Wolf Creek Inn is a truly unique place. Super clean rooms and living area as well as the grounds. Keep in mind that the Inn was built in the 1800’s so if you are located in the first floor you can hear everything going on above. The bed was comfortable and the shower water hot. The caretaker was friendly and knowledgeable but resides in the back of the Inn so if you need anything you have to call him. Restaurant is only open Thursday through Sunday which we missed out on but I’ve heard it is very good. No place to eat for miles around so it’s best to bring food with you if the restaurant is closed. They have a microwave and small refrigerator upstairs in the dining area for your use as well as a Keurig coffeemaker. There are two gas stations across from the Inn for convenience. My only complaint is there are a lot of homeless people hanging around across the street and at times where spotted walking around the Inn property. It felt a bit unsafe. That being said, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend the Wolf Creek Inn for a good and very unique adventure

Fantastic historic Inn. We loved it! Highlights included the pub on the first floor for dinner and entertainment and the Holiday decorations all the way to a Christmas quilt on our bed. Such a great stay!

The Wolf Creek Inn & Tavern is a historic place run by the Oregon State Parks. Beautifully restored. Very interesting and informative articles & pictures. The staff were wonderful, very helpful & friendly. It's obvious they were excited to work there. We are definitely staying again soon.

A historical stagecoach stop. The rooms have been updated but retain their historical character. Several rooms are open and set up like a museum with historical objects and explanations. many famous people - presidents, authors, movie stars - have stayed here. The staff is among the best of all hotels I’ve stayed at. They are very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable about the history and locale. Great food in the dining room. The decorations for the season are really over the top amazing. I highly recommend staying here when in the area.

We love this place. It’s historic and charming and quiet. I love sitting in the parlor reading or chatting or playing games in the upstairs ballroom. It was a gorgeous night and we sat out on one of the several porches and enjoyed our happy hour. Halloween time was especially fun as the decorations are over the top! The place is an adventure and a historic lesson all in one. You should really make plans to stay here. It has very EZ access to I5. The caretakers are friendly, helpful, and amazing cooks. We have stayed here quite a few times and always look forward to it.

If you enjoy historic buildings, the Wolf Creek Inn was a delightful place to stay. There is an outdoor patio with games and we had a lovely evening playing outside while walking through the orchards.

This was a perfect stopping place for us on a long trip. Our room was very clean and cozy. We felt comfortable there. The staff was friendly. But a note there’s no one to man a front desk or anything so it’s a little different than what you might be expecting

We loved it here! Rooms are scrupulously cleaned, beds are extremely comfortable and bedding is the loveliest, softest I’ve ever slept on at a hotel. There’s wifi but no TVs in the room so it’s a great place to unplug. The hotel is also a museum with interesting exhibits and everything the way it would’ve been back in the old days. Supposedly haunted but the only strange noises we heard were the other guests moving about because it’s an old building. The food at the restaurant is also amazing and lovingly made from scratch, served in the original dining room which has a very cool historical vibe. The owners were super nice and fun to talk to about the history. There’s also a cool ghost town down the road. A new favorite spot for sure!

We loved the Inn. For a 100 year old building it is in fantastic shape and very clean. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the little museum is informative and entertaining. Our only disappointment was that we didn't see a ghost!

Good food, very clean room, fresh bedding with no tv. I got 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. One of the staff walked me to my room and gave me the quick tour when the restaurant was pretty busy (he was working) check in and check out was a breeze. The history of the place was so interesting and the hotel itself has been kept up very nicely. I stay in hotels often and this was a very refreshing change to the big corporate hotels. They pay attention to details to help weary travelers and they’ve been doing it since the 1800’s! I hope to be that way again for another stay

This truly is a great experience and easy to imagine staying here in the early 20th century. Back when travelers journeyed at a lot slower pace. A couple of points, if you need a hair drier better bring your own as there isn’t one in the room. Also there is a homeless camp just kitty corner to the hotel.

I would have given a 5 star, but the noise was horrible. The family or group in room 1 was loud until very late. I heard someone complain to them, but they kept it up (young adults or kids). Not OK, when most of us had to be alert for many hours of driving the next day. No sleep in not recommended.

Very sweet spot. Excellent food! Top shelf service. Great beer! Best French dip ever! Realy reasonable prices. Loved it! Just was not expecting such a small bed upstairs at our age the stairs were a challenge. Get a ground floor room. Not sure if they have larger king size beds? It's authentic 1925 charm so the beds are 1925 style and my bad for not looking into it further. Great place! Beautiful area.

As in the days of yore, a great place to stop traveling from California to Oregon. Rooms have been upgraded since the 19th century of course. Very comfortable beds. En suite bathroom. Lovely parlor to relax in and the restaurant was top-notch.

Wolf Creek Inn is a great place to stay if you're looking for a little bit of history on your road trip. Be aware the restaurant at the inn is open Thursdays through Sundays. The beds are comfortable and the room is quaintly decorated. The attached bathroom is small but clean. There is a bit of road noise as the windows aren't really soundproof but the local road noise did diminish at night. There is a lot of history here, definitely worth a stop!

