Very comfortable, clean. A little creaky, whoever was above us the floor creaked pretty loudly, we were on second floor. Other than that, our stay was lovely, breakfast was excellent. Loved the wine, beer and soda set up to serve yourself and the hands off approach to check in , breakfast, check out, etc was great.

The cottage was so quaint and lovely! Loved the fact that it was a self check-in. It is spotless and the host is so kind and a lovely person! She also is a fantastic cook as she made my husband one of the best breakfast burritos he's ever had! The rooms are just stunning as are the grounds and the rest of the house. There is a antique-ish vibe inside and it's just lovely! We will most certainly be returning and recommending to other people! The small touches the host added made the place so much more wonderful! For example, there is a fridge with plenty of cold drinks, fresh cookies, popcorn for while you watch a movie, s'more packs so you can roast s'mores in the backyard, crafes of wine to have a quiet drink, and plenty of board games for a rainy day. It also isn't extra large so you can definitely find space to spread out as there aren't that many guests even if the Inn is full.

We LOVE to stay there in such a beautiful place! It is so relaxing. Only complaint was there was nothing to drink on the piano bar and fridge was locked up durning the hours of drinks. Otherwise so beautiful!!!

We arrived around 9:30pm, it was cold and raining. Unloaded the car to the room. Had to be careful on the steps outside in the rain, and I could see it being difficult in snow (for future reference). Hard to figure out the controls on things, like the jacuzzi, the fireplace, and how the thermostat worked. The water on the jacuzzi was somewhat warm, but not real warm. My son wanted to soak in there, but we couldn’t figure out how to do the bubbles until towards the end of his bath, we figured out by accident. But he had been in there a while and it was late, so we went to bed. The room felt hot, and I couldn’t figure out the temperature setting, so I opened the windows. The cool air outside was nice to sleep with at the head of the bed. Got up several times trying to figure out how to turn down the heat. Finally figured it out about 5am. I was up by 7:30am, and my son slept in a little longer. Shower was nice and hot. Up and dressed, and breakfast was ready for us at 9am. It was delicious and affordable. After breakfast, we loaded our stuff back in the car and got to see more of the grounds. Very nice place. About the only things I would add would be more ice availability (we had some to cool our water bottles, but would of liked more), and instructions on how to use stuff in the room, in the booklet (I did look). Also perhaps a ceiling fan in the Economy room would of been nice, to circulate the air. The bed was comfy and room was very clean.

Amazing place, with great staff. Wonderful breakfast and amenities. The grounds are so peaceful and well kept. Lots of quiet spaces to enjoy outdoors. The whole place is relaxing and welcoming.Can’t wait to stay again!

BEAUTIFUL property and Inn. Loved all the little touches like decorations,drinks and snacks,sound machine,echo,bottle opener, drinking water in the room,nice linens(need new pillows ) and TWO great coffee stations. Unfortunately after arriving late there was no water pressure and then only lukewarm water so we could not enjoy the Jacuzzi. Staff was quick to message us when we notified them of the issues.Contacless check in and out so we did not get to meet the staff. Hopefully giving them another try in the future when we can enjoy the Jacuzzi and fireplace.

I absolutely fell in love with this bed-and-breakfast. It’s tucked away in a quiet, hidden area and feels like stepping back in time into a charming old inn. Each room has its own personality, complete with a fireplace and an in-room in-ground Jacuzzi tub — perfect for relaxing. There are so many thoughtful touches throughout the property. The great room is filled with antiques and cozy seating, and you can enjoy breakfast in the dining room, kitchen area, or even outside when the weather’s nice. There are snacks, drinks, filtered water, and coffee available 24/7, which made it feel like home. Breakfast in the morning was truly excellent — fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. It’s a wonderful spot for a small family retreat or a peaceful escape for couples. And it’s surprisingly affordable for everything it offers. If every city had a place like this, I’d never stay in a hotel again!

Otter Creek Inn is a lovely bed and breakfast. It’s been a nice change of pace from a hotel each time I’ve stayed. I highly recommend giving Lisa the owner an opportunity to share her home with you. Whirlpools and fireplaces in every suite. Very nicely decorated. Free welcome reception every evening and made to order breakfast in the morning. Will continue to stay here every time I’m in Eau Claire!

The property had an interesting history, which was nicely documented for the guest to read about. The bed was very comfortable & the shower pressure was pretty good, although it was very tiny. The room itself was spacious and very clean and had everything we needed. The room towels could use an upgrade and the great room decor would be more appealing without all the silk flowers. Wine, beer n sodas were a very nice touch - a non sweet wine would be a great addition. Overall happy with the stay and a good value.

From check in to check out, it was a very good experience. The lady that owns the bed and breakfast, Lisa, is a great host and great cook. Very speedy response to any questions. Very relaxing and comfortable. Has a mini bar (that you dont have to pay for)..obviously in moderation.bed was amazingly comfortable. Very clean. Its very homey and elegant. We definitely enjoyed every bit of it. 5 stars easy. Thank you so much lisa. I will definately go back

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked through the door with the charm of my surroundings. The common areas were beautifully decorated and amenities were easily accessible and attractively displayed. I was delighted with my room. Very cozy and comfortable. I had a fireplace, large TV, jacuzzi tub, desk 2 chairs and a large bed. The tub was very nice and the heated robe was a bonus! Breakfast was amazing! I will be staying here again!

