The villas are getting old, they have done a nice job of updating the kitchen and baths, but most of the rest is vintage 1970's. the decks have weiht limits of 6 people which sounds scary, and the emergency exit deck is ready to fall off the building. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again, but they are a bit on the pricey end for what you get.

Great getaway from the cities! Cozy cabin with amazing views. The instructions for the fireplace were a little confusing and little amenities likes coffee and shampoo would be awesome. Clean and comfy!

Came here with family for a wedding. I like today there are mostly positives with a few negatives in our stay. I will start with my positives and then my 3 negatives which I'd say one negative the location may or may not been aware of so giving benefit of the doubt. First positives. Very clean up on arrival Great and fast wifi connection Satellite TV Stayed cool and heated when needed Provided coffee pot along with dishwasher tabs and bathroom soap and other toiletries Quit location Nice having a fridge and stove if needed Negatives Master bathroom tub did not drain properly. With short time standing in water. This is the one location may not be aware of and left on comment card The big negative for me and is subjective is the mattress. Having back issues I felt as well as all the people with me is that the mattresses were bad. Jokingly we said it felt like they were from the 90s. Just all coil and no support. Woke up each morning in back pain. I feel a mattress upgrade is warranted. My final negative is the parking. There is a sign about how to park however no one follows it in my opinion. We got back one night and there was barely any opening along with a big truck with a huge trailer taking up most the space and area. Better communication on parking I think could be warranted. Beautiful spacious villas with plenty of room for 6. Loved the wrap around porch and jacuzzi tub . So nice having 2 bathrooms with 6 people definitely needed. Beautiful location in woods with partial view of the lake. Everything we needed to cook was there. An

Everything was great, but electricity went out around 10pm and didn’t get fixed until 10am. This made it a hassle to get around in the dark, even with flashlights.

Such a great place at the top of the ski lifts, surrounded by trees. These are quaint “treehouses”, adorably decorated and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would return any time of year. *Know that you will have to walk a short distance and climb stairs to enter them as they are on pedestals.

The villa was a really cool and unique place to stay. It was cozy and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed and was a nice bonus. Pet friendly option was great for our family. My only complaints are that our villa (#14) could use some general maintenance. The deck had some loose boards etc, the shower in the main bedroom didn’t drain, the tv’s were old and mostly useless as well as the tv in the main bedroom didn’t have any remotes. In fairness we weren’t there to watch tv but would have liked the option in our down time. Perhaps a deep clean of the unit would be a good idea (higher up areas). The staff was very friendly and the grounds were nice. All in all we would happily stay there again and check out one of the units on the other side of the road with a better view. I would recommend this place!

Over all I loved the villas . They definitely have a very cabiny feel so they aren’t brand new and black and white and modern however they were very clean. I also just really loved that there was 2 BATHROOMS! I have a family of 6 and we can’t all share 1 bathroom haha! We will be back for sure! I also really enjoyed that they had games and movies :) My one downside was that they are not 100% level and I felt like on the edges it leaned a bit more than I would have expected . I was nervous at first but it still feels very structurally sound .

The Villa was great! We stayed here for our wedding and couldn’t have picked a better stop! It was so nice and clean and very spacious. There are great trails right out the back door. Large front and back porch along with a screened in porch. Would definitely stay again! Staff are nice & very communicative.

Cute and cozy. Very clean and updated. Perfect view. Small beds that maybe could use a memory foam topper so you don’t roll to the middle. Great price for this 2 bedroom 2 bath villa. We would come here again.

We have been visiting Duluth and the North Shore for about 20 years and this stay was wonderful. It was perfect for my family of 4. We had our own rooms and a separate living room, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms. It was like your own home away from home. The property itself was quiet (except for the lawn mower at 8 a.m. one morning). It was a nice stay away from the busyness of town, but a short, beautiful drive to the attractions. Would definitely recommend!

Cute and cozy. Very clean and updated. Perfect view. Small beds that maybe could use a memory foam topper so you don’t roll to the middle. Great price for this 2 bedroom 2 bath villa. We would come here again.

The place was beautiful, calm and peaceful! Such a relaxing place to stay and not far from downtown Duluth! The lady at the front office even wrote down what times boats come into the harbor to watch!

We wanted a nice relaxing time for it short weekend. My husband and I chose this place, and am I ever we did. Very cozy and simple, just the way we like it. We got to have a nice fire going late at night; we were lucky to be the only ones in our area. The only thing I wish I’d that I wish we could check out later than 11am. I asked for a late checkout when I booked but didn’t get a response. Overall, very happy. We will be back.

The Villa was great! We stayed here for our wedding and couldn’t have picked a better stop! It was so nice and clean and very spacious. There are great trails right out the back door. Large front and back porch along with a screened in porch. Would definitely stay again! Staff are nice & very communicative.

Such a great place at the top of the ski lifts, surrounded by trees. These are quaint “treehouses”, adorably decorated and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would return any time of year. *Know that you will have to walk a short distance and climb stairs to enter them as they are on pedestals.

We have been visiting Duluth and the North Shore for about 20 years and this stay was wonderful. It was perfect for my family of 4. We had our own rooms and a separate living room, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms. It was like your own home away from home. The property itself was quiet (except for the lawn mower at 8 a.m. one morning). It was a nice stay away from the busyness of town, but a short, beautiful drive to the attractions. Would definitely recommend!

The location was a nice, quiet respite from the busyness of Duluth. However, if we had been a few minutes later, the checkin process would have been difficult, as we just caught Holly before she was leaving. The primary bathroom wasn't very clean, but we really appreciated being out in nature.

Unique property. Kids loved it. The “house” was smaller than the photos represented, but it was still big enough. The property is loud. Expect really squeaky floors, doors, and furniture. If you are adults traveling with kids, just beware that the bed in the adult bedroom is very noisy, if you know what I mean. The jacuzzi tub is REALLY loud. Like a person couldn’t hear the TV in the sitting room over the roar of the jacuzzi. Kitchen is well-equipped and the decor is cute.

I liked all the windows but one large pane had condensation - obstructing the view. ~Two flights of stairs - not sure that was mentioned. It all seemed cobbled together, the moldings, doors, furniture, etc. For this cost I expected mire. Plus its really far from any day or night activities. If you just want to get away - watch movie, read a book, it’s fine. Plus I don’t think i should have to take out my own garbage when i leave. Parking was horrible as were the asphalt steps down - felt unsafe.