We were running late and received a call and text to let us know that the last seating for dinner was in 10 minutes and they could hold a table for us and we made it. The hotel is quaint and awesome and staff was helpful. There was no tv but we survived without it.
We were running late and received a call and text to let us know that the last seating for dinner was in 10 minutes and they could hold a table for us and we made it. The hotel is quaint and awesome and staff was helpful. There was no tv but we survived without it.

This was a perfect stopping place for us on a long trip. Our room was very clean and cozy. We felt comfortable there. The staff was friendly. But a note there’s no one to man a front desk or anything so it’s a little different than what you might be expecting

The Wolf Creek Inn & Tavern is a historic place run by the Oregon State Parks. Beautifully restored. Very interesting and informative articles & pictures. The staff were wonderful, very helpful & friendly. It's obvious they were excited to work there. We are definitely staying again soon.

This truly is a great experience and easy to imagine staying here in the early 20th century. Back when travelers journeyed at a lot slower pace. A couple of points, if you need a hair drier better bring your own as there isn’t one in the room. Also there is a homeless camp just kitty corner to the hotel.

This was such a fantastic place to stay! Very clean and fun to walk around. The porches and patio were very relaxing. We went to see if anything ghostly would happen, but unfortunately, haha, it wasn't creepy at all. We were downstairs, and I heard most hauntings happen upstairs. It's true that other than their restaurant, there are no places to get food. We brought our own cooler for snacks and beverages. The people at the shell across the street are very strange, so just be careful there. All-in-all I can mark it off my list of things to see in Oregon! Thank you Wolf Creek Inn!

Don’t bother staying in Grants Pass. For the same or less money stay at this charming historic inn with good food on site and beautiful grounds to relax in. Built in 1885, the inn is old, but well maintained, clean and comfortable. A great place to take a break while traveling on I-5.

Wolf Creek Inn is a truly unique place. Super clean rooms and living area as well as the grounds. Keep in mind that the Inn was built in the 1800’s so if you are located in the first floor you can hear everything going on above. The bed was comfortable and the shower water hot. The caretaker was friendly and knowledgeable but resides in the back of the Inn so if you need anything you have to call him. Restaurant is only open Thursday through Sunday which we missed out on but I’ve heard it is very good. No place to eat for miles around so it’s best to bring food with you if the restaurant is closed. They have a microwave and small refrigerator upstairs in the dining area for your use as well as a Keurig coffeemaker. There are two gas stations across from the Inn for convenience. My only complaint is there are a lot of homeless people hanging around across the street and at times where spotted walking around the Inn property. It felt a bit unsafe. That being said, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend the Wolf Creek Inn for a good and very unique adventure

This was a wonderful experience. Very old, but modernized property tucked away in rural Oregon. Friendly and helpful staff made the experience even better. If you're looking for somewhere interesting to stay off the beaten path, this is the place!

Wolf Creek Inn is a great place to stay if you're looking for a little bit of history on your road trip. Be aware the restaurant at the inn is open Thursdays through Sundays. The beds are comfortable and the room is quaintly decorated. The attached bathroom is small but clean. There is a bit of road noise as the windows aren't really soundproof but the local road noise did diminish at night. There is a lot of history here, definitely worth a stop!

I should have read the reviews more carefully it was like staying overnight at Abraham Lincoln's servants bedroom. The tavern was closed so food was 15 mi away and we were too tired to travel there and back. So we slept a few hours in the room and then finished the last leg home.If we wouldn't have been on a road trip it might have been a fun place to stay. But no TV in the room none of the typical amenities it was an experience place. Maybe I'll try it some other time when I just want the experience lol

If you enjoy historical buildings then this is the place for you. The building and room were nicely laid out with the guest kitchen and game room a bonus. You need to be aware that the tavern is not open Monday Tuesday or Wednesday, and the closest other dining options are over 20 minutes away. Make sure to bring dinner for those nights since they have beautiful picnic grounds.

Beautiful property! We loved the history; felt like we stepped back in time. We also appreciated the cleanliness and quietness and it felt very safe. The breakfast was amazing! We definitely want to come back and stay again!

As in the days of yore, a great place to stop traveling from California to Oregon. Rooms have been upgraded since the 19th century of course. Very comfortable beds. En suite bathroom. Lovely parlor to relax in and the restaurant was top-notch.

We loved the Inn. For a 100 year old building it is in fantastic shape and very clean. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the little museum is informative and entertaining. Our only disappointment was that we didn't see a ghost!

We've started at Wolf Creek before. It's unique, a bit funky and friendly. I got a message from them as we were driving from Washington in the heat with a dog that the restaurant was not open on Wednesday. There are no other restaurants in the area. We decided to lose our money and drive on to an area where we could stay and eat.

I've stayed at Wolf Creek a few times this month during my travels. The time I stayed last week, everything was ideal! My room and bath were nicely upgraded and the Tavern was open and it was delicious! That was a Thursday. This week, I stayed on a Wednesday and there was a closed sign on the door. After finding the number to call, the staff straightened it all up and got me inside. My room this time wasn't so nicely upgraded but it was still ok. The tavern was closed which left me figuring out what to do for dinner but that was ok too. Just remember, if you are looking forward to a meal downstairs during your stay, the tavern is not open on Wednesdays. 🙂