Very comfortable, clean. A little creaky, whoever was above us the floor creaked pretty loudly, we were on second floor. Other than that, our stay was lovely, breakfast was excellent. Loved the wine, beer and soda set up to serve yourself and the hands off approach to check in , breakfast, check out, etc was great.

We stayed in the Suite escape room and my girlfriend absolutely loved it. I really hit a home run with choosing Otter Creek Inn! I would highly recommend it to others, and we look forward to another visit.

We arrived around 9:30pm, it was cold and raining. Unloaded the car to the room. Had to be careful on the steps outside in the rain, and I could see it being difficult in snow (for future reference). Hard to figure out the controls on things, like the jacuzzi, the fireplace, and how the thermostat worked. The water on the jacuzzi was somewhat warm, but not real warm. My son wanted to soak in there, but we couldn’t figure out how to do the bubbles until towards the end of his bath, we figured out by accident. But he had been in there a while and it was late, so we went to bed. The room felt hot, and I couldn’t figure out the temperature setting, so I opened the windows. The cool air outside was nice to sleep with at the head of the bed. Got up several times trying to figure out how to turn down the heat. Finally figured it out about 5am. I was up by 7:30am, and my son slept in a little longer. Shower was nice and hot. Up and dressed, and breakfast was ready for us at 9am. It was delicious and affordable. After breakfast, we loaded our stuff back in the car and got to see more of the grounds. Very nice place. About the only things I would add would be more ice availability (we had some to cool our water bottles, but would of liked more), and instructions on how to use stuff in the room, in the booklet (I did look). Also perhaps a ceiling fan in the Economy room would of been nice, to circulate the air. The bed was comfy and room was very clean.

The property had an interesting history, which was nicely documented for the guest to read about. The bed was very comfortable & the shower pressure was pretty good, although it was very tiny. The room itself was spacious and very clean and had everything we needed. The room towels could use an upgrade and the great room decor would be more appealing without all the silk flowers. Wine, beer n sodas were a very nice touch - a non sweet wine would be a great addition. Overall happy with the stay and a good value.

Entire experience was simply outstanding, from the beautiful back yard with plenty of photo and lounging opportunities, to the intricate interior, to the super friendly staff! The breakfast was definitely a highlight, Kristen and Lisa were amazing to us during our stay.

We loved our stay, our room, the breakfast and hospitality. We liked the feeling that it was our home. Contact with other guests was minimal, but nice. Would be nice to have some single serve wine choices in the beverage center rather than the "sangria" that was offered. Also, text communications with host were fast and efficient.

From check in to check out, it was a very good experience. The lady that owns the bed and breakfast, Lisa, is a great host and great cook. Very speedy response to any questions. Very relaxing and comfortable. Has a mini bar (that you dont have to pay for)..obviously in moderation.bed was amazingly comfortable. Very clean. Its very homey and elegant. We definitely enjoyed every bit of it. 5 stars easy. Thank you so much lisa. I will definately go back

This is a wonderful place to stay in the Eau Claire area. It's a charming house conveniently located by nearby shopping, dining, and entertainment. It also has a quiet and secluded feel about the house and property. Self check-in is a breeze. Each room have a jacuzzi tub and The made to order breakfast is amazing and the staff are there to made sure that our stay is wonderful. My wife and I had a fun and relaxing stay and will be returning in the future.

I was taking a trip up to Minneapolis and found the Otter Creek add. The room with a giant spa room was excellent. Location is very quiet and the breakfast was delicious. I would definitely make an other trip.

AMAZING! Quaint, romantic, clean, and tastefully decorated. Lisa, the owner, was bright, friendly, and very helpful. I felt like a millionaire when I stayed there! The beautiful dining room, awesome delicious breakfast, and welcoming atmosphere make this a place that feels like home. Oh, and when I arrived there was cake, snacks, and soda/beer/wine - all complimentary!

Wonderful breakfast, great host. We would return, but to a different room. Coffee is not quite up to todays standards;weak drip pot coffee, no option for true espresso style drinks. Curtains in room 2 do not close sufficiently for privacy.

I think this would be a wonderful place for a romantic getaway. We’re an older couple. There was no handrails to come in the back way, which is the way. It was suggested to me because there’d be less stairs that way.. While the room was cute and charming with a beautiful bathtub, which I’m not able to use, a fireplace that we couldn’t use because the only place to put our large piece of luggage was on the floor in front of the fireplace. There was a stand that we could place our carry-on. The bathroom has very limited space to place any of our toiletries. The shower was good. The owners had snacks put out that you could help yourself to, including some wine.I didn’t find the coffee machine until the night before we checked out. The bed was wonderful. The owner asked if I had family in the area when we checked out and of course we did that’s why we stayed there. We had always driven by it and thought it was very charming and I was excited to be able to stay there. She said she was surprised we were there for as long as we were, evidently like I mentioned it’s a place for a romantic getaway. The grounds are lovely. I would certainly recommend it for a romantic getaway. Just don’t take much luggage perhaps just overnight stuff. We’re glad we stayed there, it’s a very charming place. I wish the owners well they are very nice and it’s a newer endeavor for them. When we left all the rooms were full, so I’m sure they will be very successful with this new endeavor.

I wish the owners well they are very nice and it’s a newer endeavor for them. When we left all the rooms were full, so I’m sure they will be very successful with this new endeavor.

The check in process was smooth and the instructions were clear. The room was clean and everything we needed during our stay was available. Common areas like the kitchen, the hallway, the patio were very well taken care off. Everything guests would need was thought of and was provided. We'll definitely book it again should we visit the area in the future.
