Great location right near the marina - we enjoyed seeing the massive cruise ships every day. The apartment is in a short walking distance (3 min) to the downtown area with great stores and restaurants. Akureyri in general is a very walkable town. The apartment was clean and comfortable - the kitchen was stocked with all the basic things for cooking, but didn't include things like salt and pepper. We picked up what we needed at the local grocery store. The building was veylry quiet and well kept. Highly recommend!

Was an amazing modern apartment. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen. Washer and dryer was the best, to wash our clothes mid trip. Very convenient location. The Hrimland Apartments was a perfect location for our 2 days in Akureyri. The apartment was well stocked with dishes and eating & serveware. The washer & dryer were a great amenity! We found the apartment really roomy, extremely clean and near dining and shopping.

Highly recommend. The view from our apartment over the harbor was wonderful. The location is just out of the busiest part of downtown, but VERY easy to walk to eat and shop. Very clean and well kept!

This is a fabulous property, a short walk away from sites and places to eat, a quiet location during September. I wanted to give an overall excellent rating but unfortunately the size of the bed was a considerable drawback, two small singles joined together. Upping to king singles would make a big difference to the quality of sleep. Apart from that our stay was most enjoyable, thank you.

This apartment was very new, clean, and well equipped. They had flawlessly integrated technology where you have a code to enter the building and the room, and it worked quickly and seamlessly. The location was incredibly convenient to downtown and the waterfront, after exploring the town I don't think any location could have been better. The bed was not the most comfortable (sheets were a little rough and the cover was too heavy for the relatively warm weather we had during our stay). Communication with the owner or manager was easy and they were very responsive. We would have benefitted from a little better understanding of the appliances (i.e. washing machine labels were in Icelandic), but with a little effort we figured it out.

These apartments were good, had everything we were looking for. Very modern setup, close to downtown and very clean. The only thing I don't appreciate is no human communication. It's always good to have someone on the property, incase there's a problem.Phone and texting takes time and is very tiresome.Didn't like instructions that we have to clean the place before leaving. I think when you're paying so much money, it should be done by the management, not the guests.

One of my favorite stays in Iceland! I really enjoyed this apartment - everything from the location to the cleanliness to the amenities etc. check in was really easy and communication with property manager was a breeze, which I really appreciate. Highly recommend to others!!

We had a great stay here. There was plenty of parking and we parked right in front. The location was convenient and just a short walk to everything. The washer and dryer was a great addition and worked better than all of the other washers and dryers I’ve used in Europe and other locations in Iceland. It still took a lot longer than the ones we have in the U.S. but they were larger than most so you could do larger loads. My husband and daughter did a 2 hr. horseback ride with Polar Hestar. They were great and we would highly recommend you book a ride with them. The town was pretty and this apartment was perfect for the 3 of us.

We had a great stay here. There was plenty of parking and we parked right in front. The location was convenient and just a short walk to everything. I wanted to give an overall excellent rating but unfortunately the size of the bed was a considerable drawback, two small singles joined together. Upping to king singles would make a big difference to the quality of sleep. Apart from that our stay was most enjoyable, thank you.
