Our room was not cleaned due to there policy of every other day to clean your room. So our trash was never taken out of the room for our 2 night stay.

I have always check the bed before bringing my luggage into any hotel room. When I lifted up the sheets to check the mattress to see if any bugs were there the mattress cover looks like it hasn’t been washed in a while and was not changed out before our stay. Our view out the window was that of a rotted covered awning that was in bad need of repair. My husband set up underneath it while smoking a cigarette, I feared at any point it would collapse. Also,, cigarette butts were everywhere because there was no cigarette, butt can for outside smoking.

I told the staff on my prior stay, that we would be flying into the airport at midnight. I knew that motels give up rooms if not checked in by a certain time. I tried very hard to be proactive. It was an overseas trip too. I told them before, I messaged on Hotels.com. I tried calling the day of, no one answered. I had my son call to remind them. They promised that the room was going to wait for me. 2am…. I show up to a worker telling me that I didn’t even have a reservation. I showed her my reservation # on hotels.com. Told her I talked to Kaitlyn. She turned me away. 2am. I had to go down the road to another hotel. 20 miles away.

Our overall stay was excellent. We were greeted warmly, and were given instructions for locating our room as well as breakfast hours. We reserved a room for two nights; however, we had a change in our plans, which required us to cancel our second night; due to a family illness. The staff was understanding and helped us cancel the second night and receive a refund for the canceled day. The breakfast was a full continental style meal. They offered waffles, omelettes, bacon, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, hot oatmeal, cereal, sweet danishes and bagels, milk, juice. Condiments were in abundant supply and Everything was served hot and delicious. The staff were courteous and kept the food well stocked for their guests. The room and bathroom were very clean. The beds were soft and comfortable with fluffy pillows. We were able to sleep peacefully without any disturbances from either the hallway or surrounding rooms. Thank you for an extremely pleasant stay. Our future stay will be for its entirety.
