Senda Caimari

This boutique hotel with a difference had a lot of promise but sadly failed to live up to our expectations. We paid almost 1000 euro for a 4 night stay in the family penthouse in high summer. The Hotels.com description doesn't explain that the hotel is part of a tourism drive in the mountain villages and cleverly involves the local infrastructure to offer a pool and even breakfast. Something which could be a real selling point in its own right. Unfortunately its omission from the description, and an over 200 euro a night price tag, has left us disappointed and feeling misled. We arrived just after the check in time and rang the doorbell a few times. Someone eventually opened the door but spoke only Spanish and was about to close the door, until I showed her our booking details. The room appeared ready but we did find eggshell on the rug and the sofa had a few marks and was quite basic and uncomfortable, out of keeping with the lovely antique chest and wardrobe. Our boys took the upstairs penthouse as the beds were made up separately while we had the downstairs room, which felt quite dark and not as luxurious, compounded by a lack of hangers in the wardrobe and the air conditioning unit flashing an error all night, and not working. The photos of the room show a glimpse of the stone steps to the upper level but nowhere does

Humedad en las paredes Muy dejado!!! Relación calidad para una doble superior nefasta y al final todas las habitaciones son igual. No hay diferencia entre doble o superior. Las habitaciones son iguales y encima pagas más por una habitación superior que realmente no existe Trabajo en el mundo del turismo y lo que he visto en senda caimari es indignante !!!

Le nettoyage n’a pas été fait comme prévu (pas de nouvelle serviettes même après 5jours, pas de papier toilette etc …) la salle de bain ne sentait pas bon.

Svingende kvalitet af service fra personalet: i to dage oplevede vi personalet som havde mere travlt med at snakke privat i tlf end at sørge for gæsterne, i to dage hvor der kom en anden person til, var oplevelsen en helt anden - god! Prisen svarer ikke til kvaliteten. Vi boede på et værelse hvor en hver bevægelse fra naboværelset kunne høres samt delte vi ventilator med naboværelset som gjorde at hver gang der blev tændt lyset på naboværelset, kørte /larmede ventilatoren. Upersonligt sted.

Nous avons apprecié les 3 nuits passés ici. Le bémol étant sur : * le bruit (dû à une mauvaise isolation, ce n'etait pas la faute des personnes) * l'humidité. La salle de bain garde beaucoup l'humidité malgré le systeme de ventilation. Cela laisse une odeur désagréable. En dehors de cela, le personnel est agréable, le village est mignon et bien situé, la pièce commune est bien équipé : accès à une boulloire, café, micro-onde. Mention spéciale pour les petits-déjeuners que j'ai trouvé généreux.
