Great location and clean. Nice to wake up to a quiet area. You can tell that the hotel is no longer new. It would be nice if they would go around and touch it up before it looks like it is well lived in. Otherwise it's where we always choose to stay in GR.

On the evening of October 17, 2026 my fiancé and I picked up a pizza from the hotel restaurant and entered the elevators. While inside, we were surrounded by a group of teenagers who attempted to grab our food and verbally harassed me. When my fiancé spoke up to defend us, the situation escalated. Upon exiting the elevator, a man who appeared to be the parent of the teenagers physically attacked my fiancé, punching him in the head. This unprovoked assault left him with a severe head injury (a large goose egg). When hotel management finally intervened, the "manager" on duty simply moved the attacking party to a different area of the hotel. No medical assistance was offered to us, no police were called by your staff, and absolutely no one followed up with us to ensure our safety or well-being. Furthermore, we discovered that this group had roughly 10 people crowded into a single room, which is a clear fire hazard and overcrowding violation that went entirely ignored by your staff. When we went down to the front desk this morning to see what actions were being taken, we were met with a complete lack of resolution. We were also informed that the cameras were conveniently not position to see the assault. I will tell you that the goose egg on his head is proof enough…. This is an egregious failure of basic hotel security and guest duty of care. I have emailed the hotel, and 48hrs later no response

Great stay! Very spacious room, lovely view from the balcony. Attentive and friendly staff. The 2 free drinks and snacks in the evening and complimentary full hot breakfast with made to order omelettes is a very nice added bonus. Will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Hotel, But Management Needs to Get Control of the Property The hotel itself is very nice, but our $500 Saturday-night stay was chaotic and extremely disappointing. At check-in, we were assured our requested baby crib was already in the room. It wasn't, requiring another trip to the front desk. The sports bar was essentially the only place to eat. It was extremely loud, the food mediocre, and part of the lounge had been turned into a play area for four children while the adults sat drinking wine. The biggest problem was a children's hockey team that seemed to have free rein of the hotel. Kids ran through the hallways, monopolized the pool, and "the team" appeared to be staying in a room just three doors from our room. The running, yelling and noise continued throughout the night. Where was management? Hotels are entitled to host sports teams, but one group should never be allowed to take over the pool, hallways and guest floors at the expense of everyone else. Quiet hours and reasonable behavior need to be enforced. Our "river view" also meant listening to cars racing and screeching outside, while music and hotel noise continued into the early morning. We finally gave up trying to sleep at 5:30 a.m., ate breakfast and checked out by 8:00. For approximately $500 a night, guests should be able to expect basic order, use of the amenities and a decent night's sleep. Beautiful property, but very poorly controlled. Management needs to do much better.
