Stayed here for a weekend getaway. Facilities were really nice and clean. Indoor pool. Workout facilities. Showers in the room had good water pressure and great temperature. Had continental breakfast and very easily accessible to downtown Birmingham. If I had to say anything negative at all it would be the elevators are slow. Several food options nearby. I will definitely stay there again

Did not tell us about the building construction. Started off the day with the fire alarm going off at 5 in the morning. Followed by all day hammering starting around 8 am. We always stayed here when visting Birmingham, but will give someone else a try next time.

Nice, clean room, comfortable bed. I used the fitness center to get some steps in after a day of driving. It was clean and the equipment was good. Breakfast selection is good. All is as expected from Holiday Inn.

The room wreaked of a strong fragrance that was obviously being used to hide the smell of cigarette smoke. (Although it didn't help). All of our clothes smelled awful and had to be cleaned. Luggage had to be left outside for four days to get rid of the smell. My CPAP machine could not be used for three days because the filter and tubing smelled so bad. In addition, the lighting in the room was very poor...especially around the bathroom mirror.

My family and I were in town for graduation and we absolutely loved the hotel. Everything was wonderful!!!! Check in was very easy and quick, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, good variety and nice seating area. We needed extra towels and bedding for the sofa bed and within 2 minutes of speaking with the housekeeping supervisor, we had exactly what we needed. We had an overall great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel. 10/10

Top notch cleanliness! The people we encountered at check in and checkout were warm, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was yummy and continually replinished. Lots of nice shopping in the vicinity too.

The floor I was on was going through renovations. You could smell the paint and wood. The ice machine was completely surrounded by supplies. There was a roach in the RR. Just one that I saw, but 1 too many. They did not offer a decrease in rate and withheld $100 for incidentals. smh

I loved that our suite was totally clean and smelled clean (which is a must for me). The bed was very comfortable and the staff were friendly. I will be visiting again and will recommend others there. Thank you from a very satisfied customer!

Sadly we did not get to stay and asked for a refund. We arrived early in the day and our room wasn’t ready for checkin yet. We had plans for the day so we left and confirmed that we would be coming in late for a late check in. When we arrived around 10 PM, the front desk staff was pleasant and helpful, but when we got to our room it was dirty. Unmade beds, dirty towels on floor. The hotel was sold out so there were no other rooms. The staff said they could call a housekeeper who could clean the room real quick, but we didn’t feel comfortable with a quick clean so we just asked for a refund and decided to drive the rest of the way home late into the night.

Nice property and great staff. We stayed in 401, king size bed. We had some minor issues. The shower pressure is not the best, and the hot and cold are opposite side. The safe in the room battery was dead so could not use (the people that could fix it left at 4:00pm). The landline in the room did not work (they are switching there landlines over to a new system and that is why the phone was not working). The TV guide does not work for the TV. Now the good stuff: Staff are amazing polite and takes the time to interact with you. You don't feel like a number checking in. Not sure what there is to do in the town. We were going for a 3 day haunt tour but it was cancelled 😞

Location was great! Havent stayed in a IHG hotel with a tv so small in a long time. Faucet inside tub was loose & drain had rust around it. The bed itself squeak & was not fitted to the platform. In the mist of remodeling, I know that this is unacceptable for a Holiday Inn.

There were ants crawling all over the a/c unit when we opened the curtain in the morning. We were in the second to last unit on the 4th floor and were awoken multiple times in the middle of the night by people getting ice it was so nosey. A drunk person tried opening our door after doing so. No towels in the pool in the evening or the morning, when I went to the front desk to get some I was directed to "go to the gym to get some". When we checked out we were never asked "How was your stay" just "Okay, I've got you checked out." I will say the remainder of the hotel appeared very clean. But would not stay here in the future.

Beds were super comfortable. Room were spacious. Did see one small bug after being there but it could have come from anywhere.shower curtain should probably be longer because the floor gets soaked. Breakfast was pretty good. Had a great selection to choose from. Shopping area was ok. We didn't explore that too much though. It was our first time in this particular city

One of the nicer hotels I have stayed in quite a while! The king room we reserved had an amazing shower and a huge comfortable bed. Our accommodations had all Dove products in the room and that was definitely a plus! The breakfast was ample and this property had a very reasonable deposit requirement as well. I would absolutely stay again if in the area. Very close to the convention center and nestled nicely between some businesses and a quiet residential area.

Upon check-in at 11pm after a 12 he drive we were told a housekeeper didn’t show for their shift and there were no clean rooms and we would have to wait. Front desk staff did not greet us upon arriving as we stood in front of the check-in desk for at least 2 min before we had to ask if this was where we check-in. Waited over half hour for our room to become available.

The room was much smaller than advertised. The entire staff aside from the housekeeping staff was absolutely rude. I will never book at this hotel again. The staff harassed us our entire stay. My visit was reserved for 4 people and there was a group of teenagers there that weren’t with my family I feel the front desk staff only questioned people in my party about where they were going in the hotel and reiterating their rules. I even cleaned the room myself so I wouldn’t be charged an additional fee

We had the worst experience ever. The customer service was horrible. We had three credit cards used and the desk clerk declined all of them on her end but all three cards were charged $20 each. We asked for a manager and was told she was not there. We asked for her phone number but was refused. The clerk got belligerent and yelled at us that we were not going to get the room booked. She continued to scream at the top of her voice to leave and stay somewhere else. She really lost it with us.

Good stay with the exception of check-in. It took way too long to check-in. Only one employee at the check-in desk and it was backed up when I arrived. The phone was constantly ringing the whole time I was in line. It was very frustrating. Other than that it was a great stay.

Our stay was nice! The hotel and property are clean. The check-in attendant wasn't super friendly but that's fine. Location was perfect and we felt safe. The room was very clean-even cleaned the tub for my kid's bath and had no additional dirt on my cloth. There were not enough towels in my room although I added all guests at check-in. The guide for the tv did not match the channels but we figured it out. The only major negative was breakfast. The attendant seemed very overwhelmed but also was on his phone when there were clear needs in the breakfast room. The pancake machine was consistently empty, the trash was overflowing. The eggs were burnt and stuck to the pan and from Friday-Sunday there was the same sticky spot on a table-which means no one cleaned the tables.

My family and I were in town for graduation and we absolutely loved the hotel. Everything was wonderful!!!! Check in was very easy and quick, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, good variety and nice seating area. We needed extra towels and bedding for the sofa bed and within 2 minutes of speaking with the housekeeping supervisor, we had exactly what we needed. We had an overall great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel. 10/10

Top notch cleanliness! The people we encountered at check in and checkout were warm, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was yummy and continually replinished. Lots of nice shopping in the vicinity too.

Nice, clean room, comfortable bed. I used the fitness center to get some steps in after a day of driving. It was clean and the equipment was good. Breakfast selection is good. All is as expected from Holiday Inn.

The hallways and our room had a musty smell, as soon as we walked into our room we had to kill a stink bug from the ceiling. The tile floors had hair and crumbs. Everything else was fine.
