaway for a couples weekend. Pair this with a show at Sellersville Theatre and its truly perfect! Enjoyed the dining, bar, breakfast and comfortable bed. Sellersville Theatre is a true gem and acoustics are amazing!

No breakfast served to the room like the previous stay.( Very disappointing!) Overcharged for the drinks.( menu said $14. They charged me $15 per drink) then they were very rude until they found out they were wrong!! Found a used tissue in the room provided robe. Sewer, gases smell in the bathroom and thick dust in the bathroom fan. Yuck !! Canceled my future plans for this place. Very disappointed!!

Great historic hotel with charming, clean and well maintained rooms. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and provided excellent service. Food and drinks were delicious. Continental breakfast was also included each morning as well as snacks and water being available throughout the day. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

I had an absolutely wonderful one night stay at the lovely Washington House Hotel! The decor is charming and classic. The room was cozy and comfortable. The staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant was a foodie’s dream. I most definitely recommend and can’t wait to visit again soon!

Such a lovely stay. Rooms were clean, beautifully decorated with comfortable beds - including pullout. Breakfast was such a nice touch. Staff was incredible- very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant - food was delicious and again, staff was wonderful. Looking forward to another visit

The room was very hot. There was 1 small window AC unit that was not capable of cooling the room properly. The curtains had to remain open in order to get any cooling. Leaving the curtains open left us no privacy. I had to hang a T-shirt and stuff a pillow over the top window so no one can see into the room. The remote control was dirty and very sticky. The air vents were covered in dust. The towel for the floor in the bathroom had a big stain on it. This was extremely disappointing for the price they charge you to stay here for one night. I expected much better.

It was a very pleasant stay over-all. Here are just few things worth noting: A. The air in the room was a ... little "stuffy". The interesting thing was that the room had a full mini-split AC on the wall, but in stead of that working, there was a window AC unit that was VERY loud and worked non-stop all night. Not too bad, but noticeable. B. They advertise "breakfast included", and for some people that don't really have breakfast, that may be all their need, but I would call it "breakfast items", not breakfast. Hot serial or quiche were only available for additional charge, other than that, options were a muffin (english muffin included), a bagel, scone, yogurt, some cream cheese, some juices, coffee, tea and (1) boiled egg. That is IT. You had to CHOOSE which of those items you wanted the night before and they would serve those to you at specific time that you also had a privilege to choose. Again, not a major issue, but you should know....
